Beautiful location easy to reach.

We stayed two nights in this hotel, what to say: everything exceptional! Very kind staff and always available to accommodate our requests, beautiful room and above all super clean, the bed very comfortable, even the décor of the room was very nice. We will certainly meet again for the next few occasions! Hopefully soon!

I often stay in this hotel for work and I have to say that I am very satisfied. Staff always kind and helpful, large and comfortable room, spacious bathroom and always accessorized with disposable toothbrush, slippers, beard accessories, etc. Breakfast rich and complete with all the desirable.
The neighborhood is residential, there are many restaurants in the surroundings in case you don't feel like walking away to eat. It's not very close to the subway, but the area is served well with scheduled coaches, also great the shuttle service that offers the hotel with several daily trips.

Nice hotel, not so far from the city center. Rooms are clean and of decent size. Rooms are equipped with a safe box and mini bar. However, several things do not work in hotel's favor. Lack of the swimming pool and super-tiny gym can hardly justify 4 stars hotel proudly displayed on the outside wall. In my room both outer and inner blinds were broken, so I couldn't get much of natural light. Power outages seem to be happening on regular basis, since we had one in the middle of the day and we heard about another one that happened two weeks ago. It wasn't very fun losing Wi-Fi in the middle of the conference and then taking the stairs back to the room on the 5th floor at the end of the day.

I have never had a worse customer service experience at a hotel. The staff were grossly incompetent, rude, and completely lied to my face four times (each time by a different staff member). If you want to have a relaxing stay in Rome, if you're going on a business trip, or even if you're just stopping through, I cannot more strongly recommend staying somewhere else.

This is a very big hotel. It is equipped with ample spaces in recreational areas and also outside. The rooms are spacious and recently modernised. A bit labyrinthine given the large number of rooms. I didn't eat at the restaurant so I don't know, but the breakfast is very varied in choice. The area of Rome in which it is located is not the best to visit the center, it is not served by Metro.

4-star hotel located in an area not reachable by public transport but still surrounded by free parking. The location is definitely modern and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. Also excellent for corporate conventions as there are several auditorium halls. Restaurant service adapted to the standards. Rooms maybe a little pricey compared to the neighborhood.

Great for business or for tourism even with family. Convenient underground parking. Very good cleaning. Very friendly staff at the front desk. I did not give 5 stars because the reservation at toll — no works fine but if you call directly into the hotel they help you.

More than a room… a spacious Studio! Great spaces and maximum comfort in a large and modern hotel.
The room is equipped with a sitting area, the bathroom includes separate bathtub and shower and a spacious walk-in closet with safe.

Quite old manner hotel. You find cheaper with higher quality and better location. But still good satisfaction.

4 * Hotel rather worthy of a 3 *. If the staff is listening, the standing is not worthy of a 4 *. The environment is not appropriate, in the middle of a residential area, at 25min bus from the Colisee (South of Rome). Too bad, there is worse but there is also better.

Hotel in a good location, preserved from the traffic and the noise and pollution that ensued. Breakfast varied and of good quality except for the coffee and the Capuccino dispensed by the vending machines. The bathroom is separated from the room by froth stained glass windows and I would equip it with night light to avoid disturbing the roommate. Good rooms for conferences and/or laboratories and adjacent spaces useful for coffe-Breck and lunch. The rooms are very hot, contact the reception desk for possible opening of a window consisting of a large glass. The staff at the front desk is really welcoming, kind and friendly. I don't know if the public transportation is comfortable, I used the taxi service; I saw shuttle vehicles made available by the hotel but I do not know whether free of charge or if paid.

Modern nice hotel, in a not so nice neighborhood. The hotel is nice, while during my stay air conditioning was not working and the room had like 25°, which a little warm. I have been there for a coference which was ok, but for a vacation it is a clear no. Food was ok — but nothing outstanding.

Fancy hotel aimed at business and conference. Situated in the south of the city of Rome. A bit far out of the tourist zone. If you're looking to see the sites of ancient Rome you're in the wrong place. This is a modern suburb with many new monuments, which, while impressive, is not of the ancient city of romance and history. Lovely hotel though and good breakfast. Nice facilities and very helpful staff.

