Great hotel with excellent service.

We had a fab week at this hotel, staff couldn't do enough from booking in to booking out everything was perfect, the restaurant staff, bar staff, rooftop staff and cleaners all made our stay memorable, we had clean bedding and towels daily the hotel is quite central to everything we wanted to see, restaurant is bit pricey but food was excellent and you don't have to eat in though do recommend at least one meal, the fillet steak is WOW, breakfast was included for us and was lovely.

Location is great, within walking distance to major sites and you get to arrive and leave on a boat. Food is awesome and service outstanding. Rooms are modern and mine was in a corner and had two views. Strongly recommended.

We spent a night in this great place and the experience was simply amazing.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. They are ready to give you all the tips you need for your stay.
Hotel is located right in the middle of all the best places in Venice so you can walk all around the city without having to worry about getting lost.
And if we talk about food and drink… restaurant is like a diamond inside the hotel.
Nonetheless the room… High class furniture, elegant colours and a supreme white marble in the bathroom.
We had a top floor room… With a view all over Venice.
Thinking about it I would go back now… felt really spoilt.

Hotel is nothing short of amazing. Venice is the most beautiful place we have ever visited and can not wait to return♥️ from Ireland.

Very friendly staff, accommodating, beautifully decorated; the rooms quite lovely and the Splendid is close to St. Marks Square, shops and restaurants. The bridges, canals, homes are just like what you see in TV and magazines. You will not be disappointed if you stay at the Splendid. 5 Stars ⭐️

Do not stay here. Staff stole our last 100 euro from our room on our last day. Saturday breakfast they took the deli meat and cheese to the back to restock and finally brought back 20 minutes later when we were done eating. Received one coffee and tried to get someone's attention to get another, but was ignored. We got up and asked for one to take to our room and was told we had to order through room service. Management offered nothing, but an apology. They could have saved our vacation with a simple dinner as an apology for the inconvenience.

Fantastic staff, consummate professionalism. Lovely, fresh decor in bedrooms. Tea and coffee machine in bedrooms. Superb location.

Went with my wife for our 10 year anniversary, booked because of the excellent reviews. It did not disappoint room, staff and location was perfect 3min walk to st marks square, 4min to Rialto bridge. We got water taxis to and from airport which cost €140 each way but made it more special. Would highly recommend.

Pulling up to the hotel by boat was incredible but once inside I felt bamboozled. Room was teeny tiny, lights all flickered, bathtub didn't drain and splashed water everywhere, Wi-Fi was down pretty much the whole time. Felt like I was sleeping in a bargain cruise ship cabin. Absolutely no clue where the $450 a night they were charging for that room went?

The rooms are clean and very well equipped, and decorated, bordering on kitsch. The beds are very comfortable. For a "superior" room, I expected it would be larger. I'm not even sure they even gave me a superior room, considering it's size. Except for the bathroom, which was almost as big as the room, and adapted for disabled people. The location is amazing, a couple of minutes walk to most of the sights. One of the reasons I chose this hotel however was the rooftop "bar", which was a huge let-down. The view is OK, but there is no service — not really a bar. There is a counter there with self-service coffee and water, but that's it.

Excellent hotel which has very hood location. In general the service is good. One negatif thing is that the terrace up in the roof was closed the time we spend our journey at the hotel. So I found sad that we haven’t any bar or so with this nice view above venice’s roof. The breakfast was nice and confort. And the room I have got was really great with special unforgettable details. Positif point is the handy that we used during our journey. For visiting venice is such a great devise to get. I had really nice moment at your hotel. Just one point please tell to all of your personal staff to say hello everytime you meet people would be perfect at all. Advise of you would have an excellent prestige service.

We stayed at Splendid for several days — the rooms were large, immaculate, beautifully designed, and staff were very attentive even down to ironing wardrobe items. The full breakfast setting in the open courtyard was a refreshing way to start the day and the location and rooftop bar simply could not be beat. We simply loved the in-room amenities and slippers at the foot of the bed. I would definitely consider this a luxury property located on a small quiet canal near nice shops, Rialto and Saint Marks Square. We look forward to our next stay!

