Great Location, Mixed Comfort.
The location is excellent, just a short walk to the Vatican, and the rooftop offers lovely city views. The hallway and landings are nicely decorated and inviting, which made a good first impression. Nico was a responsive and helpful host; he met us promptly when we texted 10 minutes before arrival and helped us store our luggage until the room was ready. He also arranged a taxi to the airport, which was appreciated.
The room itself was spacious but very basic. The bed was comfortable, but the bathroom had serious plumbing issues. Both the sink and shower required constant attention to avoid overflow, and the shower leaked persistently, leaving the floor soaked despite our efforts. The shower stall is also very small, tight for larger individuals. Only one small roll of toilet paper was provided, which felt inadequate and inconsiderate.
Inside the room, there’s a single step at the entrance that guests should watch out for. Overall, the location and host were strong points, but the plumbing and amenities need improvement for a more comfortable stay.