Modern, spacious, 30 minutes from Rome. A 24-hour room service, a coffee machine in the room and no water comes out the bath so it does not flood the bathroom.

The hotel is inside a dilapidated building that has probably experienced better times. The rooms have a stinking carpet and huge untreated terraces with shabby walls and makeshift furnishings. The quality of the dishes served in the restaurant is not up to a large hotel chain and, above all, it is not the service staff, surprised to respond in Italian to the interpellations of foreign tourists. Very courteous and precise, however, the guys at the front desk.

Hotel Star (Royal) not far from the district Montagnola-Eur. Modern rooms, generous breakfast included, ample parking inside not guarded. Medium-high price, depends on the season. For those who are not equipped there is the bus stop 716 not far, in about 30 ' you arrive to Piazza Venezia, city center.

Great services, great breakfast buffet, it's a little bit far away but forma the price you pay it's ok.

A little far. Change the prices according to the days. Very expensive breakfast and 15, so you should have breakfast elsewhere.

Without being a hotel of excellence (4 *), it has good rooms and is close to the sights but far enough so that that is not a hindrance, the breakfast is carefully complete. At the time we were we were not informed of attentions such as spa or pool. The bathroom is very full. The bathroom was very good. For those of us who are accustomed to hotels in Chile It is a hotel 5/7 but in Italy it is certainly the best in its category.

Despite being a good brand our room had carelessness in the bathroom equipment and the water temperature was not the best. As for service was average.

Good hotel outside the center. Around the property however there is very little. Taxis or buses are mandatory. The rooms are very clean Respectful Conference room. Breakfast very but very lacking with poor quality products.

It was a very nice hotel. Very good reception I stayed only one night and didn't experience the breakfast or the restaurant. Located in peripheral area but well accessible. Only downside the overheating and not controllable in the room (ie, even from off kept making it very hot), but nothing serious.

The hotel is good, clean, nice, breakfast very good, staff very friendly… but it is very far from the centre of Rome, by bus line can be between 20 and 30 minutes, although the bus stop is very close to the hotel. The hotel charges 5 euros each time Q you move in your minibus.

Hi everyone, Let me tell you about our annoying experience with this hotel. We arrived Sunday, August 13, 2017, and we leave the 17th, so we spent a total of 4 nights here. I was thrilled to have my own room because they charge more to have 3 people in 1 room than to get 2 separate rooms. Problems: #1: the room (440). I walked into my room and it smelled weird. I walked around trying to figure out where it was coming from, and I couldn't figure it out. The sheets smelled a bit stale, so I mentioned it later that day to the staff and their solution was to spray air freshener in the room. That of course wore off after a few hours. The door also wouldn't shut all the way. My parents door would shut automatically and mine had to be forced to shut. Their room also didn't smell, which is how we knew there was something wrong with mine. I went and bought air freshener because apparently that was the only solution to the weird smell. #2: the shower. The water drained extremely slow, so before I knew it I was shin deep in water. I tried moving things around to see if there was something to open the drain, but once the water cleared I was able to see some hair and I can only imagine what's stuck in the pipes. Following my first experience with the shower, I would have to shut the water off after a few seconds so I wouldn't be standing in dirty water. It's been upwards of 30C/85F so it's been hot and walking around ruins you get dirty.

Should be a 5 star hotel. Amazing, great friendly service. I came here last year when travelling and touring Rome. The food is top notch. The rooms were so cool and modern. This was one of my favourite hotels on my month long trip. Easy for the bus to pull up and collect us all. Clean, tidy, looks expensive but they gave us a great price. Even the hallways smell great.

Very beautiful rooms with pleasant ambient deco. Corridors are a bit unpleasant and dark. So before you get into your room you have to walk through scary passage. Other then that its upscale. And recomend.

Excellent place refined and full of knowledgeable and friendly people. Kudos to the chef for the excellent cheese and pepper. I would definitely recommend it as a place of work meetings and reference to visit the eternal Rome. Raffaele Safar.

Very nice hotel. Clean. Great breakfast. Comfortable parking. Good place for business meetings. A bit noisy in the morning. Great value for the money.

