Absolutely wonderful La Gemma Hotel. The atmosphere so warm and personal, yet beautifully luxurious at the same time. The suite is simply wow — stylish, elegant, and thoughtfully designed.

We had the most wonderful time staying at Hotel La Gamma in Florence. The staff at the reception were very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived till the last moment we were there.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. A true gem. The staff are exceptional and provide genuine Italian hospitality. The hotel is elegant, pristine furnishings, and beds extremely comfortable.

Absolutely one of the best hotels in Europe. Staying here made me feel like I was in a 1500s Medici palazzo, but with all the modern luxuries of today.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing.

The location of this hotel cannot be beat. It is quite central, but on a relatively quiet side street. It is a 2-minute walk from the Museo Bargello and maybe 10 from the Duomo.

We loved this hotel and its location! Breakfast was very good and in a beautiful room. The staff were very helpful and polite.

Booked here because of a foot injury and wanted to be as close to the Uffizi as possible. What a fabulous hotel. Great accommodations, great staff, great location.

This beautifully decorated and sparkling clean hotel was an amazing oasis in busy Florence. When we first arrived our taxi could not even get down the street because of the crowds.

Our stay at Portrait Firenze was once again exceptional.

Super accommodation well placed for all major sights, restaurants, bars etc. We had the Tintori suite, which was spacious and comfortable with a modern bathroom.

The perfect spot in Florence for our honeymoon. Light, clean and comfortable room with a lovely bathroom to match. Near enough to everything you could want to see but the street is quiet.

Eleven elegant, quiet (even on this busy pedestrian street, studded with Renaissance sites) rooms in a beautifully restored palazzo.
Remarkably upscale hotel at a good price. Complete breakfast.

What an unexpected find in Florence!

Perfect location, very near the Ponte Vecchio. Rooms were very comfortable, good size, and had house keeping every day.
In an old Italian building but refurbished inside — design is very modern.

Very clean and secure rooms. Small elevator helps incase you dont want to use the stairs. Only 5 minutes from the Palazzio Vecchio and 3 minutes to the Ufizzi Gallary.

We had a wonderful stay and what truly made it exceptional was the staff. Alison at the reception was warm, helpful, and made us feel so welcome from the very start.

Everything was perfect, Room condition and size, Amenities, Location and The Staff were awesome.

In a great location! I reached everywhere by walking. The surroundings are very beautiful. Hotel staff are very attentive and helpful. The entrance of the hotel is fascinating!

A great location not far from the main square. A fair trek from the main train station especially when pulling suitcases through the cobbled streets.

Canto Degli Scali — WOW! Beautiful and convenient! The Apartments were very nice, well decorated and attentive to details. The location was SOOO convenient to everything.

Excellent appartments in city centre, parked in a quite lane. Old heritage building with morden facility. Great host.

Came from the US for our honeymoon in early March and rented from them. I don’t have a single regret! The hosts were very easy to work with.

This is a small quiet hotel right in the centre of Florence. We had a large comfortable room over looking the main street.

Location is great, rooms are great, functional AC, great water pressure on showers, hotel is a FANTASTIC option if you are looking for a place to stay in the heart of Florence.

Spent 6 nights at Casa Thiele and enjoyed it very much. Antonio and Daniel were so nice, can’t say enough good things about those two. The breakfast was very tasty and loved their espresso.

Casa Thiele was our first stop of our first trip to Italy, and we were initially daunted by the lack of hotel elevator, which presented a challenge to our 70+ year old legs.

This place felt like such a hidden gem! The rooms were large, very clean, and the decor was charming and traditional.

The best place you can stay in Florence. The room was cozy, the location was perfect, the homemade breakfast was incredible.
