Reviews of Hotel Rialto 4*
Could improve the hotel. The rooms are practically dilapidated to the limit of the taxable amount, especially the bathrooms and the carpet… to this is added the current that jumps every three for two and a fetid sewer regurgitation and the pipes that seem to pass us The ghosts of past lustres. Fantastic of course the view offered on the large canal and the Rialto bridge and the concierge service h 24 with concierge always kind and available to solve any problem and dispel any doubt or uncertainty. Fast, polite and kind also the breakfast staff and good breakfast itself, served both inside and outside the hotel …
Bad food for much money. No go…
I have been trying to get a refund for my hotel stay for months now. The hotel itself shut down and at first they said that my reservation was “non-refundable” despite it being impossible to stay at the hotel due to THEM closing their doors. Finally after threatening to dispute the charge to my card with my bank and post reviews of my experience they agreed to a refund but it would take 30 days to process because of the volume of refunds they needed to do. After 30 days they informed me that they could not refund my card they then asked for my personal banking information via email to process the refund. I refused and asked for a check instead and low and behold they cannot offer a check refund. Do not recommend this hotels shady practices at all. I am now, 2 months later, going through the dispute process as they were not able to uphold their end of our agreement. 10/10 do not recommend.
It still has that old world charm. Personnel is always so polite and friendly.
Great location very busy area.
This place is beautiful, the best way to explore is by walking. Gondola rides cost about 80 euros and can be shared by up to 6 people. Don't worry, you'll find more than enough people willing to share but it's kind of like the dating scene you have to ask first :-P.
Room was a little small and only view was over roofs and air conditioning vents. Also a little bit like a maze to get to room. Room was comfortable. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Next to public transport and short walk to major attractions. Breakfast was included and plentiful. Overall enjoyed our stay.
Beautiful bridge, you look at it from the water, swimming on a river tram. And it's better to look at it from the water. On the bridge itself is constantly a crowd of people around the clock. In general — Venice is better to watch from the water on the river tram. And in the evening it is especially beautiful!
Wonderful hotel. Stylish rooms. Great hotel staff especially concierge.
The bridge is very beautiful and the view from it offers a wonderful view of the grand canal. Lots of tourists. That's just the only downside to finding a good place overlooking this bridge you need to try. Everywhere there are supports for gondolas in connection with this photo you can see some sticks.
Amazing views, iconic structure, and famous landmark. Just don't go in the high season as you'll be bumping and jostling into a gazillion other people non-stop. Of course the high season also happens to be the hottest time of the year. That's the time you don't want to go unless you want to o get burnt to a crisp by the sun and you want to be dripping in rivers of your own sweat and inundated with the smell of sweat of every one else around you.
One of those most surreal experiences in my life. I used this bridge to get around often, it is a masterpiece in both style and function. It serves as a hub to many street vendors. Definitely check them out for souvenirs for your loved ones. There are excellent nearby restaurants along the Grand Canal that provide an excellent view of it as well. Even in pictures it looks unreal. It's stands true to the test of time.
Wonderful place to just wander around and pop in and out of shops. There is also a great selection of restaurants and food + patio seating. The bridge itself is also very Sen if and you can take many beautiful photos here. Every other day they host a market near the Rialto bridge which is worth checking out.
Very friendly hotel staff. Very clean. Breakfast excellent. In the middle of the hustle and bustle. Great!. Hotel is very old, but has been modernised.
Beautiful view from the bridge, nothing more… It was impossible to pass through the crowd of tourists, souvenirs are fabulously expensive, and you can see the beauty of Venice and get lost in the small narrow streets and on the same small bridges, where almost no one. Who likes silence, calmness, do not advise to reach the bridge, wander just without a map, just get lost for a while, I assure you, you will like)
Too many people. Day and night. And in fact the bridge is like a bridge. Watch it from the water. And the photos from the water are more interesting. Beautifully illuminated at night.
We were very impressed with this hotel. Location (right next to the Rialto bridge on the Grand Canal) is excellent. You can step off the airport boat and walk directly into the hotel. Breakfast can be enjoyed on the hotel terrace, watching the gondolas pass under the Rialto bridge. The Rialto area is packed with great shops, bars and restaurants and you are within minutes of St Mark's Square. The room was typical, dated Italian grandeur, with loads of period charm and was very clean and well maintained. Service was polite, friendly and very helpful. We called reception to resolve a problem and someone came to our room within 3 minutes. An excellent hotel for the price we paid. Recommended.
What all tourists want to see on the Rialto Bridge — I do not know, because there is nothing to see there.