Good size room, free Wi-Fi, comfortable bed and nice breakfast. That's about it when you're in a business/conference hotel but it's not enough if you're on holidays. A/C wasn't working, even with 24 degrees outside; staff in reception felt quite abrupt and not very helpful and it's a bit far from the centre. Also, it's hard to understand why Barceló takes the effort to "look after the environment" and the maid changes all the towels even if you follow the instructions to keep them.

The Wi-Fi fails in the rooms.

Definitely looks might deserve a lot more. The structure is extraordinary is huge, the staff polite and prepared breakfast.
The room where we stayed 2 days, air conditioning or air conditioned which was never did its job, wet heat, were supposed to go out, breathe work things out for x or else sauna.

The hotel is very well decorated — nice atmosphere and good parking (with its own underground car park at a good price). The room has a pleasant size and is well insulated, you can hear nothing from the room or the hallway.

The Barcelo is a good * hotel with a good location (about 15 euro taxi ride to the city centre), good value for money and friendly staff. The rooms are big enough and relatively clean, with small flaws (71 euro per night i. O. But at the price). The poorly written garage entrance is negative. We arrived late at night in Florence and parked our car on the road for the first time. Unfortunately, embarked on the first night our car window and stolen by the ski bag part of our purchases (even used shoes) from the trunk. For this, can the hotel have respected although but nothing, as we slump on, was the street of full glass. Shards of glass from broken car Windows on the ground were in different places. It seems to get here systematically to auto again to tourists/foreigners and this is also known as we know in hindsight. If you arrive by car, should be necessarily his car in the underground garage (is unfortunately not signposted, ask at the front desk). I have taken 4-star without the intrusion. I would consider stay determined again the hotel at an additional ROM.

I stayed for one night in a double room and I must say I was impressed. Modern furniture clean and perfect soundproofing, groomed, professional and qualified staff. Definitely go for work and don't.

Fatal, horrible, book a room for 3 people and gave me a room for 2 people with a cushion of 10 cm in width and added abruptly. To enter the room side and 3 suitcases that did not fit. This would not be so.

Fantastic four star hotels in Rome. The staff, room and facilities were great. Highly recommend, if you don't mind living a bit far away from the city. Euro 12-14 by taxi from here to the city, in General, here is a lovely hotel and tourist attractions is also more convenient.

I have been to this hotel for a Conference. The hotel is located a bit out of the way than the tourist areas but is easily accessible by bus from Circo Massimo. The hotel is modern and clean. The kitchen is very good.

Hotel grande, bella stanza pulita, ristorante bistrot dove si mangia bene. Personale molto gentile.

It's nice aesthetically … the staff looks friendly and the welcome is friendly. The structure and, in particular, the rooms are very nicely decorated and the attention to detail is meticulous … cleanliness is excellent — fantastic as soon as you can or you around Rome. Really beautiful.

We (wife and i) were in a trip around Europe, best hotel of all of them… 7 minutes from downtown and best staff. I wish hotels in Europe could learn from barcelo Roma a little bit of what's a good service in guest services!

Its was a lovely hotel, staff was very helpful spoke all languages so that we could be understood, the room was to a high standard the Wi-Fi was ok. You can use public transport (buses) to get you into the town centre (colosseum) it takes about 15mins on the 160 bus route dont forget to buy your 3 day roma pass that will allow you to use all public transport for 3 days. Now for the down side. There was no tea making facilities in the room so I would advice that you carry a travel kettle with you. And they are abit slow with the room service.

Horrible hotel! Bad service all around. It's far from everything. They have a shuttle to the center of the city, but it's always late and it's badly organized (plus: drivers always in a bad mood). The restaurant is even worse. There's not enough servers and everything is really slow. Towards the end of our stay, we just gave up and went to get food somewhere else.

A very good hotel, friendly staff, nice clean rooms, 4 km from the Colosseum, a 4 star hotel as few, really love it.

Terrible! Barcelo is absolutely the worst hotel system in Roma! The staff are very impolite. Services is terrible! They sent us to another hotel without any reason. The other hotel in their system (Barcelo Aran Park), is in the middle of nowhere, and that hotel is also awful.
