Lovely hotel, staff, breakfast, restaurant, location. Room a little small and toilet separate but private, but this is the architecture of the region so you have to accept it as part of the experience. Paying for parking was a downside but if you tell the parking attendant you get about 50% off.

Great location and good hotel. Very clean and decent for what you would expect from Italy. Only negative thing is the shower isn't the best.

Great location for a reasonably priced hotel as its a 1.6km walk to portofino lake. Clean and comfortable room and external private bathroom. Parking is close (€20pn). Good breakfast selection. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Perfect location a stone's throw from the sea and a short walk to Portofino. The breakfast was so good it kept us happy for most of the day. The room is simple but clean and comfortable and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

All very lovely, homely, clean and you feel like being at home. The staff are very friendly and efficient. I find ke is located in a strategic point overlooking the sea with beach access, close to Portofino and a few minutes from Santa Margherita Ligure. We had a great time.

Been in the restaurant of this exclusive hotel in February on my way back from Portofino. Even if it was low season, I've been charged 240 euro for 1 entree', one main course, a bottle of water and a glass of whisky. No possibility to order a' la carte for whatsoever reason. The waiter/manager blatantly spoke out the possible choices and then left me in the hands of one of the staff for entertaining his beautiful girl friend. Their plates were somehow ready before mine even if my order went to the kitchen 20 minutes before theirs. The top was having a 20cl glass of JW Black Label priced at 20+ euro. Italy presents several rip-off places but I would have never imagined to end up in one of them in such a renowned place. So far this has been my worst experience among wanna-be luxury tier service providers in my country. If you opt for this place for dinner, just be careful. Cannot comment on hotel.

We spent a lovely evening here July 2009. It is set back from the beach and it does offer Parking at a price a possible 12E. We secured a roof at the last minute for 130E — which I suppose was not bad for the area. The room was beautiful — but offering no view. The patrons were very hospitable and the breakfast as one might expect.
