We had a very pleasant stay at Villa Betania. Great location out of the hustle and bustle of the centre of Florence, but easy enough to get to on foot or by bus. Hotel lovely and clean. Breakfast very good and loved sitting out in the garden for breakfast. Then at night relaxing in the bar or outside in the garden with the very kind and helpful Thalos bringing us our drinks of wine and Amoretto. Oh and not forgetting the crisps and peanuts. Thank you.

Beautiful location out of the chaos of the center but well served by the bus that allows you to leave the car in the hotel parking lot and comfortably reach the city center in 10 minutes. Rooms decorated with taste, as well as the garden, an oase of peace. The owner recommended great restaurants and given all the useful information for public transport. I definitely recommend the bethany villa for short or longer stays.

A beautiful period villa in a very beautiful area of Florence, 15' walk from Ponte Vecchio. Arriving by car the area is very convenient and parking at 5 euros per day extremely convenient; the nostea room, located in the villa adjacent to the main core, was beautiful, recently renovated with a very large and comfortable bathroom. Breakfast, full of both sweet and savory proposals, consumed in the beautiful garden, is a real treat. Friendly and professional staff. In our room I do not remember if the fridge bar was there or not or if it was empty; I recommend buying water on arrival at the front desk.
I go to Florence at least 5 or 6 times a year and I will definitely return to Villa Bethany. I forgot the right prices!

Just five minutes from the historic centre of beautiful Florence, this place captured Our Hearts.
From a chaotic intersection you enter a wrought-iron gate by accessing a park that completely clears the outside traffic. You can't even hear the sounds of cars anymore. You walk through a 200m entrance and you access the car park which costs five euros a night, then you can enter the lobby and immediately you are struck by the confidentiality and the absolute non-invasion of the owners really pleasant people And Available. The interiors are fully restored and renovated in a medieval style with beautiful stone walls face-to-face.
It looks like a small castle.
The room was spotless and the bathroom was also. Maybe the bathroom was a bit sacrificed but it fully fit into the rustic style of the property.
In the morning a cozy little breakfast buffet softened the awakening. At the back it was possible to bring the necessary breakfast and be able to enjoy the meal in a very relaxing shade area.
If we were to return to Florence I think we would return because we had a great time.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet position but close to centre of Florence. We were here for a wedding so only had 1 day to visit Florence, about a 20 minute walk into centre, to visit as much as we could. The room was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of choice at breakfast, although I will mention that on one day the soft boiled eggs were hardly cooked! I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to visit Florence especially if you are driving, as it is nigh impossible to find a central hotel with parking.

Hotel Villa Betania is a georgous property located in a great place, about 30 minute walk to downtown Florence. It's perfect just to take in the beauty Florence has to offer. Betania has such a cozy atmosphere, surrounded by nature. If you are looking for a quiet retreat, but still close to downtown town amenities, this is a good place. They even have a morning breakfast with delicious pastries and snacks. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They took great care to set us up in our rooms and even highlight things on the map to help us around Florence. The only cricisms I have are that the pillows were so flat, they weren't very usable and the air conditioning doesn't go below 23°C. It was too hot for us. Fortunately, it was cool enough at night to allow us to get some cool air in the room. I don't think it would be as pleasant on hotter nights.

Location not far from the centre of Florence, which is easily reachable on foot or by public transport. Not far from the exit of Firenze Impruneta, therefore convenient for those travelling by car. Very nice and friendly Hotel, with well laid out and bright rooms. Definitely a point of reference for those who want to visit Florence without the hassle of traffic. To come back.

A tranquil oasis within striking distance of the city. A beautiful property, comfortable rooms and a pleasant welcome. Breakfast was simple.

It's a great room and warm. I got a good services when I was sick. But, there is few buses to go to town.

Ideal Hotel.
5 minutes from the centre by bus. The stop is in front of the hotel.

The place is nice on its own. The rooms are huge, super clean, beds are comfortable and the hotel even has its own park. However, it is far from the city and the walk is 30 mins or more. If you wanna take a shower or just relax a bit to re-charge some energy and go back, it is a problem. There is bus which costs 1.20 if you buy a ticket at the hotel but it runs every 30-40 mins on weekends. If you have a car, the place would be perfect.

Tranquillity, warmth of a renovated and well-kept structure, the expected place to recover from days of walks in the centre of Florence.
It remains a pleasant feeling and a good memory of the permanence in the structure.

The hotel has a very nice garden, is well located, bus stops nearby, the rooms are spacious and clean.
With a little decoration in the rooms would be much more ecantador and cozy.

