Classically decorated and furnished, very helpful staff, massively convenient location (walking distance to the Colosseum, Vatican, Spanish Steps etc. ), inviting lounge, and very comfortable rooms. 6 out of 5, would stay again.

Hotel very clean, very old fashioned.

No tea/coffee facilities, barely working fridge, stains on the walls, hard beds, shower door that wouldn’t shut and covered the bathroom in water, toilet rolls not replenished, towels minimally replaced, very limited breakfast choices. We left a purse with driving licence in and the hotel found it but refused to post it to us — told us to get a courier, costing £75 minimum. Do not stay here!

Had a really nice stay, very friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was not very Anglo friendly and the novelty of ‘continental’ breakfast soon wore off (hotdogs and mixed veges were a step too far for me) although cereal, pastries, croissants and pancakes were always available. The room was small but comfortable and very clean. The lounge was very luxurious and the bar excellent value compared to most of the rest of Rome. Would recommend this hotel without doubt — but a room upgrade might be recommended — purely due to size.

Friendly helpful staff here at the Andreotti. Breakfast is all self-service, cereal, cake, toast, ham, cheese, fresh bread, eggs to name not all & the staff were replenishing & clearing tables constantly… We were here for 3 nights, the proximity of the hotel is situated just a 5min walk to the train, bus & metro station… we used the metro to travel the few stops to the Vatican city etc. An all round excellent stay! Friendly staff, decent location. It's a 10-12 minute walk from Roma Termini and a 7 minute walk to the metro. The first room they put us in was tiny, no room for luggage. We asked for a bigger room like the one the other folks in our party got and they kindly moved us. The Wi-Fi wasn't always working well. The breakfast was tasty, but they put out reheated eggs and rice. It wasn't always fresh. They didn't have bread on our last day, it arrived late I guess. I asked for an iron and the front desk staff said they only had one and it broke a few days ago.

Wonderful place! Friendly hosts and good prices. The rooms were cosy and incredibly clean. Think I would stay there again next time I visit Rome.

Where do I begin? The room was extremely small, the room smelled dusty and moldy. We tried to book a new hotel after 1 hour of checking into the room but the manager refused to give us a refund. The breakfast was good. The Wi-Fi did not work so I had to go out to the lobby just to use it, and even then it was still poor. The shower was so small you couldn't even move around in it so we had to leave the doors open which soaked the floor. We ended up booking a hotel in Venice for the rest of the trip.

The staff at breakfast was terrible. I grabbed a plum on my way out of the dining room and immediately got yelled at by the staff saying that they needed to check my bag and that I was stealing from them. It was outrageous. One of the staff members stood there for 5 minutes just yelling at me in from of the whole dining room. I just couldn’ believe it. It really ruined my day and it was just disgusting how I was treated. In addition, the showers are insanely tiny. I’m pretty small and I could barely move around. The smell in the hotel is also quite off putting in a lot of areas. Some of the staff spoke English, but for the most part nobody else on the staff would even attempt to speak with me. Just a generally bad experience and I would not recommend it to anyone!

Top top hotel. Excellent location, extremely polite staff, outstanding choice of breakfast — all combined to make our stay in Rome an unforgettable one.

Let me start with the positives. The hotel is close to a few metro stops and the Termini station. Very close and convenient. The hotel staff was helpful for the most part Now the negatives. The hotel smelled of smoke and our room smelled of mold. We elected to leave the hotel a night early and sleep at the airport. The shower was dirty and there was mold everywhere. I do not recommend ****update*** I attempted to upload photos of the dirt and mold but I guess the photos are under review… take that for what its worth.

We found it very good even if we only stayed one day!
It is close to Termini station and very practical and quick to travel both by Metro and bus.
Staff very friendly and attentive to the needs of the customer… recommended!

Delicious breakfast, good rooms, artistic hotel, The location is not bad, close to roma tirmini 3 min by walk from hop in hop off, in total good experience.

