Fantastic customer service, very helpful. Rooms very quiet and clean and full variety breakfast.

This was an amazing hotel with large spacious accommodations, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was a work of art as well as tasting so good. I recommend this hotel also as it is near the train station though it is further away from the heart of the city.

Impeccable service. Great location (close to Termini, banks, supermarket etc). We reserved a room a terrace, which was excellent. We cannot rate Hotel Alpi highly enough.

Lovely clean hotel, very friendly polite staff & well located. On our last morning, they presented a cake & sang as it was my partners birthday, lovely gesture.

It's a quaint hotel within a ten minute walk from the train station and tour busses. Nice breakfast and staff. The room was a little smaller than wet expected, but not bad nonetheless.

Ok hotel. Breakfast is pretty basic and family room somewhat smaller than shown on the hotel pictures but overall pretty decent for the price.

Its not a 4 Star. It's 10 minutes walk from the Termini. Not the best location. It's dated. Of the 3 hotels I stayed in Italy, this has to be at the bottom end. Although I paid roughly the same for the other ones. Staff was very polite and friendly. Breakfast was good. I wouldn't stay at this hotel or even at this location again.

The rooms are small compared to us, but standard compared to Europe. The staff there are kind, helpful and welcoming. Very clean. Have a nice breakfast. It speaks French and English.

Stayed here in Jan 2017 and it was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was right up my street. The bathroom was luxurious and just what we hoped for. The hotel was in a good location as it wasn’t too far from the tourist attractions and had a supermarket just across the road. Would stay here again if I was to return to Rome.

I loved Hotel Alpi. It is in a very safe neighborhood that is just a couple minutes walk away from the central Rome train station and restaurants. The rooms are spacious, especially for European standards. We did not eat breakfast here, but I can only imagine that it is good as well. The only negative I can think of is that the elevator is quite small, and a little claustrophobic. The hotel staff was always very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend Hotel Alpi to all.

The hotel is close to the train station. So the location is quite ok. Unfortunately it is a bit dirty in the rooms for a 4 star hotel. In our room things were broken and the shower also made problems. Plaster was only very over-surface or not at all. The beds always slipped apart at night. Some people from the staff were friendly others but not. The breakfast was OK. However, it was served the same every day. There are not so many places in the room either. So you always had to wait outside again. There are much better 4 star hotels.

Quite complicated stay in this hotel: we made 4 rooms: in the first Jacuzzi disgusting bathtub with tips of nails that went up in the water, the second the same, the third very noisy, at the end of the 4th chamber, as we could No more moving, we decided to stop asking for changes. In this last room, the shower system was dislocated. We thought of a farce in view of the price paid and the difficulties encountered but not. Staff quite unpleasant overall. We had to fight to get a commercial gesture that was not up to par. No responsiveness, disregard for staff. Breakfast room without window where you feel locked up. More generally hotel dated and suffocating. We're not going to get our feet.

The standard room is kind of small. Their website pictures look nicer. Breakfast has a lot to choose from.

Very good hotel. Very close to Termini station and for those who like to walk, it is also close to Piazza della Repubblica, a place worth knowing. The staff is very friendly, the rates are good and they have excellent quality. It is a very cozy and comfortable place. In its vicinity there are several places to eat and bars, besides having its own coffee inside the hotel, which, however, is not always open. Good experience!

The location is very central, a 5-minute walk to Termini station from where you can connect to public transport. There is a supermarket in the immediate vicinity.

It was a very nice hotel with a good value for money. If you have to go to Rome even passing by to catch a flight from the Reception they arrange some convenient transfers. Good quality Italian and European breakfast. Good solution for families as well.

Pros: The hotel is in a very good location in Termini area, 5 minutes from the station. We have tried other hotels in Termini area before, but this is definitely the best location in the area. Beside all transport facilities offered by Termini, you can find a taxi station, Conad (a very good supermarket) near the hotel. The room and the bathroom were not so large, but we are in the center of Rome. The room, bathroom, linen and towels were clean. The Wi-Fi was good. The receptionist at check-in was very kind and funny. Cons: Complicated and long check-in and checkout procedure, unusual in Europe for EU citizens. They scan all guests’ id (I do not know if they are allowed to do it). The hotel locked the deposit on my credit-card as the free cancelation period was over. At the hotel we had to wait to finalize this transaction (longer than a new payment). And there was one more transaction for the city tax. We would have liked to proceed the whole payment procedure at the arrival, not to spend time with this early morning at the departure, but they said they could not do it only next morning at checkout. They offered us private transfer to Ciampino airport for 50 euros by email before arrival, even if the taxi has fix price: 30 euros. Of course, private transfer can be faster and more accurate than the taxi sometimes.

I would like to give an enormous thank you to the Hotel Alpi for accommodating over 40 guests for my son and daughter in laws wedding. We have all just returned after four night stay and the whole experience has been exceptional. Anything we needed or requested was never to much trouble and they also very kindly arranged a surprise complimentary drinks and buffet reception for us all on the terrace roof bar which was amazing, The rooms were first class and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and could not do enough for us. A very big thank you to Carla, Ali and everyone else involved for making our stay very special experience. Jane Hall.

The Hotel is very close to the train station and the bus. The staff are very friendly and speak French. The breakfast buffet is your good, the rooms very nice.

The Hotel is very tidy and clean and all the staff were very helpful. Carla was always with a big smile on her face and gave us suggestions of places to go and we loved them. Just think that they could have more variety for breakfast. We stayed for 4 days and everyday was the same things. Apart from that was a very good experience.

Clean, modern, nice rooms, very spacious bathroom, with a small terrace many suggestive. A short walk from Termini station but it's quiet. Nice staff and good breakfast. There is the possibility to leave your luggage for free.

Just had a great 5 night stay here. We had a family room (2 adults and 2 kids). The first room was big but didn't have much natural light as faced into courtyard so they kindly gave us a room higher up with a balcony and great views of the square. Super friendly staff and great breakfast. 5 mins walk to Termini station so brilliant location. Great Wi-Fi. Would def return to this hotel.

We got a double room with two extra beds for the grandkids. We arrived in the evening and the sink drain was completely clogged. We were forced to wash hands, face and teeth in the bidet is the night the next day. The exhaust system has been repaired in the evening before departure. The fridge is not working. Only thing truly palatial price, ben 830 euro for two nights, I don't recommend it to anyone.

Great hotel :-) no complaints. Perfect location close to Termini station — excellent transport links to tourist attractions all over the city. Bedroom nice spacious, well decorated and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. my only issue is that TV is not in English other than 2 channels BBC news and CNN. But my understanding is that this is the same all over the city.

Checked into this hotel at 1pm on May 4, 2010 and was disgusted. It's a shabby place, no elevator, and the internet pictures are a total misrepresentation. Doorman carried our luggage up the stairs and showed us into a tiny room with a saggy mattress which they claim is a "superior" room. Doorman left, we went into the bathroom and noticed there was a woman's dress and bra hanging in the robe hook from the last guest! Went downstairs and complained to the clerk who verbally agreed to cancel our reservation. No mention of any penalty but at 2:23 pm this hotel sent us an email saying they were charging us $180 as a no show. 2:23 in the afternoon! Hopefully we will get a charge back from American Express but do yourself a big favor and avoid this miserable hotel. This is definitely NOT a four star property and the staff is incompetent, sloppy and rude.
