Very well yes! Been to Rome 3 times, and every time I visit, I book a room at Hotel Oxford. Very friendly staff, very clean hotel and amazing brake fast. 5 stars.

Staff friendly and make stay memorable.

Only made aware of departure fee of 100e for a week stay at check out. Was told when checking in I had room with balcony a requested but the room did not have one.

We were a family of 8 and stayed for 4 nights.
Our family room was spacious, clean and our saviour great air con!
Staff were professional yet friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our 18 month old sons picky eating habits!

The room is very beautiful and cozy feeling and step away from the Vatican.

Cannot fault this hotel rooms are excellent and the staff are first class would and will stop here again and will recommend anyone visiting Rome to stop here.

I Have stayed here 3 times now and every time I am so happy with everything. The staff are always very helpful, friendly and courteous. It is centrally located within walking distance to everything. Best place to stay in Rome.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and good and varied breakfast. Walking you can easily reach Spain's square and fountain d Trevi (there's a bit to walk but doable) bus stop near the hotel to get to the nearest points to visit (Trevi-Venice-Colosseum fountain) advice.

Just back from spending our 10th wedding anniversary here. Lovely hotel and friendly staff, especially Luca who took the time to explain where to go on a map for us. We have done so much walking and think we have completed everything he suggested!

Very friendly staff, very sparse breakfast if you compare it to Spanish hotels. The very small room (330 and 332), are on the third floor with elevator only until the second, then a whole labyrinth of corridors and super narrow stairs, just pass the suitcases. If you find yourself someone in the face, then comes the problem. Cleanliness well. The photos that appear on the page do not correspond to reality. For me to understand this hotel should not be four stars, at most three and very tight. It's a little far from the center, but you can walk everywhere. If you like to walk.

Terrible. Defi widely not 4 star. Beds are terribly hard. No v8ews. Lift o my to 2nd floor. Need to walk up an extremely narrow staircase to the back of the hotel to the 3rd floor. Small rooms. Dmall shower. Need to get out to dry yourself. Very far from the main attractions. The reception and concierge very friendly.

Beautiful Hotel in a Great Location The staff are very friendly and helpful. Maurizio even helped my husband by personally driving him back to Termini to find a misplaced luggage.

Upon arrival a young slim man with curly hair and glasses greeted us, he was very informative and friendly. Great location the rooms are clean and modern fresh towels every day cleaner cleaned every day as well. The staff were fabulous and very friendly.
Great wine selection however we did get charged for 3 bottles when we only had 1 bottle, spoke to manager was sorted out next day.
They reserved table for us the food was perfectly cooked especially the lasagna,

Carpet on stairs could do with replacing threadbare!
The older waitress was very rude and very unfriendly she told me of for taking water to table for 4 of us. But there was not no sign to say you have to take glass to jug. A bit petty but a smile or a good morning would be nice.

Stayed here for 5 days, reasonably priced, in house staff attended to our room everyday. We had a basic room but clean, comfortable bed and decent shower. Hotel staff super helpful. Buffet style breakfast needs to go up a notch to get a 5th star from me, but I would definately recommend if having a short stay in Rome. Location about a 15-20 min walk to the Spanish Steps. Taxi averaged around €10 to main tourist areas not including optional tip.

Hotel built in an unlikely location even if close to the ring road and easy to get to. Main use business and meetings in the 5 halls. Nineties style with a few basic services and staff all in all quite courteous, helpful and young. Restaurant next door for those who want to wallow a traditional soft cuisine without the usual sophistication today. The place and the district are from typical Roman township without logistic services (bus, Metro). Just taxis. Very cheap, I would resort to you only with extremely low budget.

The staff is lovely and very friendly. Breakfast is very good. The beds are comfortable. It's clean. The area is very good, far from the tourist overcrowding. The only downside that the elevator does not reach the third floor, the hotel is a bit old and the wardrobe is very small. It's hard to handle the heating. It was too hot. Our room had no bathtub, just shower. Overall I would recommend it.

A bit dissapointing, staff very helpful and attentive, but hotel a bit run down. We were there from Friday to Wednesday and 6 stained mattresses remained in corridors for entire period. We only ate in hotel one night, food in restuarant was very disappointing compared to other local restaurants which we had tried and were very good. Service was very slow and waiter was not really sure what was going on?

Staff are very friendly and helpful, food is Nice. Rooms are comfortable and very clean but small. The hotel is central to a lot of the attractions. The lounge is small and not very welcoming.

I think this is my 10th or 11th visit here over the years and that says it all. Nice, clean rooms. Fantastic staff and they also offer a gluten free breakfast. Am seriously considering moving in permanently!

The 4 stars do not deserve it but still a pretty clean place and that's fine.

The hotel has had to know better times. The room meets the minimum requirements to go to sleep to a fairly neat and quiet place but the hotel, as a whole, would need a remodel. The staff was very helpful and attentive. We spent two nights there and in the two they had to change the electronic key because they didn't open the door. As we spent most of the day outside we also didn't require much more but the stars you have are excessive. In Spain would be a three star medium-low. It is located about 15-20 minutes walk from the Plaza de España and about 30 from Fontana di Trevi at a brisk pace.

The Hotel was clean and comfortable. They frightened the hallways with carpeting and the dark walls, with a tiny elevator and very narrow staircases. The staff of the hotel did not know Castilian. The cistern did not work and you couldn't give yourself a bath because there was no plug in the tub.