The hotel is set on a hill on an estate. Very relaxing and nice. Nice continental breakfast included. The cons are that you are dependent on bus 11, which can be intermittent, and the walls are a bit thin.

Personnel was friendly and helpful. Location was good especially if you have a car. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typical Italian Continental and good. Take their advice and walk to the city and ride the bus back to hotel. Will definitely return to this hotel.

Excellent address in Florence, in a quiet area. Very nice property. Excellent welcome, breakfast very good, and spacious room in a park. We have stayed there 3 nights and have had trouble leaving this place. On our 2 weeks in Italy, this is the best hotel where we went. Do not change anything everything is perfect.

Quiet place a bit out of the animation of the centre of Florence without being out of the way. Nice and quiet the garden. Breakfast is better.

We had a wonderful few days there recently. The setting was beautiful and the breakfast good. Very peaceful. Bus is also conveniently located.

The hotel is set in private secluded grounds. There is no traffic noise although you are very close to the heart of Florence. It is an easy 15 minute walk from the property into the City although there is also public transport right on the doorstep. Breakfast is provided in an ambient setting and the staff are polite and helpful.

Lovely place, friendly staff, beautiful surroundings. Breakfast could be improved, but perfectly fine (it is standard continental). All reception staff speak multiple languages, but some of the kitchen staff do not speak English. All staff very friendly.

A nice hotel in a very nice setting with a smiling and helpful staff. We were in the annex in a standard room quite correct. The breakfast is good and hearty.
The only downside is that the hotel is really out of the way: Contrary to what is indicated, it takes 30 to 40 minutes to reach the historic district and this climbs back! Certainly a bus allows to get closer but there are very few the We (1 per hour) and the last one is at 11pm.

Top and suitable for our baby. We had a baby cot lent for free for our 4 nights stay. The staff always ready to heat us our daughter's meals and bottles. Only downside no restoration may a delivery person spends regularly. I'm so glad you could stay.

The hotel is a lovely place, with a beautiful garden in peace. Ideal for resting after a day of sightseeing in the very beautiful city of Florence.
We join the center in 10 min with the bus, super convenient!

Good morning, our stay at the Hotel Vs. Was really pleasant. The room is very nice and the bathroom is very comfortable. Very convenient location to get to the tourist area with the bus a few steps away. Staff available at our request. To appreciate the comfort of the parking that in Florence is not always located.

Hotel sensacional. A propriedade é digna de 5 estrelas, com um grande jardim arborizado e cheio de flores. O edifício é estilo antigo, porém todo reformado. Quartos novos e modernos. Cama confortável. Staff atencioso. Relativamente próximo ao centro, dá pra ir a pé numa caminhada de 2 km, ou ônibus. O café é simples mas é bom, padrão europeu. Hotel me surpreendeu positivamente. Ótimos preços pelo que oferece.

Very very nice Hotel! Beautifully located. Even though it's very near to Florence city center (about 15 minutes walk to Ponte Vecchio), it's located in a place that has a rural Tuscan village vibe. We got a reasonable price through Booking. Com for one night. I would gladly stay there again in a future visit. Recommended.

Staff seem serious but not able to solve problems. I explain. Just arrived, captured by news that same hotel parking is chargeable, we go to your room (nothing to say about the room, really nice) and we put our most important assets in safes. The night we needed to get some things from the safe and when you finish writing our code appears an inscription '' E-bar '' and no longer able to open. Then ask at reception if he could somehow aprircela and the guy wasn't required to have keys to the safe and telling us that you have to wait the next morning because who had keys was not available. And it wasn't so late were the past 11. Moral: don't put anything in the safe that you may need urgently (type: If I put some medicine that I would have to take compulsory to say at midnight as you could sort this out? ) and that is why, in my opinion, on this occasion is a lack of earnestness.

We visited in July 2013. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room over looking the front circle drive was excellent; bathroom was spacious, beds quite comfortable. Air Conditioning was VERY welcome. Setting was wonderful, quiet and serene. Breakfast was generous european style and available in outside back courtyard weather permitting. No elevator to 2nd floor — so mobility limited guests should advise hotel — there are some first floor rooms in main building and also, apparently, in rear building. For those comfortable with walking old city is a 20 minute walk downhill to bridges across to the older part of the city; public bus available. Europcar rental agency within walking distance of Villa Betania. Villa is outside of ZTL (limited traffic zones). Did not see many restaurants nearby — wasn't a problem for us. Would HAPPILY return again.

Excellent location for visiting Florence and other nearby cities of Tuscany because of its proximity to the motorway and the nearby bus stop, without all the noise of the big city.