Excellent food and service. A/C was cold and on all night. Room large enough to accommodate our party of 3. Nice large bathroom with standing shower, real size full functional blow dry, and large towels. Room service was the best! Room also included 2 large screen smart TVs and mini bar.

Great Hotel and great location to access all areas in Venice. You must try their roof top lounge to view Venice in the evening.

Upon arrival staff very lovely, accommodating. We stayed over the bank holiday. Cocktails during the football very well received. Interior or the rooms very plush and luxurious. Central location made this ideal for exploration. The only request would be a small pool on roof terrace :) highly recommend all round for this perfect place.

Staff was very friendly the room was immaculate and well appointed. Bathroom was modern and large. Good water pressure in the shower, room was cleaned early and promptly. King size bed newly renovated rooms hardwood floors breakfast was fantastic and it sits perfectly located right between Rialto and Piazza San Marco on a canal. You cannot ask for more.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to all major views of the city. The rooms are very clean, there is a mini bar and cosmetics. The kettle and coffee machine with a small supply of tea and coffe.
The breakfast is decent.

Fantastic hotel in the centre of Venice. 5 minutes from St. Mark's Square and 5 minutes from Rialto.

I spent two days with my wife unforgettable staff and prepared friendly and really helpful, the structure and dream and cleanliness and service are impeccable… It's worth the money it costs! And then I recommend dinner at the hotel restaurant an elite experience!

The best hotel I've stayed in, the rooms are awesome, the beds were really comfortable for us and the bathroom is really pretty. The service is first class, always wanting to help to the costumers. They had a really good breakfast service, we didn't lunch there. There is a port where you can get into a Gondola, really awesome experience.

Right in the heart of Venice between St Marks and Rialto. Room is lovely overlooking the canal; breakfast serving everything you could wish for. I would definitely recommend and return.

We have just returned from Hotel Splendid in Venice. What a wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived at this perfectly located hotel set on a picturesque canal, we were made very welcome. The staff at reception desk were so helpful and efficient. We enjoyed a beautiful meal in the restaurant. Room was beautiful, very clean and so comfortable and well equipped. All staff were so friendly, it was overall a perfect birthday weekend in a wonderful hotel. Thank you everyone at Hotel Splendid. Can’t wait to return.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… It was mine and my fiancé’s first time in Venice and we had our travel agent book our stay. It’s a beautiful hotel and we felt very comfy and cozy. We ended up paying for an upgrade to have a little better view of the canal. We were put on the top floor to look at the roof tops of other buildings with the canal below. Next time if we can we’d shoot for getting a better view of the canal. The hotel itself is very reachable. We walked the whole entire day around the city and where the hotel is is in the midst of “downtown”. Was very helpful.

A hotel with an unbeatable location five minutes walk from all the important monuments of the city. Staff very attentive to the needs of their guests. Breakfast something scarce for a hotel of its category is the only downside in the other room very comfortable.

Absolutely great!, great location, comfort, cleanliness, coffee and infusion free in the room with Illy machine, umbrella and mobile you can take to tour the city thanks to its GPS support, which has the possibility of free international calls and information With recommendations of all kinds.

A very good stay in this hotel. It stays expensive like all the hotels in Venice, but it makes the difference. Welcome to the top. Speak very well French. Exceptional location, there is everything you need to shop in the small streets around. And for dinner also in the direction of the Rialto, you have osterias or exceptional wine bars. Breakfast is very good but pay attention to the price, for me a coffee outside my does the trick. To come from the airport, bus to Piazza Rome and then Vaporeto to the Rialto Bridge. But Google Maps advises you very well for travel, timetables, number Vaporeto, just think to download your card offline before your departure, networks not the top of everywhere… Ciao.

