Reception at check-out, exemplary service and courtesy. Perfectly air-conditioned rooms, cleanliness and accuracy in the details both in the room and in the common areas. Breakfast with ample proposals of absolute quality. Maximum availability and kindness of all the staff. Definitely I will return to St. Gallen also for future stays in Florence, absolutely recommended!

Amazing hotel to stay in Florence. It is walking distance from the sights and everyone is very attentive and friendly. The rooms are lovely and I couldn't complain about anything, everything was wonderful. I hope to return soon!

Excellent hotel a short walk away from the city center.

I would highly recommend this hotel. It's a beautiful hotel. Our room was amazing. Loved the bar and restaurant too. A huge selection to choose from at breakfast. Last but not least, the staff were amazing. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and helped us out with tours, taxis etc. I will definitely be back.

Fabulous hotel! Absolutely beautiful. Staff was very kind and helpful! Problems: To make a bigger bed — put two twin beds together. They slipped apart every night. The bathroom was huge and very nice but the shower had a strange set up and completely soaked the floor every time. About 20 minutes from city center by walking. Hop on Hop off and regular bus stop just right up the street though.

Very good choice. It is a hotel from which you can walk to the center (it is 10 minutes from La Academia). The building is old, but the hotel is great. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and in perfect condition. Breakfast doesn't have much variety, but it's pretty good. It has a garden bar where you can have a beer or dine quietly and relaxedly.
In short, I think it's a very wise choice to visit the city.

I understand now why peopl suggested renovations. At first I thought your staying in Florence the architecture is old every is old what are their expectations. However Our shower head stayed only a height of 4feet and flooded the bathroom every time it turned on. The toilet seat would not stay on its hinges. Also on the main floor where we stayed there appeared to be just one other room next to us and yet every morning for 6-8 am there was a ton of banging/ people chatting / no carpet but sounded like a vacuum in the hallway.

Hotel a circa 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di Firenze. Dispone di alcuni posti auto presso un parking adiacente. Purtroppo non riservabile in anticipo ma estremamente conveniente (12 euro a notte contro I 35 del parchimetro). Hotel molto bello, arredato in stile fiorentino. Staff cordiale e disponibile ad ogni richiesta. Unica nota negativa un rumore di ventole continuo tutto il tempo. Pensavo fosse il condizionatore ma anche spento quello continuava. Colazione continentale molto ricca e varia. Decisamente consigliato.

Great hotel with a amazing breakfast for free in the morning! We had a couple issues with our room that were quickly resolved so we are more than happy with our stay. The location is also great! Its far enough away from the city center that you can avoid all the toursity not very good restaurants. Everywhere we have eaten around here has been amazing!

The Hotel was located on the location, as close to the center with the possibility of parking. Clean, tidy, but the rooms have little light. There is breakfast, it is rather better than nothing. And The parking was a nuance. In fact it is not a hotel. There is a public opposite.

Hotel located in a strategic position for the center of Florence. Very cosy and well preserved structure. Only note: The room, even if it was a double, was quite small.

We were treated so well at San Gallo, quaint hotel within walking distance of all the must see places. Only issue was very slow Wifi, but that was just to load pictures and you are suppose to be on holidays while in the city. Great breakfast downstairs and a nice bar and patio to have a drink and wind down before bed.

The location is a little far from the main attractions but the hotel itself was great. The rooms were spacious and clean.

The Hotel San Gallo palace ist quite nice, located quite ideally for tourists. Bus stops are around the corner, the staff ist also very nice. The bar is a slight minus point, there are slim to no guests, and the bar keeper will keep it this way. WLAN is so very slow, it is No pleasure to stream a movie. The Air conditioning is Not available in march, otherwise it is a very nice hotel. Breakfast does deserve a plus Point. All in all a nice hotel, would stay here again.

Loved our stay here. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional. Fairly central location, easy to walk to most anywhere in Florence. Breakfast is lovely, the rooms are charming. Would definitely recommend!

