Hotel next to the center, bus and metro nearby, large free and spacious parking, for us it was perfect,

My wife and I came to Rome for or 25th Wedding Anniversary. This hotel was lovely. It was very clean and transport to and from it to the city centre was excellent. Bus stop to city is 90 seconds from foyer and bus stop at front gate coming from the city. The Concierge, Gianluca was a gentleman and couldn’t do enough. His English was excellent and apart from being a Lazio fan, (my wife and I are Roma fans), he was as good as I have had the pleasure to talk to. Plan to come back sooner now because of all this and the Occidental Aurelia will definitely be where we stay.

Clean room and good soundproofing from the outside, breakfast excellent and with good choice of sweet and salty. The guy, Gianluca if (I remember) very kind and sympathetic. Absolutely return and recommend!

This hotel chain is a safe value, but this hotel, especially the staff, is to the best of our elections. From the arrival, at the reception worried of making us feel like at home. With all kinds of explanations about places to visit, restaurants, traspnn
s treated us better than well. Reception, bar, address, breakfast… not a paste. The room for 2 adults and a child, super spacious, quiet, impeccable cleanliness and with a spacious bathroom and well-equipped with everything you need and more. The terrace in the garden invited to take something almost every night. The breakfast buffet ample and of quality in the products. The hotel is not in the center and is grateful for the peace of mind. With bus stop at the door and metro 10 minutes walk away. Close to very good restaurants if you fancy staying by the area. This, to repeat, above all, by the staff, too bad not remembering their names, except Alazne Rodriguez, deputy direction, very professional, friendly and kind. Congratulations!.

Nice, clean and modern rooms. Staff was very friendly and the front desk staff was fluent in English which was very helpful as my Italian is not very good. Had a great stay.

This is an excellent property in Aurelia, with large green cover, abundant parking and rooms definitely large in terms of European standard. The bus service and are frequent and the guest can conveniently reach major attractions. The hotel belongs to Barcelo group and is a right hotel if you are coming to Roma, whether for business or pleasure.

We hadden een zeer ruime, luxueuse kamer en badkamer. Het enige nadeel was dat het bedlinnen precies te kort was voor ons bed waardoor de matras en dekbedovertrek gemakkelijk bloot kwam te liggen. Voor de rest heel vriendelijk personeel en uitstekend ontbijt.

All good. Price performance for Rome best. Quiet with very good transport links. Further recommended.

Stayed for a conference for a few nights. The rooms are big and well-appointed and the staff are helpful and friendly. It is a bit of a corporate environment and the size can be a little impersonal. The breakfast buffet is colossal and there is much to choose from. If you want to dine outside of the Breakfast times a small kitchen provides the bar with a limited and poor selection of heated-up food. A bus serving the centre of Rome stops nearby, but the lack of pavement makes waiting for it a matter of taking your life into your own hands. A little expensive for what you actually get.

It was a wonderful experience over there in Occidental Aurelia. The location is easily accessible. The venue is antique as well as modern. Really it's a wonderful place to stay.

Spent seven nights at this hotel while on a visit to Rome. Well appointed and modern. Reception staff welcoming and helpful. I had a slight issue with then room I had been allocated. Raised the matter with reception staff and they resolved the issue without delay by allocating me a different room… full marks on that score. In-house restaurant is rather limited and located within the bar, which didn't entice me to use it. The breakfast buffet is very good indeed, with staff in attendance to ensure that all items are replenished as necessary. I was extremely impressed by this area of the hotel. The hotel is within a ten-minute walk of several good restaurants. Also within a slightly longer walk of the metro system, which provides quick and easy access to all the attractions of central Rome. The only caveat I would add to this is the fact that the walk entails using a narrow pavement alongside a road which can be very busy. I would, therefore, caution anyone with mobility issues against using that pavement, but advise the use of a taxi for the short journey involved. All in all, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Occidental Aurelia, and I am happy to recommend it.

Beautiful stay. Very clean. Full breakfast. Good location if you go by car has parking inside the property. Barbarian! Good connection to the bus to the center.

Spacious and clean rooms, rich and very good buffet breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, located in a quiet part of Rome and only 10 minutes from the Metro. It was the first time in this hotel but I will definitely go back.

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. I have to say it's not bad, the location is also good. The rooms are nice large and the bathrooms are spacious and clean. Leaves enough to wish for breakfast. Very basic both on sweet and salty. To eat something more you have to order to the staff of the room, which unfortunately I have not seen. So I had to settle for a few slices of ham and cheese. Although I had seen a restaurant menu different types of things, but to order.

