You can't beat the location. I chose this establishment because of the price+location+animals were allowed. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable.
Bed was sooo comfortable. Noises outside didn't really bother me.
The restaurants around I tried were all excellent. My dogs got their own bistecca bones as well.

An ideal location, maintained accommodation. — small bathroom, very noisy place in the evening, average breakfast.

I stayed here for two nights with my wife on our honeymoon. The location can't really be beat — it is right across from the Baptistry and main Duomo. Otherwise a reasonable bed and breakfast. The room was clean and breakfast was reasonable. The room was a bit small but expected in Florence. The staff was a pleasure.

Wonderful Property in a Superb Location This B&B is directly on the square which houses the Doumo, the most impressive site in Florence. It is extremely well run with a helping hand extended whenever we had a question. The entrance is a bit difficult to find, but when you arrive, take the elevator to the third floor and you enter a small but intimate space. We had a wonderful room which slept three. The bed was compfortable and the room spacious and airy. We stayed three nights and would definitely come here again when we return to Florence.

Love this place! Its magical looking out the window at the Duomo. Lots of fun down below in the piazza.

Pension on the third floor of Piazza del Duomo in Florence. The place is very clean and quiet, the room had the view directly on Piazza del Duomo. The prices very low (bought a single on booking two months before), possibility of breakfast with small buffet. The reception is not always available, only at certain times. If you need it anyway you can call someone.

I did not like… the staff very good. Good breakfast.

Location right next to the Cathedral. Accommodation very clean and the Staff very accommodating. Breakfast still has Potential. Unfortunately, there was nothing with the View of the Cathedral because there was a Scaffolding in front of the Window.

We stayed here for our honeymoon in December 2017 and loved it. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed, and the included breakfast was great. Also, the location was very convenient.

Stay a year ago, the beautiful B&B in the center, beautiful view. Rooms are neat and clean, maybe just the bathroom a little small but equally efficient. Managers cordial and available for any thing. Comfortable bed and breakfast well-stocked. If one day I were to return to Florence Soggiorno Battistero will be my first choice. Congratulations!

Room was very clean. Location is just infront of the Duomo. Lots of restaurants and shops around the area. Fast check in. Daniele is a great host who made us feel so at home.

Perfect place for visiting Florence. Room with a view of the Duomo, breakfast is mixed and varied, attentive to the needs of food behind my request, the staff is helpful and willing to give advice of any kind! Promoted! ^^

Wonderful! I was there and it was all perfect, except that it did not work the elevator and had to climb 3 floors by stairs. But the attention was very good in general. And the úbicacion of the best!

Absolutely perfect! Great location, comfortable bed, wonderful owners who will help with reservations and recommendations, and great breakfast. If you want to be in the center of it all, don't mind listening to music playing well into the night, and want the romantic feeling of Italy this is the place to book.

Great location. Central to all the sights as well as both train stations. We were able to walk everywhere from here. Some of the rooms overlook the piazza at the duomo and makes for great people watching. Breakfast each morning was prompt and the cappuccinos were delicious. The new owner is friendly and informative (the hotel recently changed hands). On the down side, the air conditioning barely worked. We visited during the summer (hot and humid) and had trouble sleeping in the heat. We switched rooms, but still were not comfortable. This was a big negative. Rooms were clean but bathrooms were sparse and in need of some repairs.

Rick Steve's nailed it, a charming B&B steps from the Duomo and right in the heart of Florence. Kelly and her husband are very nice and helpful. Prices were good considering the premium location. If I end up back in Florence, I'll end up back at Soggiorno Battistero. Only 4/5 because I never saw the cat :). Skip the restaurant that is right out front though (not associated with the B&B), there are only 10000 better places to eat in Florence where they actually treat you well.

As a frequent traveler to Florence I must say that the Soggiorno Battistero is by far the best place to stay in Florence. I have read some of the reviews and "noisy" seems to be the most common "complaint". Does it get loud in the center of town? Any town? Yes. If you don't like any amount of noise I would kindly suggest staying in a library. How you quickly forget that you are on vacation! The noise is not bothersome. After a long day walking around town and taking in the many museums I am quite exhausted and the "noise" gently lulls me to sleep. The location is perfect. It is exactly a nine minute and forty-two second walk from the train station (with luggage) 8 minutes without luggage. You are in the heart of the city. The morning bells from Giotto's tower will welcome you to the new day. If you enjoy people watching, this place is awesome for that. If you prefer the "quieter" room ask for the room in the back. I personally like the room in the back as it gives me the sense that I am at home in my flat. The view of course is that of an alley and in the early morning hours you will hear the "locals" getting to work and talking. This lends to the feeling of being "home". Some complain too about the breakfast. Seriously? The breakfast is more than enough to start the the day (caffe, egg, cornetti. ). If you need more than that. There is a McDonald's about 9 minutes away. :) In all seriousness, this is the best place in all of florence. Period.
