Great atmospheric hotel in the historic building. Very clean, stylishly furnished and equipped and within walking distance to the historic center of Florence. Great breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff.

Very well located Hotel to visit the main attractions of Florence. Good breakfast and good overall attention. We had hired if a room with private bathroom, but when we arrived, we found the surprise that this one, although it was private, was out of the room.

I stayed in Florence for business reasons and had decided to take a hotel downtown. The Hotel dei Macchiaioli is strategically located at two steps from the Duomo, the entrance is very nice, the rooms are absolutely impeccable, clean and with comfortable beds, the very good breakfast is made inside a beautiful frescoed room.
The only drawback that I would like to underline is the parking; Getting in the car until the hotel NN is allowed (absolutely right and in line with the historical centres of the cities of Art! ), and then you have to do about a km on foot, however the structure is in agreement with a parking that costs 25 euros a day even if the stop is only for the Night.
I would recommend it.

Very nice hotel I stayed for the first November Bridge with a group of friends. We had a great time. It was a very nice place to stay in the room and the staff were very friendly. Really a great hotel from which you can walk to everything you need to see. Very helpful I will definitely return!

Large room, very clean. Beautiful balcony with plants on the railing. No elevator, so a bit difficult to get bags up to second floor. However, staff was very helpful bringing them up and down for us. Museum on the bottom floor. Easy to get in and it at night. Very central location.

Home away from home! Great customer care, great location (literraly above a museum and next to a Medici palazzo), easy walk from Santa Maria Novella (train station), and most of the must-sees. Breakfast is buffet-based with a picollo taking coffee orders, great coffee and very good cakes (croissants were the only weakness)

The location of the hotel is great. It is very close to all the various popular sights as well as the train station. The room is spacious and clean. The prices are very fair and a good value but note that at least for the room I stayed in the bathroom was separate from the room.

Great hospitality just a stone's throw from the centre. Clean and spacious rooms, the only downside was the sunbed in the triple room, with the mattress dividing in two.

Incredible place to stay in Rome! Only few meters from Pantheon on a very quite street. It's an apartment-hotel, but, the receptionists and people running make it a very welcoming and helpful atmosphere. They even has great chocolates and afternoon reception for guests! There is no BF, but, there are many restaurants/cafes including a Tazza D'Oro Cafe within few meters. The room was very spacious, great beds-n-linens, incredibly clean and with a great modern bathroom. This will be our den in Rome, next time we go back.