Nice rooms, easy access. Great little restaurant down the road as well. Had to request for the AC to be turned on in the room.

Nice place to stay out out of the city. We walked to the metro each day on narrow sidewalks. Largest city park is nearby for a nice Sunday with locals. Hotel staff is professional and helpful with local recommendations.

Occidental Aurelia Located outside the city center, but less than 1/2 mile from the subway. Hotel is generally outstanding (just don't look too closely), neighborhood is residential, slightly inconvenient for those on foot. Wifi outstanding in room 110. Clean, modern. Bathroom well laid out, hot water excellent. Not sure what the price per night is, as we were part of a tour. Breakfast buffet pretty good. Cons: shower stall doors didn’t close crisply. Buttons to flush toilet stopped working (they were on their last legs when I checked in). Overall 5/5. Wifi 5/5.

Small room, good breakfast and good location, close to the center by public transport, there are several buses that stop at the door.

Great hotel. Well connected by bus that leaves you at the door. 10 minutes by bus from St. Peter's Basilica Square and 25-30 minutes walk (although at night I do not seem to go or walk back because it is in a neighborhood to the suburbs with narrow stretches on the sidewalks and dimly lit) The hotel has everything you expect from a B UEN Hotel: Spacious rooms, large bathroom with all the amenities you imagine, shaving kit, dental, etc. The bed was great and the room was very nice. Breakfast, buffet, very complete and cafeteria until 11 pm. The Wi-Fi a little messy until you get used to it as you leave the hotel loses the signal and the return does not connect automatically. Everything to get used to. And Pir last, the employees very correct and friendly. A very good hotel at an excellent price.

Great staff great rooms no itinerary guide for the room. Wouldn't rate the hotel as a 4 star as the finishing touches were missing but the staff were 5 star.

We had a small bad experience yesterday but the staff members made everything they could to compensate us and fix the problem. This is how you treat an unhappy customer, well done! The barman and manager deserves this five stars.

Staff were amazing 5* for them! buffet breakfast was yummy. room were quite small, but clean and modern, however not enough of the facilities you'd expect to have in a 4* hotel.

Room was very large for Europe. Bathroom was good. Staff was good, but had to tell them to turn the air conditioning on. Lobby was decent. Breakfast was on the top floor which was a pain because the elevator only goes down if not on the ground floor. Overall we were satisfied with our stay.

Front desk guy, Gianluca, was extremely helpful. Location is relatively close to Vatican City for tourist. Room was very clean and respectful staff.

When I booked the room at a very good rate I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by everything: friendly staff, clean rooms, good (! ) breakfast with plenty of options to choose from. In front of the hotel there are some bus lines that can take you either to the nearest Metro station or to Vatican/ Pizza Venezia which was perfect for me and my friend.

Extremely clean, modern and surprisingly quiet hotel. The staff are all very polite and go out of their way to assist. The hotel has full airconditioning and the facilities are fantastic. The menu they offer may be small but each dish we had was impeccable. The only downside is the local transportation is not always on time, but that should not reflect badly on this hotel by any means, the staff are very knowledgeable and answered everything we threw at them!

First of all, the hotel looks much better in the pictures. Then it sounds like the hotel is almost central, but it is not. It is right outside, left and right only shrubs, no shops. The bus stop is right in front of it, but you never know when the bus is coming, there is no timetable. You have to have the tickets before boarding, but there is no shop right near where you can buy them:) ) ). The hotel itself is not a 4 star value, maximum 3 stars. It is rather modern looking, but there was a lot of dust in our room, especially on the bedside lamps. Breakfast is sufficient, nothing special. The café from the vending machine a impudence. Staff are nice. Of the 160 channels there is only one German: ZDF. That's not worth 4 stars.
Even in Turkey I had over 10 German channels in the hotel. Those who do not have too much expectations and are not fussy can take this hotel quietly, but should bring a lot of patience and time, the rides to the city centre are annoying.

The only sore point is that to regulate the temperature of the rooms you need to ask in reception despite the thermostat in the room.

We found it to be a great base for our trip to Rome. Certainly not a top hotel, but all the basics were there if you're on a budget. Great restaurant just down the road on the left.

The hotel itself was really nice. The lobby was beautiful and service was good. The bad thing is that the shower corners are full of mold, and the rooms on the ground floor smelled terrible.
