Down a pretty dodgy alley way and located right near the grand canal making it an extremely busy area. Hotel itself is old, dingey and needs a revamp. Staff are lovely and helpful. Breakfast is disappointing to say the least. I would book somewhere further away from the crowds (for less) and that had a better bfast.

Stayed at this charming hotel twice. I love the vintage, unfussy style. It’s a true Venitian hotel. My room had a wonderful old wardrobe, and was breezy in the summer. Will only stay here when visiting Venice.

This was terrible, the hotel was in a good location but every bad thing out weighed the good things. From the looks of it the hotel almost set on fire because a light was too close to the all-fabric-walls. The holes from the moved light and they didn't fix the hole burned by the light into the wall. Next the shower was completely dysfunctional and it was practically impossible to use. The tub is gross because water doesn't drain properly. Sleep wasn't good. The beds are hard, uncomfortable and either too hot or too cold. And, the view from the window is just bricks.

The hotel is catalogued three stars, but it's not worth it. There's no elevator, television, it's a shelf against the wall, there's no closet and the room is very small. The shower is very small! The cleanliness not at the top and the room to leave the luggage: unguarded! Besides, the squawking of the pigeons all night and the view on the electric cables and air conditioning devices. The fridge was making a terrible noise.
In front of the party, the staff at the reception very friendly and the breakfast very decent.

Central location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean room though simple. Glad of the choice made, I will definitely return.

It is only in favor of the location in Ponte Rialto. It's hard to locate. It's in a alley. They can pass from alive and charge you more than the tourist rate that is more expensive than in Florence. Nice bathroom. Bed without blanket. Fourth guy with no natural air. Small wardrobe that can not be used because it hides machinery… Sic. No kettle or Cafet was no elevator. He's got four floors at least. I've seen almost fainted ladies climbing the stairs. The young man who attends is kind but burlon. It is not advisable unless you take 1st floor. It's only for Italians. It's not international.

Excellent location. Small room with little light. The staff is not attentive, something normal from Italy.

Good location The rest regular, desauyono little varied and most of the days I was or fees for the coffee.

Great location pretty much attached to the Rialto Bridge, but much to improve. Good breakfast and varied but served of N. A dark, dusty room. Hall obviously small given the historic buildings, but with reception both for the staff and for the environments. Dirty and dusty carpet and very clean common environments. Obviously seen the price some discomfort is put. In budget, but it would be very little to make it a great hotel.

The hotel is located on a hidden street very close to the Rialto bridge. We communicated in English to perfection with the staff.
Although everything has an old look it is clean, tidy and has a rich and full breakfast. No Elevator.
I was in a basic room with a double bed. It had heating, refrigerator, TV, safe, wardrobe, desk, hairdryer, bidet and Wi-Fi that was good.

Ideal location behind Rialto's bus terminal. 5 minutes from the railway station. You get off and walk a block.
On the canal Tenes two supermarkets with Retroceria to 50 meters, bread and Coop.
We stayed 3 days from the 13th to the 16th of March. Room on the first floor, clean, food, excellent heating and bathroom. The first Wi fi to go Netflix.
We stayed in couple with a 2 year old boy.
Very good breakfast. Amount of infusions to your liking. Ham, Italian salami, cheese, eggs, nutela.
I recomiendomucho.

Location excellent. Stones throw from Rialto Bridge. Hotel it itself was good. Although a bit dated it was clean and had fresh towels daily. Breakfast was continental and was nice apart from coffee machine didn't make very good coffee. Service could have been better but they were polite enough. Would go there again.

The room is very small and the bathroom is cold. The heater was not working… after I made this personal that barely spoke…

Quiet place in central location. It has beautiful views. Clean rooms with touches of classic décor. Clean and modern bathrooms. Correct and friendly attention.
The safe is small but they have a fridge in the closet. It has a climate control in the room.

It was a very nice place to eat.

I don't understand the bad reviews, what does it claim to find people in a 3 star hotel that costs half as compared to the others in the area?
We stayed in a double one night, clean sheets, clean towels, small bathroom with shower, bidet, shampoo, soap and hair dryer. Room with TV, safe and fridge (empty but there is, and it is stao useful for our drinks). In fact the breakfast is not excellent but for the price we paid I was amazed it was included! The hot drinks are from the machine (like most places abroad) and the brioches do not shine, on the other hand the Continental breakfast (salty) is not bad.
The place is strategic between San Marco and Rialto and the price is great. We had a room on the 4th floor and I did not see the elevator but on the other hand we are in Venice and you know that you have to hike.
Overall to sleep a couple of nights without too much pretensions and without making the wallet suffer the advice.

The hotel is very old and this is sloppy, the receptionist are friendly but nothing Spanish, there is hardly any gel or shampoo, the heating worked well, the Wi-Fi worked well, the Justita cleanliness, the correct breakfast.
We had hired half board (dinner) but did not dine in the hotel restaurant, they would send us to a nearby refresher, the Black Eagle, it was not bad.
The hotel is very centrally located next to the Rialto Bridge and the area is perfect.
San Marcos Square is a 5-minute walk away.

A regrettable experience: small rooms and with important cleaning deficit. Poor breakfast; Attention not excessively friendly. Very important: There is no lift and at least four floors. The good location does not compensate in any way.