Great Hotel
So the hotel is very well located in the heart of Rome not far from the Termini station, and next to the main tourist places with a bit of walking anyway!
The hotel itself has a somewhat dated appearance at first sight but that's all that makes its charm. Everything is very well maintained from the lobby through the reception to the rooms.
The receptionists are very friendly and helpful having always smile and nice words as for the frames they are impeccable old Deco but it feels good to change a little trip in the trip itself! Clean Question It is blameless every day the rooms are combed fine sheets changed etc. The room for two is spacious and comfortable with a complete and well equipped bathroom. The breakfast is just as excellent with a laaaarge choice of hot/cold drinks from fruit pastries and other hot dishes brief a necessary treat before you survey the touetisqurs places of Rome crowded with people!
For this 3 stars I had a big blow gets heart and its value for money is above our expectations go ahead!

The hotel is located in an area extremely convenient for travel. Close to Termini (5 min walk) and to Castro Pretorio Metro station (5 min walk). There are bars, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. A little for all tastes and pockets.
The staff is very friendly and efficient. The room (single) was big the right one and I found it clean. However require of a "refreshed" quite radical. For goodness sake, there is the necessary and everything works but if you like the modern furniture is not the structure for you. The breakfast I found good and varied, both on the sweet and salty.

The hotel has a retro décor with red and yellow colours, a stone's throw from Porta Pia and several very tasty places to dine and reach in less than 1km on foot. If you ask for a quiet room if possible you are satisfied, mine was and although I had booked a single I was given a triple. Breakfast payable apart for €5 if not included in the overnight package. Good and varied both in the salty and in the sweet because of the many foreign guests. Only sore note Wi-Fi, which unfortunately works very slow. However overall met my expectations. To try Again.

Great location, just a few steps from the Castro Pretorio metro station.

I stayed for three nights with the only breakfast included and I found myself well:) Apart from the above breakfast that could slightly be more varied (nothing of that! The breakfast provided by the hotel already goes against several multi-ethnic needs. And that I simply preferred even more varieties) the rest I found great. Location (few minutes walk from termini), nice rooms, tidy and always clean! The staff was very friendly and helpful. A great stay in Rome also thanks to them! I will be there again:)

Loved this hotel. Close walk to Termini Station, clean rooms and friendly staff. Our room window could open for fresh air. It is nicely decorated and we loved the old school elevator.

I loved it, clean, quiet, very warm water in the shower, the spectacular mattress did not sleep also for a long time. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was great and the breakfast was excellent. I will return without hesitation.

Plus points, well located near to the central station, breakfasts could be nice, friendly staff. Bad points, room was decorated with plush fabric instead of wallpaper — dusty, dark and stained — not nice! The bed was like sleeping on a plank of wood, bed coverings were of doubtful cleanliness. No tea or coffee provided in the bedrooms, and that from a 3 star hotel. The breakfasts while potentially nice suffered from tea, coffee and pancake machines on the blink and the fruit juice not filled up with no staff around to fix. So three nights, 1 good breakfast. I wouldn't go back.

Very out dated. Very small room. Was told on site breakfast was included, was told to pay 5euro for it. 3 difftent size eu plugs in the room which didn't work. Got electric shock off one. Only plug that worked was in the bathroom above sink which was extremely dangerous. Foul smell from bathroom. Couldnt open window as foul smell came in from kiychen vents. Our window view was looking into a dirty courtyard. Old car bins, rubbish in it. Horrible to say the least. Dust all over "padded"wallpaper. Stains on lightshades. No light switch to turn lamps off. And one lamp not working. No iron or trouser press which was supposed to be in room. Also stated there was tea/coffe making facilities in the room. Only thing in the old non working rusty mini fridge was 2 plastic cups and a bottle opener. Shower was extremely small. Mould all around it. Bathroom was soaked everytime it was used. Toilet kept running the whole time Would not recommend this hotel at all. To be a 2 star hotel is awful.

Great facility, excellent service, well made and well appointed rooms, cleanliness OK! I would go back without any doubt.

Staff at the hotel are lovely, rooms are always clean and tidy when you get back after a day out and the breakfast has enough range for everyone. Only lost 1 star as depending on where your room is it can be a bit noisy with the windows open as there are bars etc near by.

