Decent hotel, with lovely big windows and air conditioning. All the basics are provided and it is in a good location, very close to the station and within walking distance of most of the attractions.

Not to advise for a 4 * * * * it's really not that 2 * * Maxi. Air conditioning very noisy, smell in the room coming from the bathroom. Finally bathroom shower cabin of 50cm on 50cm toilet or one should sit down otherwise the knees smash the shower cubicle.

Hotel "4" stars in Via Gaeta, the room was small but given the relationship between the cost and the position I would consider it a good compromise, pity that:
— Although the hotel is rated 4 stars the room does not have any amenities apart from a bar of soap and a single dose of shower foam, everything else is paid.
— My room was not efficiently conditioned, the first evening the air conditioner was not right, the second the conditioner went only for a few hours since, as stated by the receptionist, the air conditioning only lit from 14 onwards.
— The hotel does not have any service, the only thing present is a vending machine in the lobby.
— Breakfast is quite poor compared to an average four-star hotel.
— The only positive note was the fast Wi-Fi in the rooms and in the lobby.

The room was very small and the bathroom was clean.

It is a hotel to my taste sadly, receptionists rude, rooms dirty and not changed the sheets which by the way the quilt this picoteada and broken, beds uncomfortable and rompian easily, bathrooms disgusting, the rooms with bath tub looked piping oranges and finally to emphasize problems of light and water.

My room is too small to accommodate the double bed that instead they have entered; Practically there is only a small space around and a fridge cabinet placed in the window's setoff; The two small closets hangers, then, do not depart from the ground (below are the bedside tables), for which they are also practically unusable (in one the fastening axle of the crutches is located to more than 2.5 m of height…) ; Even the bathroom is too small for the sanitary fittings installed, the door opens banging on the bidet and the WC is too close to the washbasin; The TV (small, otherwise there would be no entry) has only the channels of digital TV free (to be honest, I have to clarify that looking at the plan of the plane, I found that I had assigned the smallest room available, all other They are definitely more spacious than the one I described). There is still a fridge without freezer (empty) and the safe; Last aspect that I think useful to report is that access to the rooms is still managed with physical keys with an attached identification knob, from having to leave in the concierge at the exit and return to return to the hotel (the door of my room is defective, if you do not Locks from the inside, does not freeze). The breakfast is not particularly rich, but it is still provided with all the typical choices of sweet and salty foods and is of good quality.

Receptionists bitter. A worker that takes all night bothering you while you clean the hall 2000 times with the mop. Another escuende to see if the guests go out of their rooms.

It's not advisable at all. The receptionist is a stupid and bitter. The cleaning service is scarce and at night.
They leave dirty scourers in the bathroom sink. There's a drug and alcohol store next door. It is not advisable to go with small children. Extra beds and they don't change the sheets. They just throw the litters and make the beds, they don't pick up anything else. There is a lot of noise and the windows do not have rails or bars.
And I give him a star because I can't give him anything.

Nice bedroom but a strange noise in the bathroom. The food here was just so good!

Very nice hotel. Good breakfast. I was in the economy room, while it was very pretty it was also quite girl. Everything else very good.

The Hotel is very average. Close to Termini station. There is a supermarket Nearby.

Great staff, clean towels, everything prepared every day. Old building, but its rome, so it has some charm.

My first Hotel in Rome, I would highlight the service and the friendliness of the hotel staff which demonstrates their vocation. The room large, comfortable and comfortable but with a detail in against should modernize it a little. Elegant on the inside.

Some rooms are not 4 stars.

The first thing to keep in mind is that you have to pay a tourist tax. In the case of this hotel are €6 per person and night.
It wasn't too bad. To be a 4 star a bit crappy.
The room was spacious and the bathroom was nice. Clean. But all very old. In the elevator it gave authentic dread to get on, and we were on the 3 floor so the stairs cost…

Very good hotel, breakfast I recommend it.

Rooms were slightly dated but comfortable and adequate. Staff were very helpful. Great access to Metro and Termini.

Very comfortable. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Surprised about other comments re cleanliness as our rooms were spotless. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Despite being so close to the city centre it was in a relatively quiet street. Very good location for transport links. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

The rooms are small, the shower cubicle is small, the breakfast is not tasty, the staff is friendly. If you come to Rome to walk, and not in the room to sit, then do not pay Vgimanija!

