Nice and friendly staff.

Friendly hotel, without any pretense given the paltry price paid to be in the center of Florence. Rooms are clean and air conditioned, very comfortable bed and breakfast included.

Simple and cheap. Beautiful rooms! Recommended.

Great location to visit the city center, without so many pretensions, or with rooms a little ' antiquated and some lack of services, but with pleasant and welcoming staff. I think it is the best hotel in the area for travelers to know and not on honeymoon, with cheap prices.

I stayed here and had the best time of my life. Carmel and Pink were wonderful. Il Bargelino is as full of charm as are it's owners and the city of Florence. I hope to be there again soon.

2 star hotel 3 star deserves and deserve maybe true. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff was courteous, friendly and helpful in providing various information on the town on arrival.
Recommended indeed recommend it for those of us who want to visit and experience the city close to everything without spending much.

We were booked in another hotel and moved to this one, it was small and noisy. Wifi did not work outside of reception and there was building works going on in the hotel.

This is a charming and rustic hotel that I absolutely loved! It's very ecclectic and funky and the owners were really helpful with getting me around Florence, which I got lost in anyway. The hotel is walking distance from the train and bus station and in to downtown. Try to get a room on the patio upstairs… they have french doors that open up on to a large terrace that has a wonderful open area to sit an have some wine or whatever you bring home. I didn't have one of those rooms at first, but Carmel (the owner) let me move into one when it became open. This isn't a luxury hotel, but it's cute, clean, comfortable and I loved all the funky furniture and art. Carmel and Pino were wonderful to me and we still keep in touch and I'm going back soon!

It's a hovel, the room was carpeted but it is not known whether carpet or dust. The bathroom door was literally a hole in the wall. We didn't dare to shower in the bathroom if the skin was falling to gibs. We had to fight for the plug that only worked one of the four in the "room", which was on the TV, that if had value to crouch down and put your hand under the table. Seeing it seems we did not stay us for breakfast. It does not deserve, nor a star site. I do not recommend it for anything, the location I think it is the only good thing that has.