Ideal for trips to Rome in couple or family romantic classic style. Quiet, great deyasuno and very friendly.

Small cute hotel, very centrally located. The rooms are very comfortable. Not all are refurbished but still OK and above all clean. Breakfast could be a bit richer but is acceptable for the price.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 days. The hotel is very dated and not well kept. Our room was hot the AC hardly worked. I asked the front desk about it I was told the AC works. The refrigerator was very old and didn't work. The bathroom was small and dirty with mold in the shower. The bed cover was old and brown on the back side. Our room faced the street, we tried to open the window for air at night but the bar across the street is very loud. The staff was nice until you ask for anything. It was a step above camping in a tent. I would not recommend.

Excellent hotel, well situated near the Termini train station. Breakfast is buffet style with a wide variety available, all lovely. Rooms are clean, well laid out and excellent ensuite facilities. The lift is open and very striking, and the decor in general is very beautiful.

I stayed here for business trip. Nice hotel, location is amazing and cost is ok. Breakfast is good and you can repeat as many times as you want. My room was nice and was really in harmony with the city: wooden floors, huge bed, old style furniture. Take into account that this is an old palace in the center of Rome and it has to be adapted to be an hotel, which is also the charm of it! Wifi is fast.

Hotel is nice. Elevator was small, old and unique. Room was adequate, but beware, the shower is small. Would be nice if they put some shelves in the shower to put soap o. So you don't have to contort to pick up. Only had breakfast once and it was nice. Staff was very nice and helpful. They helped arrange us a ride to the airport at 3:30AM as our flight left at 630. If you're looking for a place to shower and sleep this place is perfect. After all, in a place like Rome you don't spend a whole lot of time in the hotel anyways.

Very warm and beautiful hotel.

Close walk from Termini, and a perfect central location from all of Rome's attractions. Staff are very courteous, rooms are clean, and the ambiance feels very authentic. Breakfast is included which wasn't offered frequently on our trip, great to take advantage of. Area wasn't the cleanest part of Rome, but the people were nice — never had an issue.

Hotel booked cm gift. But completely disappointed by things said by ki there was and Anke from photos. Starting with the elevator nn, account shall be taken of people with disabilities or people ke travel CN heavy luggage, the bathroom very narrow shower and courtesy service CN does not exist. Bad rooms and old CN lights ke nn they worked. NN there is room service. I had booked xke I knew I had to give the people a Kui ke holiday worship the ancient genre … But it seems so fake tt qnt nn cmq ke room you see is … in my opinion the price paid was much higher at CS found in hotel … Maybe you should revise the price or downgrade.

Great little hotel to spend the weekend in. The place was very clean and tidy, staff were more than helpful. 5 minutes walk from Roma main Termini. Breakfast was very decent also. Would definitely stay here again.

Hello my review is completely negative in this hotel disappeared me my coat from the closet of my room after staying three days and after talking with Manager tells me that you can do anything that we denounce the police, this is a shame led me in Rome a bad impression I didn't like anything cone treated us. By the way I put complaint to the carabinieri.

Our room was comfortable, but unfortunately a little close to a bathroom and something else that people came in and out of that made it noisy some times. There were a few things in the room that could have been touched up to make the room a little nicer, but it was okay, as we were out and about, rather than stay inside.

Stop here for many years.
And always here is a wonderful atmosphere and attitude to us personnel.

Air Conditioning Ducts full of DUST & BLACK MOLD, from lack of maintenance. SUPER SLIPPERY floors in shower & lavatory (Wall Tile installed as floor tile). NON FIRE RATED DOORS in Main Stairwell did not fully close. No handicap access @ main entrance. RECYCLED FOOD (Eggs, Beans) served "Fa Fredo" from prior day, Eat after 8:00 AM when they serve fresh made food. Visited September 2015

A lady at the front desk I treat rudely from the first moment you not replied the bongiorno, and started the conversation in English. When I ask information about taxis said to me in English and raising the hands I dont know. Only by this detail it would not return to this Hotel and Rome.
The city Rome disappointed me and the manners of the majority of Italians also.
I'm Spanish and my Canadian wife do not believe that it has been treated of discrimination.