The walls were dirty, the sink and the shower were kind of gross. The room is smaller than it seems in the pictures. The staff it's ok, nice. The breakfast was poor and everyday the same menu. Nice view and close to the terminal :)

Excellent hotel. Very good service and availability. Very cordial.

Pros: Close to the train terminal. Good staff. Cons: Very small room. Bathroom lock did not work nor was it fixed after complaining.

Good location. Lovely quaint hotel with old world charm. Free Wi-Fi but only available in the lobby. Our room had a charming balcony which we loved.

Close to the center, Very good service! Polite and nice personal, The breakfast is poor but they clean the room very nice! The Wi-Fi is weak. In the end me and my partner really enjoyed there! Recommend it for a few days.

Nice hotel in the middle of Rome — service is really good. The rooms are "worn down" — but a good bed and clean room! I reccomend it!

Helpful staff, good location and rooms were okay. The breakfast buffet was appetizing. The only drawback was the room I got, it smelled a little bit from the drain in the shower, and if roomservice was available I got no information about it. All in all a good experience. The area was nice and easy to navigate in.

The hotel is quite close to the Metro and Termini Central Station. My room was very small but quiet. The choice of breakfast buffet is normal by Italian standards. However, the friendliness of some female employees leaves something to be desired. Access to Wi-Fi is only possible in the lobby, but it works very quickly, the down-as well as the upload.

Good location. In the bathroom there is no place to hang towels, no shelves in the shower, problem to hang trousers…
But in general, against the backdrop of other hotels-a good choice.

The hotel room was quite large (for Italy) but old and not comfortable. There was no closet in my room. The toilet has a broken seat, bath, no curtains, all the water is on the floor. The plumbing is old, the metal parts are rusty, the shower is leaking. Beds consisted of 2 layers (stand and mattress), bed linen is clean. Good place to stay.

Close to metro station and Rome central station but the hotel itself is a bit of old.

Hotel Lux is very suitable located from amenities, Metro and Termini Station — convenient for transport to and from the airport! I found it frustrating that Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby and not in the rooms. Even in the lobby it is not reliable. Shower is a bit small and panels falling off. Breakfast is satisfactory. On the really positive side staff are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very good. The train station is not far away. Yes, and points of interest close enough. But it is something less than perhaps only in Japan.

Very nice reception but what are the rooms much left to be desired… realised last week and the walls of the room are full of dry spitting and the quilt without washing, and with a few runs! I do not recommend it to part the breakfast is not of this world.

Clean comfortable hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was adequate but there is no restaurant so don't look for an evening meal. The room was clean and well presented, the television small but who goes to Rome to watch television. Wi-Fi is only available in reception lounge.

Small rooms and extra beds very uncomfortable and low quality. The decor is dreadful. The bathroom is small but has everything you need, except a curtain or screen to not rinsing. The Wi-Fi is very poor and the breakfast very disappointing.

I was a guest of this hotel as a participant of a study trip. The hotel is not anything of another world, but considering that we only use it to sleep and shower… it's also Not plan to require much. The beds are comfortable and water is hot. What's worse: the Wi-Fi. It doesn't reach the rooms, only in the lobby, and also works very slow. If you're lucky and you were allocated a room near to hotel back, you can connect to your Wi-Fi, which is much better.

I've not liked the rooms, nor liked Wi-Fi not come to the rooms, but in summary for the price which has, some defects but is not bad.

Hotel is very convenient. The hall is very spacious and bright. Clean rooms and great for business travellers and tourists. Breakfast room very large with international buffet. I will definitely be back.

Hotel with 3 stars. A maximum of 2. Very noisy, bath ventilation without blinds, Dim light. You can, but no more.

Small rooms and not very well maintained, breakfast good but not great, control non all'altezza, surly staff.
Not up to par for a 4 star hotel.

Normal hotel nothing special. It is a pity that there is no Wi-Fi, breakfast not very small, but it's even fun! Voobshchem all liked it.

Small rooms, no Wi-Fi, moderate breakfast, no dinner or supper. General conclusion: not suitable for an individual accommodation.

In September 2008 stayed with his family in this hotel. A huge plus is the location! the historical centre, practically do not use public transport, although close to the metro. Excellent rooms and good service.