First of all, the hotel's location is very advantageous (to the station is to the hotel, do not pull luggage Oh), water transportation is convenient next to the famous attractions of the Rialto Bridge, and from the hotel walk to the major attractions are also very convenient to reach. In addition, restaurants on both sides of the hotel and the canal are not afraid of no place to forage, and there are many famous shops in the vicinity of the internet ticket. Focus on the focus, the hotel official website photos are very beautiful, the scene to see not quite the same but there is no sense of loss, because the photos are very new state of shooting, the scene to see when it becomes a classical beauty, the room is large and classical. Breakfast is medium bar, but also everything, we only stayed for one night but the image of the hotel is very good! You can push!
The room corresponded to the photos. Nice stylish romantic design, wallpapers, tables, chairs, bed and lights. Professional and friendly staff. Excellent location right next to the "Rialto" bridge and "Venice water bus" stop "Vaporetto"
Old Word charm. Clean, air conditioning, bar, and nice restaurant. Next to the famous Rialto Bridge & numerous shops.
Pros: 1. Great place for sightseeing and enjoying the canals of Venice. 2. Suitable for photograph taking, especially in the evening/night. 3. Many accessible water bus and other vehicles from there, as this place is considered as the most important spot of Venice canal system. Cons: 1. A bit hard to find. Way there, especially from "the other side" of canal can be tricky and takes a mile away. 2. Too many people jam-packing the bridge, makes it very hard to have a good spot on doing anything you want. 3. Shops there close early, circa 9pm-10pm.
Staff was friendly & accommodating. Room was gorgeous with a view overlooking the canal & a patio. Location is very convenient, central to anything you could hope to see in Venice.
It doesn't feel like the sunset is the best viewing point bridge on both sides of the house maybe the sun is very good can take a picture of the house glittering scene.
This is the most beautiful and majestic Bridge of Venice, many people pass through this place to move or for tourism; There are many shops, mostly souvenirs and gifts; In short, all magnificent but, really too many people, it is difficult to take a picture without some tourists do not go over or you stick somewhere; Shops that expose Chinese souvenirs for a lot of money and the essence of these places fades into thin air. The restaurants that use the bridge as a frame have very high prices and rather dubious quality, places built ad hoc to catch the unsuspecting foreign tourists.
She lived nearby. The bridge is beautiful. To walk with pleasure and take a picture, come early in the morning. Or take a stroll in the evening to see the canal. In the daytime-a crowd, Mamma Mia. Unless you're a fan of crowds and shopping. If you are near, I highly recommend to go to the fish market!
Venice. Most famous and trampled Bridge of the lagoon city. From here you can enjoy a unique and breathtaking panorama. The shops at the sides offer any kind of merchandise. Maybe too touristy. Need to add more?
It is the Rialto Bridge is one of the symbols of Venice. It is the oldest bridge in the city and certainly the most famous.
At the beginning, the connection between the two shores of the Grand Canal took place, with means of fortune, for example with a bridge of boats one beside the other (at that time it was called Bridge of the coins).
A real bridge, it became by Nicolò Barattiero (famous also for other works in Venice), which made it build in wood, supported by large poles embedded in the ground.
The bridge over the centuries became increasingly important for the connection to the homonymous is important market.
The bridge over the centuries was rebuilt several times, because for various causes it was irreparably damaged.
Finally, after a long period, dedicated to examining various projects was chosen what envisaged the construction of a single arch marble bridge, a novelty for those times, the inauguration took place in 1591.
Its measurements are 48 meters long, 22 in width and over 7 in height.
Beautiful are also the shops that are arranged on its two sides.
Amazing view of the grand canal, though it's not a must see, especially if you plan on taking a vaporetto ride at some point. I think it's impossible to visit any time during the day when it isn't overcrowded with people. Try to be respectful of others while they take their pictures, and wait your turn before trying to take your own. Everyone is looking to make the same great memories and take the same unforgettable pictures.
Very nice place. We rented an apartment in this neighborhood which has a lot of charm. On foot it is very close to St. Mark's square. The bridge is beautiful and really offers a beautiful view.
I must say this second time around was much better compare to my first visit a decade ago. I know I was due back for a visit so here I was. I wish I had more time. I was only there for 2 days. Well 1.5 but it wasn't enough. I would definitely come again. Don't know much about the history of this bridge but it is quite famous and pretty at night. Do come by during day and night. The view and scenary is sure incomparable.
Very interesting structure in Venice, there are shops on the bridge, it is very crowd during the day. Visiting Rialto bridge in the early morning or late evening would be much nicer. You can take water bus from Roma plaza to here. If you walk to the left, there is food market, a lot fresh seafood, vegetables and fruits.
