Beautiful Hotel, we booked last minute & upgraded at no extra charge, the staff are very professional & courteous, our view of the river and it’s surrounding are spectacular!

Great place to stay. Location and accommodations are wonderful.

We loved staying at Hotel Balestri in Florence! The staff was very friendly and helpful for everything we needed. Great breakfast each day! Our room was great, nice shower and we had a balcony we sat on each night and enjoyed the ambiance.

The location of this hotel is perfect. It is located in the city center of Florence. Walking distance from a lot of the main attractions. Surrounded by restaurants, pizzerias, and souvenir shops. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are super clean and it seems as if they do housekeeping twice a day there. After the room was cleaned in the morning, We took a nap during the day. Went out, came back and the bed was redone. The continental breakfast was delicious. A lot to choose from. Highly highly recommend this hotel.

Definitely the best position to everything and a balcony room is a must.

Very nice hotel on the river with prime location for exploring the city of Florence. Walking distance to all of the major sights, shopping and dining. Staff were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome as we were visiting the city on our honeymoon. The room was clean and the breakfast was above average. Correctly rated a 4 star hotel. Overall, we had a very nice stay in Florence and would recommend the Hotel Balestri.

Very nice place. Do not hesitate to book. A terrace on the top floor with exceptional views. Beautiful performances.

Positives of this hotel: an ideal location, modern rooms with a well appointed bathroom (a rare find! ) and idyllic views of the river. Cons: The level of service provided is not what you expect from a 4* hotel, no facilities to even be served a coffee at 3pm in the afternoon and rude staff. Parking costs a hefty €35 a day through the hotel and the valet takes 30+ minutes to return your car.

Great location to walk around the city. They had a bottle of wine waiting in our room with strawberries wishing as a happy wedding anniversary on arrival. Stunning views and beautiful room!

The hotel is in a perfect location and offers a somewhat expensive but reliable parking service. Attention a normal car costs 35 not 48 EUR. The hotel is very nice and the superior rooms with roof terrace have views of the old town and across the river. Gorgeous! — > > beautiful rooms!
Unfortunately, there would be very annoying noises from the electric box in the wardrobe, which could not be remedied even after several attempts by the staff! There would be no compensation for that, not even an apology. A glass of Chardonnay 0, 1l for 12EUR in the bar is probably also a bit overpriced! I was generally disappointed by the service. After all, you leave a lot of money here!

A good elegant and well kept hotel in a strategic place, the panorama on the river is remarkable.

Really nice hotel. You can walk every touristic activities really close. Hotel nice, but there is lots of issues there. They take and copy your credit card and they have not well explation for that. They copy front and back which is I don't like. Even I was paid with my credit card.

An impeccable stay, with the Valentine package you are outdated and have made everything perfect. All the friendly, polite and professional staff, the hotel in excellent condition and in a very good location to be able to visit Florence in a few days. Nothing to say for sure I will come back here.

Loved being in a room with a view of the river and the beautiful Florentine architecture. Most of the staff is very friendly. The bellman should be promoted. He worked so hard. The front staff were kind and helpful. The English breakfast and the staff serving it were wonderful. Would stay here again if I had the chance.

Beautiful, great location in the center just a step away from the most beautiful places in the city. I stayed in the Deluxe room with a view of the Duomo, attention to detail and courtesy from privileged. Valid also the service of garage with which the hotel is affiliated, you forget the car and do not think more until the departure.

Excellent location. There are rooms offering great views. The breakfast is a very fine one. There is a problem with their heating system. The room and the public spaces are always a bit cold.

This was my favourite hotel of our trip around Italy. Huge room with a really comfortable bed and gorgeous bathroom. Immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Located right on the river Arno, 5 minute stroll to the Ponte Vecchio so within easy reach if all the best bits to see, yet very quite. With the added bonus of a sun terrace at the top for guests to gaze over the city.
Staff were absolutely lovely too. You'd be hard pushed to find a nicer hotel in Florence.

A very chic hotel, great service. It has a beautify Breakfast with excellent friendly service. Very close to the Ponte Vecchio on the Arno river. Easy walking to all the main attractions. Rooms are a bit small and the one we had didn't have a great view, wasn't really good for a lot of luggage, but the room was well organised with a great bathroom and lovely shower.

Excellent location. Staff really helpful, upgraded our room to a river view with balcony and gave us a bottle of bubbly to help us celebrate our honeymoon.

I stayed at Hotel Balestri the first week in May, 2017 with my Sister and Niece. From the moment we walked in the door we knew we were going to love our stay here. The people at the front desk are all so welcoming and make sure you have what you need. The day we arrived our room was not ready yet, so they put our luggage in a safe room, suggested a very awesome restaurant for lunch (La Buchetta) and made our reservation. Throughout the the week they always asked about o…ur day, experiences and helped with reservations to museums, restaurants and call for taxis. Our room was perfect, with an amazing view of the Arno river that we all will remember forever. We loved the breakfast each morning, greeted by the staff who brought our favorite cappuccino. The expansive selection of food was also amazing. Each night after dinner we would go into the lounge to relax before heading to bed. We got to know the sommelier (Vini) who was very fun, and knowledgeable about Italy and Florence, so we called him Vinipedia (from Wikipedia). We all loved our stay here and hope we can go back someday. Anyone looking for a great place to stay in Florence this is the perfect location to Florence City Center, museums and restaurants.

Staff is very energetic and friendly and speak English well and the hotel is very close to all historic landmarks and in walking distance.

Pipe broke and they moved us to another hotel that was awful. If they wanted to treat a guest right from an error on their part they should have sent us someplace just as nice if not better. Wish I could have stayed here but nope…

Last minute booking and we upgraded our room for a view of the Arno. We loved it! Florence is a magical place and the staff at the Balestri were professional, courteous and went above and beyond. Fantastic!

Great hotel. Was worth every euro. We stayed there for one night during march. Hotel is clean. Bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. The location is amazing, straight on the river, you get an amazing view. Staff is lovely, breakfast was great. Would love to stay there again.

The location is great, very close to the Centre in order to move on foot but accessible by car without problems. The staff are helpful and friendly, always ready to guide tourists on the right track. The room was very spacious and clean. If I return to Florence probably will stay again.

Great location, service, rooms, and staff. Stayed 5 nights with no problems. The front desk staff spoke excellent English and made excellent suggestions for where to eat.

The hotels location is great and the rooms are nice and not expensive but it is a little dark in the room there isn't enough lights and the bath tub is so slippery but overall it is a very nice place.

The staff was very helpful; the facilities wonderful; location could not be better.

Easy 5 Minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio and Vecchio Piazza. The staff is arrogant and aloof and seemed troubled to engage you in the slightest. The breakfast is good, but again the wait staff looks like you just woke him up! Rooms are large, but scarcely furnished. Our bathroom was a combination Shower toilette, which at first I thought was cool, but then the bathroom is wet and a pain for my wife to finish getting ready in. Not to mention the black soot falling from the ancient exhaust fan. I think you can find better accommodations for the money.

The hotel is very good compared to the price of the rooms: nice living room, spacious room with storage and bath, breakfast, good service. And plus he's super location: 200 meters from the Palace of offices, 300 of the vecchio ponto, we are delighted with our stay at the Balestri.
