Good guys very friendly if you need a long-term anke room I recommend you expect you embrace open good holidays at all.

A part a misunderstanding due to language with a member of the staff all the rest was quite good the management of the hotel is young and quite nice and helpful and the rooms especially those are in the 6th floor are perfect. Great job from the hotel management.

What a great place to stay. We were close to the train station and walking distance to many of the local sights. The staff was very friendly and the elevator ride was an E ticket. Will definitely stay here again when we come back.

Stayed here in August for a little anniversary get away with my wife! On the whole we got what we payed for, we only payed about £320 for this plus flights for us both. The location is great, as its about a 2 minute walk from the Termini. Upon arrival we were greeted by a welcoming cool foyer as it was about 40 degrees! We got into the lift and went to the third floor, and were met at reception by a friendly guy who booked us in and helped my wife with her suitcase (the charmer) The room was small and basic but perfectly adequate with a clean comfy bed, decent sized shower wardrobes and air con. In the morning we went to breakfast and was happily surprised with it, fresh fruits and cereal, pastries and bread, meats, and teas coffees and fruit juice. So, location is great… Hotel is perfect for the cost and everyone we met were friendly and cheerful also spoke better English than I spoke Italian. So yes, I'd recommend this hotel if you want a cheap and cheerful hotel as a base for a sightseeing break Rebooked and returning next week! Taking our 10yr son this time!

Room and bathroom are quite small. Wi-Fi is very weak, I wasn't able to connect Wi-Fi, had to go to the reception area everytime I need to do something in internet. They don't have any single chair to sit on the reception area. Since, check in time is of 14:00, we arrived early, after long flight we hadn't even had a chair to sit down for couple of minutes. Breakfast options are very limited. They don't provide any kettle in the room. Breakfast room area is so small that u are pratically sitting next to the other table person. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is located very near to train station from where u can take intercity and local trains. Staff is very helpful and polite.

I chose this hotel because I had been given a wonderbox package. At first I was hesitant after reading some negative recision but instead I have to say that they were totally wrong. The hotel is located 2 minutes from the term station. Better you can not trains and metro a few steps away. Exit the station from the right side the first front route go straight and at the first intersection on the right. After 20 meters you will find the palace with the inscription Hotel Marco Polo. You have to climb to the third floor to find the lobby (In rome as in other cities some hotels are on palaces is normal on this there are awe three hotels. Let's talk about historic cities. ) the elevator is a bit tight there you are in two but it is very fast and once you take your hand there are no problems (possibly there are stairs but with suitcases it is tough). We stayed on the superior rooms on the sixth floor. Large spaces, freshly renovated, climate, TV, room fridge, breakfast in room (abundant with wide choice). The view is on palaces but we didn't care given the hotel's strategic location. Staff available, kind, professional, spaces in line with the rest of the hotel and everything well cleaned. I must fully thank Lorenzo for giving us a thousand explanations and modified so many things at the last moment, Cristian for patience even at night in giving us advice and Diego that the last day was very kind.

So our stay here wasn’t pleasant. Here are the pros and cons. Pros: close to train station, newly renovated 6th floor, clean, although the area wasn’t very nice we never felt unsafe but we were in most nights before dark, they stored our bags until we could check in, water pressure was good Cons: the lift/elevator didn’t work 2 out of the 3 days we were there and we had to travel 6 flights of stairs each time, the a/c was not cooling the room (we sweat through the first night) and when we asked about it they said no one else was complaining so we had to buy fans to help keep it a little cooler, sewage smell coming from the bathroom was HORRIFIC, shower ran hot then cold hot then cold, Wi-Fi was weak (although this my be a Rome issue), the walls of the room are paper thin and you hear EVERYTHING in the other rooms and hallway, breakfast room is very very small The conditions were so bad that we tried to book another hotel (at whatever the cost) but it was peak season and no rooms were available. Our travel company booked this hotel and we have advised them of the issues and we would never stay here again. According to other negative reviews if the hotel responds to this review it will be with nastiness. Just know that this is who you will be dealing with if you should have any issues.

Modern hotel, convenient to reach both from the Central Station termini (3 min walk) and from the airport by bus (20 min), very very nice clean, fragrant and the staff at the height of everything… Really good value for money too.

Located in the centre of Rome. Great for those who do not have their own vehicle… great service… clean rooms… even if someone old… in the Assembly more than good.

Hotel ideally located close to TERMINI station and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Home wanting to be funny but a little awkward. The superior rooms are comfortable, the breakfast brought in the room at the time of our choice and with the list of what one wishes is appreciable. The entrance to the hotel does not pay mine and is a little scary when you do not know. The night constant noise of ventilation and the only window that overlooks other Windows of dwellings (screw direct and close). Nice bedding.

The hotel is in a very servitissima area, my room completely renovated in modern style, quiet, clean, very good breakfast. The kids at the reception were nice and helpful. I hope I can still stay at this hotel.

The building looks pretty old-school but the location is central and accessable.