As soon as we got there they communicated the up-grade of the room (Deluxe) thing really appreciated. The staff is prepared and friendlier, a special thanks to the room staff who during the breakfasts made us feel at home. The room was perfectly clean and equipped with every comfort. You couldn't ask for better.

In Venice there are plenty of hotels but this one is located between the bridge Fu Rialto and the piazza in San Marco there are worse and the interior is super cosy very nice hotel but at a Venetian price.

Very clean hotel, ideally located between the Rialto and Piazza San Marco, friendly staff, sober room and super comfortable bed, copious breakfast and at will, good value for money.

Unique nice hotel close of San Marco place and Rialto bridge. We were upgraded to a Deluxe room with view on Canal for our Anniversary and also greeted with a fresh bottle of sparkling wine and a box of fine cookies. Thank you to All the Friendly Staff for taking great care of us! Room and bathroom are well decorated and very clean. Every Evening, we find a chocolate and a bottle of water on our bedside table. We appreciated the breakfast buffet, especially the different kind of fresh bread and the cheese yogurt in a bowl.

Stayed for 3 nights and can't fault this hotel for its quality service and location. 3min walk from the water bus stop. 8mins walk to San Marco square. We dined in the restaurant on our last night and the food was lovely-Great attentive service from our excellent waiter Michael. We will be back!

Booked 3 rooms for 4 nights. When we arrived not one of the 3 rooms had a canal view. We were then told for a second additional fee on top of the original premium paid that the hotel "might" be able to find rooms with canal views. The check in literally took 45 minutes. The woman at the front desk explained that because it was hot outside their computers were slow. My room smelled like a backed up cesspool on a 110 degree day. We informed the front desk about the horrendous smell and we were told "sorry". At the very least shouldn't the staff at a "luxury hotel" notify management about the disgusting odor in a premium room? I am still floored by the lack of action on managements part to improve the situation? How can you put guests in a room with such a terrible smell?

Unbeatable location, best that I could ever imagine, right in the heart of the Venice, 4 min to Rialto and the same to St. Mark's square. Our room was beautifully decorated, the staff of the hotel were always very polite, and as an extra plus, the breakfast was full of choices. We will definately come back, on our next trip to Venice!

On the restaurant, the quality of the service and the context are good, except for the view of the city, unfortunately absent from the restaurant. The quality of the menu is averagely good with the exception of some meat dishes, too salty, or of "fresh" oxidized vegetables, not pleasant both to the view and to the palate. Definitely very recommended seafood dishes. The high price is context-aligned.

This beautiful hotel is set amidst the highlights of Venice! The staff is very nice and helpful! The breakfast is not only American (as described) but offers everything you can eat in the morning… Fruit, cheese, jam, honey, egg, scrambled eggs… Buns, bread and not just toast (which is also available). The rooms are decorated in a stylish and functional style. All in all, this is an absolute recommendation worth!

Very nice and clean Hotel. Friendly staff. Good international breakfast. The structure is modern but the wallpaper in the rooms, the velvet cushions and the arabized mirrors make it a characteristic of Venice with a touch of luxury, that does not fail. The two adjoining rooms for family are perfect, each with its own bathroom with bathtub. Quality ratio — good price!

Very nice room with canal view, equipped with coffee machine and Illy waffles, water kettle (every day a free bottle of natural water San Pellegrino) and tea bags the way of tea in Florence. Comfortable bed and possibility to have different types of pillows. To improve the quality of breakfast: The croissants did not look very fresh and not even Macedonia (fruit cut from the evening before, maybe…). Great location behind St. Mark's Square and 5 minutes walk from Rialto Bridge! Recommended!

Great hotel, perfect location. Do not fall for the glass blowing demonstration that they say is free. They take you to a glass blowing factory which is cool, right up until someone tries to sell you 11, 000 euro of their product. Then, if you don't buy anything they kick you out and tell you to go find you're own way back to your hotel. They bring you there in a private boat but don't offer the came thing back.

