Decorous and clean, but of low quality.

Great location and more than good facilities, from room to breakfast.

We have been to rome a few times, but the hearth is the only one we have stayed twice. All ways a pleasant smile from staff who are always ready to help. Great location. Clean. Modern. What more do you need.

Very good location. Nearby is the entrance to the Vatican. Clean. Change the bed and clean up. The room was warm.

Loved this hotel. Before we had even arrived they were very helpful and nice. They set up a car to pick us up from the airport. When arriving check in was fast and they were friendly. Our room was great! Big and clean! Plenty of towels, soap, etc. Great location too! I would recommend staying here and would love to stay again! (Full disclosure we were in the junior suit so I can speak on what normal rooms were like)

Hearth is a great Hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room is large with a queen bed and has a large bathroom with a shower. We're a 10 minute walk to the Vatican entrance. Oh, the free breakfast is pretty good too.

A good welcome. Very well located at the foot of the Vatican and more precisely at the entrance of the Museum. The bedding is comfortable. It just lacks soundproofing because you hear a lot of the road.

Excellent reception, location of the place is perfect, in front of the Vatican Museum, close to St. Peter's Square and a metro station. The breakfast and the room very good.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. My mother and I were lost in Rome waiting for a group Tour and we stumbled across this hotel and kindly asked for assistance via a phone call to our tour group as our phones did not work. The receptionist told me no, when my mother tried to ask she rolled her eyes at her and charged her 6 euros to make a 2 minute call.

Very nice hotel despite shady exterior. They have a pool and a wine menu to order from. Close to Ottaviano metro and Vatican City.

Booked directly from their website for a great rate. Good location just outside the Vatican wall. 24x7 front desk, clean and A/C room with fine shower, OK bed — — continental breakfast was very typical/good and the staff were friendly and helpful. If ever in this part of Rome would stay here again.

My rating is Because of the price, very reasonable, the desk agents were very nice and informative, having us picked up an dropped off was 53 euro, each trip. Hotel was covered from a convent, rooms are modern. But we stayed twice the second room had bad air conditioner, running toilet, but it did have private balcony. So give or take. I still recommend them they are literally in the shadow of the Vatican and shopping areas with secure parking about 5 min away.

We stayed here 2 nights. The staff is very helpful, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The location is pretty good, easy and fast access to buses and restaurants, ice cream and anything you need is close by. The rooms are clean and very spacious, especially the bathroom was huge and very modern. Breakfast is very good for Italian standard and also nice location with seating outside on a terrace. We loved the location because it makes you feel you are in the middle of Italian life but not being overwhelmed with noise and huge crowds. We will definitely be back once we visit Rome again.

Fantastic service, great gluten free breakfast buffet with a lovely roof top terrace. Spacious room and fab views. A stone's throw from the Vatican and walking distance from the river and all the top sites. Will definitely be back!

Hotel just outside the entrance of the Vatican. Rooms are clean, bright, and very new. Air conditioning is really too good. Breakfast is simple, weight is enough. 5-10 minutes walk from subway came about. Staff are very friendly and easy-going.

We had a brilliant experience in The Hearth Hotel. Lovely hotel beautifully situated with great staff in particular the wonderful Arianna. So knowledgeable, friendly, gave us the do's and don'ts and helped make our first trip to Rome fantastic. Thank you Arianna and we mostly definitely recommend this hotel and will be back again soon. We have chosen here is based on its comments and position, because we left early to travel to the Vatican, and the hotel is outside the Vatican walls. This is a family-run hotel is very lovely. Owner Guido and the other people at the front desk of the hotel is very good, very helpful. Our room and bathroom was clean, very comfortable. Excellent and elegant hotel, did not imagine was right opposite the Vatican Sistine Chapel. The front desk staff were helpful, business like and nice. Room was splendid. Note. It is EUR30-35 cab ride from Roma Central and cost EUR 50 (Govt rate) for a luxury cab to the Roma Fumicino international airport. I enjoyed my stay here in Rome.