Small rooms, good housekeeping and bad deal… in Rome you can find something much better.

Hotel stayed still in the 1980s. Very poor room. I put 2 stars just because the staff at the front desk was very friendly.

Comfy hotel, not luxury but reasonable value for money, staff pleasant.

We stayed here for our honeymoon at the beginning of September. The staff are without doubt their crowning glory! Nothing is too much trouble and they are so polite and will go above and beyond in their service, I have genuinely never experienced such fantastic service. It is in a fantastic location, easily accessible for all the main attractions with the hop on bus just a ten minute walk straight down the road. It is also blissfully quiet at night in the rooms. We had the half board option and breakfast was great with a brilliant selection of hot and cold choices. Evening meals are also delicious, the main courses could have a wider choice, but that would be my only flaw I could pick. Wouldn't stay anywhere else if and when we return to Rome!

It's all about your expectations with Hotel Oxford. It's a great hotel that's situated outside of that typical city rush, which was perfect after a busy day touring the city centre. The hotel was clean and staff very friendly! I certainly would consider staying at Oxford again if I were to visit in the future. We had a excellent meal in the restaurant which I would thoroughly recommend.

Really friendly helpful staff. I didn't catch everyone's names but all were great. Luca went to the trouble of telephoning hotels with pools and checking prices for us. He couldn't quite understand why we wanted to lay by a pool when we had limited days in Rome — but after 3 days of walking and sightseeing we were ready for a lazy day at a pool. The rooms were spotless and the location of the hotel was good. Initially we thought it was slightly far out of the centre but after days spent in crowds and noise we appreciated the peace of the area. It only took 10 minutes to walk into the city, longer to get to the Spanish steps and Coloseum. The food was good. If you want ultra modern it is not for you but if you want quaint, small and quirky it will not disappoint. We would return and recommend to friends.

We stayed here at the end of July to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday. The hotel staff were always very welcoming towards us and on arrival gave us a map of Rome and explained where the sites were from the hotel. The city centre is with in walking distance from the hotel, along with public transport stations.
Air con was super and helped to cool us down quickly after returning from long days site seeing in very hot temperatures.
The room was lovely we did take our own tr…avel kettle and tea as there is no tea making facilities in the rooms and we're aware of this before hand.
We ate from the half board menu twice from our 4 night stay but that was through our choice of wanting to explore the city restaurants. Breakfast was filling with lots of choices. All the food was delicious and I do have to say they have the best scrambled egg I have eaten!
The restaurant is quiet and relaxing and all the waiting staff were very accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful experience we were sad to leave.

We had booked in this hotel for 5 days through a BA deal. The hotel is best described as dated, and wanting a refresh — nevertheless it was clean, staff very friendly and helpful making our stay pleasant. The rooms were comfortable to put up our tired feet, but by no means luxurious. I highly recommend skipping breakfast (you won't miss a thing! ) — there is a juice bar and cafe just outside, or a PAM local — with some fresh pastries. The location was very convenient, we weren't in the buzz close to attractions, but still well connected by bus, close to the train station and walking distance from the Metro. Every hotel in Italy charges something called as a city tax (6 EUR a night per person in Hotel Oxford) — so if you were unaware of this as we were, I would count this as part of the expenses to budget for.

This hotel is ideally located but is a little bit quirky — which some people will like. The rooms are compact but have everything you need. The bar is decent too.

Cozy and a short walk from Via Veneto and the Metro Barberini/Castro Pretorio! There are also apartments just a few metres from the property.

First of all a Hello to all personnel that was great. We had a great stay. Hotel very well located and quiet. Half board meals were very good and varied. We went from 9 to 13 May and we had a superb time to visit everything. The staff is very discreet while being attentive and caring. I recommend this hotel. In any case, I will return with joy. We had a room staff speaking very good the french.

Awful hotel I have ever seen in my life! You do not deserve 4 stars! Filthy room and towels with holes. Much ADO that you can't sleep. Empty fridge, even water wasn't there, being 4 star hotel at least in the fridge no water there was supposed to be there! I had to go out at 23 pm out to buy water. Shower didn't work and Wi-Fi that I couldn't in 24 hours to login, it used what mobile. Staff … it gets better! To time spent 180 € for one night to no avail!

Staff not helpful and city tax is an unpleasant surprise when you check out. We were charged €36. No kettle or drinking water in the room.

Had an apartment with 2 bedrooms booked with Wi-Fi and television. We got none of them, even if anderssprachiges television and the Hotel Wi — Fi. Nevertheless, we had up to then always a little run. Also, the staff at the front Desk was not very knowledgeable.

Nice hotel. Small, but we were comfortable. Nice breakfast and lounge, nothing large but clean and comfortable and well suited for travelers.

Me and my boyfriend stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The staff didn't understand English very well, which was sometimes annoying. Luggage was brought to the room by a bellboy, that was very nice. The elevator only went up to the 2nd floor, so if your room is on the 3rd floor you'll have to take the stairs. The room was nice and tidy, not very big but enough for a short stay. The bathroom was very clean and big enough, with a bidet. The breakfast was fine, but you have to pay for an omelet/scrambled eggs. Don't order your taxi at the reception because you will pay 10 € extra, which is probably just profit for the hotel.