Rooms: Narrow little functional showers clogged tents dirty pillows uncomfortable staff: Sgradevo Little Welcoming the hotel: at 3rd 3 and new rooms at 6 small and dirty lift.

I didn't find myself well. I stayed with my wife, the staff was very friendly however the room was very small and with a very old furniture, the bathroom also very small and no windows. Not professional in the reception of reservations. Sorry to give a negative rating however I would not recommend it for a stay in Rome, at the same price I stayed at better hotels. The breakfast is acceptable.

The room was Piccolissia and there was also bad smell. The staff got it wrong to take the reservation. Breakfast was acceptable but nothing at all. The TV didn't work. I think it was one of the worst stays I have ever had. I don't recommend it. Rome is a beautiful city and you can safely find better hotels.

I stayed at this Hotel as I was given a smartbox. Bad experience: small rooms, small bathrooms, disorganization in the reservation, low-level breakfast. You can find much better.

Looks shady and it's not recommended to be outside post midnight in that area of city. Rooms are decent.

Location: Is still good, as the main train station "Termini" is a short walk away. However, several minutes away from the sights.
Rooms: Clean But quite cramped, windows could not open for airing, as a very unpleasant smell of the indwelling (fried food). Bathroom was still i. O. Except for the bath towels that were dirty. Very leaky room. They heard the staff calling as well as the children and the chairs that were being pushed around.
Staff: I had contact with the employee Diego via email and telephone. He has advised me very well and is a very sympathetic man. The rest were, however, very unsympathetic. At check-out we were not even asked how we found it in the hotel, nothing. Not even a real "goodbye" has come. Really disinterested — sad.
Breakfast: All suitcases are deposited in this room before you can check in at the hotel. In my opinion very unhygienic. The food was then automatically passed to me.

Hotel more than BOF… pitiful lunch… there is almost nothing to eat without laughing! The rooms… Luckily we were there just to sleep, because smells foul, poorly insulated.
The location is normal, we are to the station but to redo I will not choose here. Conclusion: More than BOF!

I came up with a boxing Wonder I had to pay extra to have a room and not a cell that we were offered the never seen in a hotel even the hotel F1 is luxury next I warned them for all baby who was still not deposited at the return of our res Taurant at 10:30 am unacceptable more breakfast and not extraordinary and the reception no more in addition to this the elevator is very small it looks like a hen cage I nerecommande especially not this hotel with a couple who have strollers or a stroller Frankly there is better hotel in Rome I do not recommend.

Decent hotel, small room, smaller beds. The beds were very hard, the pillows were uncomfortable. I don't know if it's a European thing or what, but sheets only on the bed. The AC didn't seem to cool the room down much either. The breakfast was ok, but in a very small area, so we ending up standing once. If you don't get there earlier enough everything is picked over. It wasn't easy to find the hotel at first, but had great access to the train station, it's only good quality. Very very sketchy area. I refused to walk outside after dark. Transient central. The train station actually turns into an area for homeless to get food, which is great that they have access to food, but in an area where there are so many people and lots of kids and singles, it made me uncomfortable. No Wi-Fi in the rooms, we didn't know there was Wi-Fi at all until the second day. This made the first day a bit difficult trying to find a place where we could look up our itineraries. Very small elevator, so we hiked up the 6 levels, which doesn't sound like much but when you walk 8-10 miles a day the last thing we wanted to do was takes the stairs. We stayed in a great air B and B over by the Vatican area that I preferred MUCH better than Marco Polo. Our city view or courtyard view was actually the side view of another a hotel… I wouldn't recommend this hotel, nor would I stay here again.

They overbooked and sent us to a different hotel, same stars but much lower quality. In fact the rooms at Marco Polo were 240€ while the hotel we were sent to was 80€ the night. The thing is, we demanded a claim sheet, but they didn't give it to us and we were treated very impolitely. The workers at the hotel do not speak a word of another language apart from italian so communication is slow and difficult. I do not recommend this hotel. Book here at your own risk, if this happened to me it can happen to you too.

Very nice place to stay in Italy. Everything is close by, train station, turoist attraction.

Decent location-20 minute walk to the Colosseum and many other common attractions are just as close. Two blocks down from the train station. The rooms are decent for the price point-smaller than average hotel rooms, but they're equipped with a mini fridge and enough storage room to fit at least one suitcase and multiple smaller bags or anything else that might go in a shelving unit. Didn't use service much, but receptionist was very helpful with anything we asked about. It's not luxurious, but would definitely recommend if you're on a budget.

First time in rom — all the family 4 adults whith 4 big trols-and we came at 10.00 am. In the moment we came to the hotel — we get full attention, ferst thay make the room valuable than aware day the room was kept clin even thay make over clouds, hot wotre all day — and moost of all being ther for as in all the little questions that tourist need to know in a big city like rom-24h a day. Near Termini Station.

Hotel not terrible It is located on the third floor in a building the rooms are small and ugly the neighborhood no The only thing positive is the reception they are nice close to the Termini station.