Great location… 5 minutes walk to Rialto Bridge or St Mark's Square. Boat dock makes for easy water taxi access. Breakfast was a great way to start each day and cocktails on the roof too terrace a great way to end the day. And if course, the people and service were amazing! We will surely return… thank you Splendid for a memorable stay.

Beautiful hotel, excellent rooms (albeit small). Perfect location. Staff not very engaging — — seem overwhelmed with tourists so can't totally blame them. Room service water €8/bottle, and you can't drink the tap water, so sensed a bit of exploitation there. Management needs to pay the staff more and make bottled water for guests, free.

The Venice Starhotel was the favorite of our trip. We traveled with our two daughters, ages 12 and 10, and were booked a Junior Suite. It was spacious and clean, and the staff was INCREDIBLE! The toiletries that we were provided were abundant, and the housekeeping service was excellent (both morning and evening turn down). The hotel is located right on a canal, so when we booked a water taxi to the airport, we literally took 12 steps from the lobby to the boat… super convenient. The hotel is located near several main piazzas, but was quiet and just slightly off the beat and path. There is a rooftop terrace that was very nice for pictures during the day, and to relax with a nightcap in the evening. The restaurant in the hotel, though a little pricey, was our favorite dinner while in Venice, and the complimentary breakfast with our package was a wonderful way to start the day. If we are fortunate enough to make it back to Venice one day, we will definitely be staying at this hotel.

The staff have been excellent. The rooms are gorgeous! Centrally located to all the main sites. The maid service is immpecable. Se delicious free breakfast. I am so happy we staid here and highly recommend it!

Very pleasantly surprised. Always heard rooms in Venice would be tiny, but this was fairly spacious, modern and clean. The bedsides actually has universal electrical and usb outlets. We had included breakfast in their restaurant, which was decent but nothing stand out. Service from hotel staff has been good. It's also a great location, central to the Rialto bridge and San Marco square, you can get to either with less than 5 min walking.

The hotel location was perfect for our first visit since we wanted to see as much of Venice as our time allowed. The hotel rooms were too spacious with so much of the Samsung TV with mirror screen, the breakfast was great, maybe a little limited. Condition of the bathrooms great!

Location, location, location… I can hear the bell tower toll… the gonola drivers singing, venetian life happening… amazing… and not one car :) great spot… room is a great size… bath is nice and hot… hotel bar drinks aRe about on par for the area… I don't ask for much more… great stay.

The room we had was fantastic and the view was gorgeous. We did get poor recomndations for dining options from the staff.

Overall, our stay a Splendid Venice was fantastic. The location is great, the rooms are spacious, the staff offer great restaurant advice, and above all, Venice is a fun and beautiful city! The only disappointing aspect of the place was our experience at the restaurant. While great for breakfast, the restaurant was disappointing for dinner service. Undercooked risotto and bland cuttlefish made the meal mediocre at best and that seemed to be the consensus of others at my table. Even so, the hotel was great and I would stay here again!

The location is really good, it's really close to San Marco. The rooms are nice although the beds might be a tad bit hard. The breakfast buffet is pretty good.

Excellent Hotel. The service is very friendly. In fact the room they gave us was in a inner courtyard in the works and we request the change to which they agreed without problem. And the room is perfect. Very remarkable the bed, with the mattress more comfortable that I have slept.

I like the location of the hotel which in between San Marco and Rialto.

After the pasta that costs the hotel, and get paid from Spain, I conducted two additional charges, saying that they were of a deposit, which ascendia about 700€, without my authorization and without being informed, and that which is still and after 5 days I am waiting that I returned. I indicated that they already had given order to the bank for its return. However, I've had to put a service law in place because it does not return.

Overall great hotel, nice rooms, reasonable prices very central — rooms were too hot though (during the winter) and Wi-Fi wasn't working in our rooms (signal was too weak).

Stay here. It's excellent. Very comfortable room and bed and pillows. Great at breakfast and. Cappuccino. One downer. You have to pay for Internet access, €8 per device. Yes. Per device. However, breakfast is included and it was decent. Recommend.