Cared for in every detail! Great location and service Excellent! It's a Hotel gem! Every little detail shows care, desire for hospitality and style. The small cozy garden, the elegant lobby, the excellent professional and elegant concierge never sliced! I find it one of the best hotels among all those I have certainly attended better than any hotel chain with the 5 * * * * *! At breakfast (inclusive) you will discover welcome and you'll be surprised by the quality and variety of products offered! I love the St. Gall!

Hotel a 10-minute walk from the center. Well appointed and clean and spacious rooms. It lacks a large indoor parking and a restaurant, but overall it is very good. Recommended for not too long stays.

A reasonably priced hotel and sufficient accommodations. Rooms have their own climate control, are a decent size, and you get solid amenities like a towel warmer and a trouser press. My own complaint is that the Wi-Fi is incredibly slow for 2018 and reception is spotty in rooms. Do not plan on working from your room.

The room was fine and clean. If you need you can leave your car at a park near the hotel at a very cheap price, ask hotel's reception. The breakfast was good too. Hotel's staff was very kind and prepared. I'll come back for sure.

The parking is a little offsite and was not easy to find despite lots of help from staff. Driving in Florence send a little crazy though drivers are not as aggressive as they can be elsewhere. Nice outdoor patio that could be spectacular in warmer weather.

Spent 3 nights at less than €100 a day. OK for a 3 star hotel. Comfortable room and no one friendly.

It was a very nice place to walk to and from the centre.

The hotel was in a great location far enough from the center center yet close enough to find cool new places. The staff was incredibly helpful. Also the bar and breakfast far exceeded expectations.

This place is outstanding! LOCATION is perfect when you need to get some place! We walked to just about every location that we needed to see! They are honest up front that it takes about 20 minutes, but the walk is straight forward! Breakfast is perfect, rooms are great (quiet and dark for any jet leg you may have). We slept well and not because of the wine! They offer a shuttle service if you don't want to walk at all.

We stayed here for one night, booking at the last minute after our original plans fell apart. Situated just outside the main tourist area. Close enough to walk into the center, but far enough out to see some the "real" Florence. Minibus service into town in the mornings and evenings. Super friendly staff. Excellent breakfast by Italian hotel standards which you can take on the terrace. Bar for apperitivo, but no restaurant (don't worry Florence isn't short of good places to eat. ). Our room was cool even with the summer hear outside and very clean. Some rooms seem to have a private terrace. This place might not be suitable for people with mobility problems since we couldn't avoid taking stairs to get to our room (but other rooms might be different).

Quality service. Very quiet place not that far way from thée City Centre. A few bicycles are made available to the guests. However, we would expect better facilities from a 5-star hotel. The mattresses are poor.

Very nice, friendly hotel. Were at the end of April for a week at the San Gallo Palace and immediately felt comfortable. Room and bathroom large and with a lot of comfort. Coffee machine with daily capsules free of charge from the hotel, so that we could enjoy a delicious espresso before breakfast. Breakfast great also for vegetarians plenty of choice. 15 — 20 minutes from the center, ideal on foot. We parked our car on arrival of the underground car park and did not need it for the rest of the days. Definitely recommended.

Fantastic Hotel located in the center in the future I think Soggiorneró here, impeccable service and rooms kept ad hoc.

Good location about 1 km walls from the train station. Friendly, helpful staff. Free bicycles to tour around town. Large clean rooms. I'd stay here without hesitation again.

It's a beautiful place and Dennis at the bar was so amicable but disappointed with level of service. The air conditioning had been turned off in the midst of a warm day but it took repeated requests to get the fan. Telephone was not working and no one fixed it and I had to keep running down for queries. Not my expectation of a relaxing stay.

A lovely hotel in a good position about 1km from the centre. Well appointed rooms with espresso machine, tv, minibar etc. Niice bar & friendly helpful staff. I do recommend this hotel.

Average hotel. It's near a noisy street and the Wi-Fi internet is painfully slow. The bar staff are friendly and rooms are clean. However, the phones in our room we're not working the entire stay and never fixed. The location is great though, as you're close to the city center.

Very nice and small hotel in a quiet area at the Libertad square. Very entgspannend after the tourist visits. Rooms spacious and clean. Restaurant and small bar offer also even late in the evening super service! Very nice staff. Nearby many shops cafés.