Hotel on the third floor of a period building very close to Termini, metro, buses and taxis. Clean and well-appointed rooms and bathrooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful and helpful for any request. The only council is a refreshment at the hall of the palace that houses you. More than favorable judgment. I'll be back.

Excellent location. The Hotel is very well located, has all kind of services nearby, including a laundry. All kinds of restorantes, verdurerías, a spotless and stocked mini supermarket. Close to the metro and public transport. My family was very happy to stay in Marco Polo Hotel. Rooms very spacious and very clean and friendly employees. Is one of the few hotels in the area that allow you to travel with families. We are 5 and it is very difficult to find this type of hotel with these features.

Wi-Fi doesn't really work very well, and you have to pay a lot. They over booked and had to kick a German family out to fit us in. The breakfast that is provided was withheld from us becuase we were a big group and they were saving it for the other guests even though we paid for it too.

The rooms were not to bad but it was in a dodgy location and the staff were rude and unhelpful. Someone in our group didn't get their room until nearly 18 hours after we arrived. Mainly it was the dodgy location that made it bad.

On the third floor, there is only one small elevator particularly dirty hotel. You can only check in at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, not in advance. Sheets are not changed, and have terrible taste. Reception staff was very friendly, room was very small.

They were very accommodating. We got to Rome before check in and they keep our bags there while we were out seeing the sights and placed them in our rooms before we returned. They even told us that if we needed to keep them there while we finished sight seeing it would be fine. Room was clean and quite though we noticed an odor when first we entered. My daughter told me it's from the old pipes in these old Rome bldgs. But over all we had a good night there.

Definetly the best place in Rome. A few second off by the main station Termini, with best staff and lovely service. It will bring your Hotel exprience to a new level. Definetly recommend it.

Experience not to repeat!
We chose this structure on the Emozione3 casket as close to Termini station, and actually it's around the corner! From the beginning I realized that there was something wrong: I call to book the room and tell me that there are no more standard rooms available for that weekend and that, adding €25, 00, we could have however stay in the superior room, and up to here nothing Strange, booking only 2 weeks before may be not to find a place! Recall, and another offers me the Superior room for €10, 00 more (so not already €25, 00! ). At the third call, talking to a different third person, this asks me €15, 00… now I wonder: But the superior room should not have the same amount? How come all this difference? Cmq OK, go for the superior at €15, 00. We book with the site of Emozione3 and I get a confirmation email for the overnight stay in a STANDARD room (without any added money! ). I speak again on the phone with the reception and tell me that the mail is not a confirmation but a request… seems already a bit ' too messed up for my taste! In the Emozione3 casket it was specified that the hotel would give 1 bus/metre ticket per head. But when we ask in reception, they tell us "that we should not believe everything that is written in the casket… ". But how? We chose that structure also for the ticket since the daily in Rome costs well €6, 00 apiece!

I've been to marcopolo hotel for two days, I had a great time. The room was clean and spacious. The pleasant and helpful staff. The location has encouraged my move. When I return to Rome go there with pleasure. Surely.

I've been in many hotels, but this one is on the average of the good ones! I firstly received a good quality service, Diego and then Lorenzo they explain how to reach the rome's monuments, they gave me a map. In conclusion, my japanese girlfriend Yukiko was more than happy, room was tidy and clean, great location at good price! I advice this hotel to all tourist.

A super 3-star hotel! The rooms are newly renovated and clean! Breakfast is good. There are sweet and salty, coffee and much more. The staff is very polite and helpful! The most important is the location of the hotel: directly at the railway station (Stazione Termini). Well located and connected with all means of transport, Metro, bus! I recommend it! This is a good hotel, nice and clean and comfortable, we made a good choice staying here. The room was very clean with brand new furniture and bathroom too. Location was the best for reaching termini station (its just around the corner) staff were friendly enough to us, clean towels and maid service every day. Good powerful warm shower. On our day of departure, check out was at 11:30 am but our flight wasn't until later so we asked if the staff could keep our bags and this was no problem. We will be back Marco Polo.

We arrived to the "Hotel" at 2 pm and the staff was very rude. I had a reservation and was told that check in was at 1 pm. The receptionist, Diego, took my payment for the 3 night stay and then informed us that we had to spend the first night in a hotel "around the block" This was an inconvenience and we requested a discount but they would not give it to us. They helped us with our bags to the other hotel but it turned out to be a smokey, filthy, room in a hostel 4 blocks away! There was no bathroom in the room. They said it was air conditioned but there were people smoking right outside the room. I ended up cancelling the reservation, as they could not accomadate us. Their excuse was that they were doing renovations and the water in the room we were supposed to have wasn't working. We ended up getting a lovely hotel across the street called Hotel Marghera, which I highly recommend. The price was only $20 euros more. I also found out that the cost of the hostel room was only $60 euro a night! Hotel Marco Polo is not really a hotel but a pension. This is a floor of rooms in a building with other pensions. Save yourself the agony and do not stay here.
