Beautiful visit and amazing experience. This place has so much history. We loved it all.

Amazing experience! We booked premium experience with breakfast…best thing we could have done. Saw Sistine chapel without the crowds and then had a nice continental breakfast yum!

To see the painting, wall hangings and other works there are incredible. Although there was a lot of people it flowed very smoothly. It was thrilling to see a little history in person.

A little disappointed not to be able to enter it, nevertheless it is beautiful, incredibly beautiful ❤️

This museum has what I thought was an endless stream of artworks. It was amazing and beautiful beyond belief. Never have I seen finer art.

Beautiful museum, … The collections are amazing! How lucky to have visited it with few people. I had already visited it 20 years ago but I still find it magical.

Vatican is beautiful, but there is a lot of scammers who sell tickets for higher prices under the gates, they lie people that because is covid we must have reservation to get in to Vatican, and sell ticket's too museum for double price. Vatican should do something with them!

A unique experience to do absolutely if you visit Rome. The wonder of wonders.

Probably the greatest collection of renaissance artwork in the world. If you are
art lover, Michelangelo and Rafaello, you should book a tour. The museum is nice, great architecture and nice walks through several different buildings.

Admiring museums in this period is priceless! Very few people! It's really worth it for those who, like me, had never visited them before while living in Rome forever! We take advantage of the low turnout to make the most of the wonders of our city!

All very nice but I really liked Raphael's rooms and the one with the maps.

Unfortunately you can not recommend strong points of this wonderful immensity of art! Everything is to be seen… you have to have time…

We absolutely loved the Vatican museum tour, our guide was brilliant, highly recommended & worth every penny for a guided tour! Would love to go back.

This museum is the best I have visited so far. The collection of artefacts is simply great. Good insights into history and culture of the bygone era. One can easily spend 3-4 hours to complete the visit to the museum.

I was there 2 days ago but I’m still so excited I advise everyone to be there. Each peace is a great work of art it’s impressive and even details are amazing it’s really fantastic. Love it.

You can spend days weeks and even months there and you would still never see everything!
What a truly awesome experience I would recommend a guided tour as our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable which made the experience even better…

Wonderful experience. Loved it all.

This experience was horrendous. Go in winter. They cram everyone in like sardines. It’s actually pretty dangerous. It was insanely hot and the whole cover your legs and arms thing didn’t seem to matter. There were loads of people in inappropriate clothing. We were pushed through the Sistine chapel. It was hectic. You also can barely find your way out. I will never go back.

It is my first time very nice and above all I liked that there is a lot of security and it is very important for ourselves.

A must see but go early as ques are awful and you need hours to see it all.

Great experience with the great tour guide. Amazing sculptures, paintings, chapel and much more.

Wonderful experience. Get the Skip-the-Line pass as I literally passed over a hundred people and walked right in. I believe the audio guide is the best for this tour instead of a guided tour and wear comfortable shoes! There is a restaurant in the centre of the Vatican beside a huge metal art globe and the food is nice but pricy. Enjoy!

They say 20000 to 25000 people visit in one day. We paid 33 euros per person for guided tour, skip the line etc. We were like cattle being herded, extremely hot in there, you can’t hear the guide, too many tours going on at once. The guards were yelling at people in the Sistine Chapel but they tell us to be quiet as it is a place of prayer! Keep your money and use it for something else. There are pictures all over the web! I appreciate the art but the overall experience was awful!

Strongly suggest using a tour guide! We booked directly with the Vatican which contracts with Headout. We meet the guide outside and walk pad a very long line straight to security and into the museum. Roberta was very knowledgeable and had a wonderful sense of humor. It was great!

Walking towards the museums I was told by a guy who looked like he was from Asia that I needed to join a tour to get inside. I told him I had a tour booked already but he told me that I had missed that tour and the agency was gone in without me, I called the agency and they said that these street sellers do that all the time. Then the guy and his friends offered me directions to find the meeting point of that agency, all the directions they offered me was false so that I would be too late. I bought tickets sold to us skip the line tickets which when got scanned turned out to be fake. Maybe that's not there names because they had vanished too.
Why are these people allowed to operate.
Ruined our trip to the Vatican.
Having said that when we did get I to the museums the next day it was such a nice experience.

Three stars because it's five for the art and the Sistine Chapel, one for the "organisation". Do a skip the line tour (to queue in the skip the line tour line). The Sistine Chapel is worth every second of the wait, though.

The museum is fabulous and I would highly recommend you "skip the queue". We arrived and were in for 1pm, the queue oitside was already huge and in the heat of the day it must be horrendous.
I was so waiting to see the sistine chapel and was most disappointed by the long laborious sweaty walk to get there and then to be curtly silenced and ushered through so quickly was rather frustrating. We could only manage a quick glance round. To say this is meant to be the high light…
On the other hand the art work and exhibits are stunning. Overall well worth a visit.

How can I review something as magnificent and majestic as the exhibits of a world famous museum and where the Vatican is there amongst the select few at the top? A must visit place for anyone who visits Rome.
It’s rather crowded and that is a dampener. The headphone guides just can’t cope with such crowds. There is no solution for that. Unless the weather outside is so blustery that only the serious seeker would brave the odds. That’s a conundrum as the heritage needs to be viewed extensively.
