My husband and I stayed a weekend at this hotel… what can I say, very kind staff good value for money is very close to the center!

Rated 10th to this beautiful hotel in all respects! Cleanliness, quality of rooms, courtesy, breakfast, parking and location. 15 min walk from the center without having to take means that, especially in this period, are gladly avoided. A special hug and a heartfelt thanks to Raffaele for his availability and to Vanessa for his infinite kindness. I recommend it to anyone who wants to make an escape to Florence with the family (for children ideal place) or even for a couple. We will definitely be back.

Friendly staff who could speak good English, very knowledgeable regarding Florence and sites to see and do. We loved Roseann who was on the front desk, she went above and beyond with some thing we needed to know. The rooms are very clean and affordable. Close to tram and close to the main centre.

Beautiful three-star hotel two tram stops from the center, manicured and spacious rooms. Great breakfast in my opinion. The gentle, handy peraonal. Raffaele at the reception a fantastic person. To be referenced when moving from Florence.

Good breakfast and super friendly staff. Three star's means you get a hollowed out bed and older furnishings. Somewhat outside central town, but only 15 min walk from all amenities.

Fantastic hotel. Best breakfast in Europe. Staff friendly and go out of their way to help. Very clean rooms.

Good geographical location. Parking 20 but appreciable, complicated entry in reverse obligatory. Very decent family room. Good continental breakfast.

Staff attentive to its customers.
Located 20 minutes walk from the heart of the city very lively. It's better and quieter.
Our room with a bed of 180 was located in r-1 (g55) with a small balcony but near the breakfast room. Personally, I do not like to be in r-1.
Our room has a blackout curtain. Not bad in the sunny days. I think the comfort depends on the price of the rooms but otherwise spacious room. The bathroom is small, fixed pommel.
It suits us anyway and we had a pleasant stay in Florence.

20 minutes walk from the historic centre and 10 minutes from the train station.

We spent 3 nights at the Hotel La Fortezza and were very satisfied with the services.

Too good. Spacious room and bathroom. Peaceful placr. Cordial reception and breakfast staff. And a grand breakfast with extra touch of fresh free cappuccino on order. A 15 minutes walk from train station and two minute walk from bus stop. The only missing thing was a slant ramp at hotel entry for people with big bags and no one at door to help either to pull the bags up through the steps. Thank god we are young! :)

Hotel was great. Within walking distance to the beautiful city centre and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Rooms were quite simple but we didn't spend much time there as the city was too good to miss out on! Perfect for a city break!

Very good location near the train and a few blocks from the historical part. The receptionists speak different languages English, French, Spanish and are friendly. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean.
Comfortable room, bathroom with bathtub is idea, just notice some details of paint on the dressing, nothing serious. The only thing I did not like was the red carpet from the entrance very dirty too when you enter it looks bad and a very old divine armchair but just as stained as the carpet. Only that, then the rest very satisfying. I would return without hesitation. Excellent price-quality ratio.

Rooms satisfactory for the price. Near Fortezza da Basso, they did not give me the money upfront but a voucher for a period of my choice. Short for almost 300 euros. Only the staff deserves a round of applause for kindness and courtesy! Not recommended.

We stayed in this hotel for 2017 end, the breakfast is quite good. They offer many BIO choose. However the location is not good, also the original walking path is under construction; we need to take another path to be hotel and need to walk through the tunnel which is really quiet in the evening. It makes us feel danger.

The hotel can also be reached from the station on foot with a 10-minute walk. The staff are friendly and helpful to give you some suggestions. The centre can be reached in less than 10 minutes on foot. Comfortable. Good breakfast I recommend it.

Wonderful place the only thing was my mom's bed leaned a little to one side other than that it was great, very accommodating!

Cozy hotel… away from the noisy streets. Reasonable free breakfast… might improve beds quality (queen instead of joint twins) … clean/spotless room.

Great hotel. Once we found our way around Florence it was only a 15 min walk to the centre. The rooms need mirrors in them near plug points. Plus tea and coffee making facilities would be good. Breakfast is a good continental.

This is the best hotel in Florence for its price. Bed and a wonderful breakfast. Very attentive service, cosy rooms and basically an easy walk into the city.

Very nice hotel. Great service but there is no restaurant and other good restaurants in the area are sparse. No apparent local bus service to central Florence.

Quiet hotel with parking place just outside the limited traffic area, good and hearty breakfast.

The staff is very helpful for any customer needs and that the property is in a relatively close to the centre, unfortunately it has very basic rooms. Equipped with the necessary strait, these are very small. Also the bathroom is very small especially the shower. The rooms are equipped with mini bar. Private parking is available at the hotel. On the other hand the breakfast is plentiful.

Clean room and very spacious. Shower was small and bed was fairly hard but all in all a good stay for a 3* hotel. Extra props to the hotel staff who were very helpful with directions and making us feel welcome/comfortable.

Great service from the staff. Room was clean and worth the price. There was private parking service. And only a short walk to get to the city centre. Can recommend to everyone who needs a stay to sleep in Firenze.

Disgusting hotel with rude reception. When we first arrived, nobody even offered to help us with our bags. When we got into the room, it was full of mosquitoes, both alive and dead. The walls were covered in several crushed mosquitoes, as well as blood smears from those mosquitoes. The sheets were also dirty. The room was dark and dingy. It had very few lights, and the lights that were there were very dim. The room was hot, about 80F, but the AC was not turned on, even though their website promises AC. When I went to the reception to ask about the air, they told me to open the window. I would have done that if opening the window didn't let in more mosquitoes. The room had a "wonderful" view over a fire escape that the hotel employees would smoke on. Any time we left or entered the hotel, nobody ever greeted us, and many times, the reception area was completely empty. The website also lies about their "king size" bed. It is not a king size bed at all, but rather two twin mattresses pushed together. The only redeeming quality of this hotel was the included breakfast and the waitress working there. It was simple fare; cakes, yogurts, cereal, etc. But the waitress was so pleasant and helpful it felt like we were in a completely different environment. If everyone there was like her, this place probably would be much better. But as it is, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, and will never go back.

We recently stayed at the Hotel la Firenze Italy. The room was so dark with very very low lightening we could not see a thing: Unable to read: put on make up: look over luggage and used our cell phones for light! I understand conserving electricity but come on now! In addition, the room was full of mesquitoes I did ask for the terrace room and expected this insect explosion bit why the dead ones were not remeved from the walls is beyond me! Awful! The lady at the front desk talked so much on her cell phone this was while there were quests waiting to be checked out, not accceptable. We had to carry our luggage up the steps because no one helped with bags. Awful stay never again.

Great hotel at ten minutes from the station and the Centre. Rooms spacious and clean. The breakfast was excellent.

Very comfortable and well run hotel, we have an excellent room with good bathroom all cleaned very well each day. The buffet breakfast has been excellent and quite satisfying. The staff all speak good English and are very helpful.

Medium sized hotel but well structured. The best quality for the price. The room with the air conditioner gets cold. Recommended.