Excellent price, attention, and above all location, in the center of Venice a few steps from everything, I write for those who go for historical reasons, intellectual or mere contemplation. It is not a hotel for vain or superficial people (good and they also have money). The breakfast is very good, the rooms and the bathroom are good. Everything according to the costs. It makes me very interesting that it has been a hotel for more than 500 years.

Room was nice and clean, staff not very welcoming, Wi-Fi has low signal, no lift and no help with luggage.

Small and a little claustrophobic… architectural barriers In fact there is no lift. Clean room but outside the dusty access stairs. Decent breakfast but not well organized service.

Aweful presentation. Looks dated, rooms are small and the building is badly maintained.

The breakfast was a joke.
No cheese. Jam dispensers were all empty. No paper napkins.
Good was the servies from the room.
Fresh towels. Freshly sucked.
Daily.

The buffet is super Basic, the Wi-Fi is not going, there was no heating and the hot water spoiled and it took two days to fix it.
The walls had broken because they are fabric and there was mold on the ceiling the pictures I have seen over the internet did not correspond to the actual situation of the hotel.
The only good thing is the location I have protested by the state and I have not even answered there were hotels for the same price better than this.

Bed was clean, breakfast was nice. Don't think the use of throw away plastic drinking cups is in line with their stated environmental policy. Stairs are a killer. Most of the staff were friendly. Did strike a couple who could work on their customer service.

A typical Venetian hotel, in a quiet and very well situated street, close to the Rialto Bridge. Friendly welcome.
The room we had was very quiet, has the typical decoration (tapestry with walls and carpet on the floor) but possessing all the necessary equipments (VMC, Clim, large tiled bathroom with shower and shower pmr, WC, hairdryer,. ).
Restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel.
Full breakfasts in the form of a buffet.
The room was a bit dark, which often has to be the case of other rooms considering the architecture.
I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent location in Rialto and close to shops and restaurants. San Marco is only a 10-minute walk away.
Breakfast very decent. Our room and the bathroom are small but clean. The whole thing would need a serious renovation.
However this hotel has good value for money (I had booked with Govoyage)

Excelent location! So close to Rialto bridge. 8 minutes walk to Piazza San Marco. Team is very nice, helpful, made our stay nicer. As many other hotels in Venice, it has no elevator, so remember to travel light.

The room is extremely small, old and dirty, and the facility is quite old. They even didn't has a proper hair dryer! This hotel is my nightmare in Vernice and it is over priced. Plus, they didn't offer quilt or duvet, just sheet and gross blankets. This hotel is even worse than half star, trust me.

Very bad, I book a Venetian style room and I assign a so called Mini apartment, see attached photos if they publish, a dive… Two Cheerios sofa bed with a camping mat, light in the room does not exist but luckily there was in the kitchenette in front. Double Room A net with always a nasty and so shabby camping mattress. Toilet not comment… TV that does not work, strands dangling, and hot air x heat up… If I have asthma, I get it… Disappointed I'm going to complain about the room that I booked more than a month ago. But, ma'am, we thought the bigger room would be more than liking. That's it. No you have assigned me a dive worthy of being denounced… they satisfied me the night after giving me the room I had booked but then I do not go further because even here I would have to say. I conclude by saying that it. I recommend it. A good note are the staff guys very nice and friendly and central location. Fabiola.

Small friendly and romantic Venice hotel. Well located, near the Rialto Bridge. Excellent for couple trip because the rooms are not so big. But the terraces of the superior rooms are worth. I would go back.

Really bad! NEVER AGAIN! The hotel is located in a very dirty and smelly strongly after urine lane. Unfortunately, the impression was not better in the hotel: old dirty carpets, no elevator, rooms with old doors — therefore you can hear everyone go up and down (-you remember: no elevator! ), übelst the rooms dirty and everything from the second hand shop. A real disaster. This hotel should be sought from a hygiene inspection and then quickly closed! NEVER EVER.

The nightmare bad out! After we had booked two double rooms and also immediately paid a year ago (it was in the 4 digit range), we thought, holiday in Venice will be secure (since it is very difficult to get a hotel in the high season). THOUGHT WRONG! After 11-hour trip by car, we are hungry, sweaty etc. Arrived at our hotel and began the horror for every family. We were told by the way, both double room have been cancelled and we have no claim on our room! We thought it was a bad joke, but it was that serious. The hotel employee showed me an email of booking portal (there, we have reserved this hotel on the Internet) had sent to the hotel in Italian, unfortunately we did not understand all this mail, there was written, we have cancelled the room. I have said several times, that we never never never have canceled the room, then I called several times at the booking portal and outlined the case. There has been confirmed to me several times by various employees that neither I nor the booking portal sent a cancellation at the hotel! The booking portal informed me that the hotel duty is to offer us would or higher-quality double rooms. The employees as well as the hotel manager of the hotel phoned around and shared with after 3 hours (because it was already 22 30), they had no hotel in Venice. Just outside of Venice hotel. We could not believe it.

Not bad at all. Clean rooms, perfect location, reasonable price, AC worked well in both room we used. Yes, breakfast is simple but decent and the staircase could be cleaner. Overall, I found that it was good value for the money we paid.

It's a very bad hotel. Very very bad! Breakfast very expensive and taste bad! The bed was very small and dirty. And the double people room is very small and expensive! Toilet is also dirty! It's a very bad hotel.
