Staff was great, hotel was in the centre of the city in walking distance to everywhere, rooms clean.

Good location. Daniel was very helpful and provided us with much needed information. We were given a map of Rome on which Daniel highlighted all the good tourist spots and places of interest. We had a Deluxe room, which was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Overall, a lovely stay in Rome. Thank you Hotel Relais Dei Papi.

Room small. Hotel on 4th floor. But the desk help, Daniel, was the best I have ever had. He bent over backward to make our stay the best. Elevator from 1900 really cool.

I would not recommend this hotel! Although I give it a 1 star due to location and that the one staff member Daniel was extremely nice; however, we did not have interaction with him after the first day. The Rooms were oddly decorated with creepy puffy red material on all of the walls and old photos. The floor was a laminated material? (nothing like purple or anything on site) and VERY uncomfortably warm. The air conditioner did not seem to work in the rooms when they were on and the staff turned them up off so when you came back after a long day the room was awful! (We complained and they did nothing) To top that off we discovered our window had been wide open while we were not in the room all day. The staff also through away one of my sons souvenirs he had on table. The refrigerator did not work. The closet was so hot I thought it may start a fire. The bathrooms were beyond uncomfortably small. The towels seemed not so fresh! Our queen size been was two twins not even in height on a wooden platform. My sons slept on a VERY wobbly metal bunk bed set. The front desk never had anyone there! The breakfast was almost to the point where you questioned eating it (so we had to go elsewhere) and the breakfast room had all but one of the 10 tables stacked with others dirty dishes until we asked for one to be cleaned off! The wake up call for or flight NEVER happened! Not sure where the other reviews or ratings come from because this hotel was not at all close to 3 star!

The location is great, breakfast was good the rooms are ok glad for the Wi-Fi and air conditioning with this hot Rome sun. But the staff the staff here makes the hotel and the experience worth this destination. I read a lot of reviews before booking and the staff did not disappoint. They go above and beyond customer service from booking taxis, suggestions for great meal and tours. Great with children all the staff has been really lovely. They made our hectic Rome trip a little more relaxing. I would recommend this place especially if you never been here before.

Great little place to stay. Loved the location, the room, bathroom, breakfast and friendly staff. Just be prepared for stairs and don't be afraid to ask for the type of pillow you need. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel located a stone's throw from St. Peter's, inside a building on the 3 and 4 floor, I stayed at 3 where the rooms are quite clean and fragrant, unfortunately should be renewed in the furnishings, the Moquet and the wallpaper are not the top, the bathroom a little ' small, discrete sleep quality. Friendly staff, paid parking nearby. Very good breakfast.

Very friendly staff. His name is Josephine. He is very kind and fanny. He told us witch restaurant is best restaurant. We went to his recommendations restaurants. All restaurants were awesome! Taste and price were great! Also he told us witch tour is good. If you need to know about something you should take his advice:) Also room is clean!

Location is great. Room a little small but cute and decorated with attention to detail. Prices are very affordable. Breakfast is not great but still tasty. A recommendation: Do not travel by car. Parking spaces are only available at certain times and the Italians drive very bad car.

Great hospitality, the staff are very welcoming. The buildings and the rooms are beautiful, and the food is delicious. The hotel is 5-10 min away from the Vatican city, and 6 min away from a metro station — great location! We were given a map at the reception, and the receptionist explained how we can reach everything we needed in Rome. Overall, the perfect place for a wonderful vacation! The concierge is inside the building on the fourth floor.

Very nice room but I had a feeling of confinement with the tapestry of the room. A window that gives a view of the neighbors so no use. The most is the whirlpool that relaxes after a day of walking in Rome, the less the bedding made me very sore back because of its the nights were short despite the fatigue. I could feel the springs on my back horrible a hotel is first a good bed and after the rest it's more. For the price plus I'm pretty disappointed. A concierge at the entrance that tells us the floor of the reception and we mount our luggage of course it is necessary to give him a tip. Otherwise the hotel is very well located nearby, the Metro, the Vatican, the shops, a market.

Great position in Rione Prati, close to Lepanto metro station. Location is clean and quite polished for a low budget hotel. Breakfast ok but nothing special. Staff ok.

Free breakfast was really good. We stayed at dependence which is the same hotel but a block of over. This was our 2nd time here. Daniel is amazing and will try his best to help you with anything. Rooms are clean and some can be spacious. We had some issues with out room but it was taken care of fairly quickly. The hotel is near the Vatican and close to many local restaurants that are so much better than the ones near the tourist traps. Def was a great stay.

The hotel is about a 10min walk away from the Vatican. Many of Rome's sights are within walking distance.
The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet more than OK.
The only thing to criticize is the room walls of "cardboard" and the overzealous luggage rack, which literally tore the suitcases out of our hands to bring them to the room for a fee.

Great Breakfast, My room was tidy, clean but very small. Overall good experience. The hotel is 5 min walk from the Vatican city. I used the Hotel airport transportation service, fare price right on time.

The people here are very helpful except the one guy I think he's a concierge (he was bit rude to us as we were leaving) Not to let that dampen your spirit this hotel is such a germ in Roma and I attribute that to the staff. I like the little cards with the hotel details they gave us incase we get lost. We used them couple of times. Ohh and the maps with highlighted routes. They are few minutes walk away from The Vetican and ST Peters and within reasonable distance from most attractions.
I'll recommend them anytime. I stay here again when in Roma.

Accommodation located in a beautiful building, the elevator as often in Rome is very small and with luggage is not the best… Average rooms, quiet and large enough, breakfast OK. For the price paid it was a great solution.

The rooms are small, but very neat and clean. Well taken care of. Located within walking distance of many attractions and two metro stops. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Aways willing to help out with sights to see, walking routes, restaurants to eat at, and other helpful topics. We are very happy with our stay here.

My husband and I spent 5 nights at this Hotel in early August 2017. It was perfect. After a long flight we arrived at 9:00am and Daniel who was working the front desk gave us our room! The hotel was clean, the elevator was fun, the a/c worked during a record breaking heat wave. I would not hesitate to go back. It is in a lovely part for Roma, away from tourism but near everything.

Rooms are a bit smaller than expected. The shower very small. Everything was very clean and front desk very nice and professional. Closest train is 6 blocks away which is nice. Does not appear to be much parking in he area that is free as it seemed like pay to park.

You can tell the building was old but it was neat and clean. The bed was old and really hard. We could hear the people in the room next door talking. It wasn't the worst hotel I've stayed in but it certainly wasn't a 3 star hotel as I was lead to believe. The parking available is street front toll parking, good luck finding a spot. We had to find a garage 5 blocks away. Overall bearable but wasn't as fancy as it looks online.

Amazing little boutique hotel, stunning decor inside with fabric wallpaper throughout the room and in room Jacuzzi, Staff were amazingly helpful and full of information. Best hotel in rome by far, and amazing customer service.

The service and location were excellent. The aesthetic of the rooms and the breakfast area were a little loud, but not enough to detract from the stay.

Very good hotel. Cleaning 10.10 staff. Located in a strategic area of Rome close to piazza del popolo, piazza Cavour, Vatican etc. Minus the small breakfast room in which you are a little tight. Recommended anyway!