Just gorgeous. It attracts however a lot of people attention therefore to the bags. The shops located on the bridge are also very interesting.
A bridge certainly impressive by its structure and its arch for the time. But really a lot of people. For shopping we find luxury shops elsewhere and the really artisanal products are many can also find a greater choice at best price in the small streets to the market.
A night at the hotel Rialto very nice The hotel is right next to the Rialto Bridge.
Nothing great to say about this hotel other than location and a decent shower. Some serious investment needed into beds and noisy air conditioning. Sadly would not recommend.
Very trader at the expense of the monument. Not very nice, full of world and salesman of Chinese things. Very famous but as often very overdone. One of the only bridges over the great Canal so inescapable of this one fact. For the rest everyone will judge.
Great view of the water way. Gets very busy so go early or late. To get good pictures. There is shopping in middle of bridge that is good for souvenirs. You can barter on pricing.
Unique bridge in the world. Worth seeing. The bad the amount of people. But it is worth.
From the edge of the canal views of the bridge are magnificent, the bridge stands out for its architectural quality. It is very enjoyable and recommendable climb the stairs to enjoy the view of the canal from the bridge. In spite of this, the bridge is incredibly crowded almost all day. Taking a pretty picture is complicated. It is also noted that it is the only bridge that exists in the canal along a broad stretch, which is the only way to pass from one side to the other side of the channel. That makes it more distressing still the task of crossing it if you have to go to some site because of the number of tourists.
Curiosities: 1) The first Rialto Bridge was built in 1180, by the architect Nicolò Barattieri, very well known in Venice.
2) The bridge, over the centuries, has inspired many internationally renowned artists, such as Pietro Aretino and Vittore Carpaccio.
3) in 1310 was destroyed by the conjurors of the insurrection led by Bajamonte Tiepolo, fleeing from the troops of the Doge.
4) The bridge was rebuilt larger and drawling, supported by 6 pylons.
5) in 1588 it was decided to build the stone Bridge, 28 meters long and 7 high, supported on the bottom by 12 thousand piles of elm wood. The work was carried out by the engineer Antonio Da Ponte.
6) San Marco and San Teodoro, the patron saints of Venice, were carved by Tiziano on the arch of the bridge that looks towards the Ca ' d'oro, on the north side.
7) 6 workshops are placed on each side of the bridge.

One of the bridges, the most emblematic of Venice, very close to the market, should one trust the police, but it is not so, we asked one as to go to St. Mark's square and commanded us in the opposite direction, in the market to buy tangerines to a hindu and they were doing stupid to not give us the change, should be careful. From there on out, the bridge is very nice!
In the early morning beautiful empty, so you can enjoy the view of the Canal Grande. As soon as the first buses or cruise ships are there, it becomes an ordeal. So at night or in the morning. But it is worth seeing!
One of the most beautiful and historical places and monuments of Venice from which you can enjoy a magnificent view on the Grand Canal. You can not miss a photo: In fact it is literally stormed by tourists from all over the world in every day of the year. Rialto is a strategic point because they wind the streets that lead both to San Marco and San Polo and to the railway. From here you can quickly reach both the Teatro Goldoni and the Fenice. The seat of the commune is at the foot of the bridge.
Very worth seeing.
At the bottom of the bridge you will find beautiful places to linger on the water.
You watch the gondolas.
Overrated! Not ugly either, it is a very nice bridge but… It's still a bridge. The best view stays from the Canal. Attention: phobic of the crowd, abstain. Visit in April, the bridge was crowded with people.
Beautiful bridge. The most famous of all the composition in Venice. There are trade pavilions.
A good place to sleep and enjoy.
Nice but totally crowded. We recommend the Rialto a few meters further, simply ask a local for directions. The fish market is gigantic! Morning between 8-13 a. M.
Very good location… Venetian ambience… staff to small care… I recommend.
NOT air conditioned. Yes, the air-conditioning gear exists, but in the 'winter' (April) the owner turns off the cooling ability. When we stayed we were so hot at night we needed to open the window, which was noisy, and let mosquito's in which bit my wife horribly. We complained of course, but were told that the staff had no ability to turn on the cooling. They did give us a portable fan to move the hot air around. Other than the air-conditioning, this is a three star hotel, not a four star. It's saving grace is it's amazing location.
It is a bridge that crosses the grand Canal, crowded place of many people. It's very nice. It has a great façade, ideal for taking pictures. Facial Walk. Many restaurants and sales around you.
Italians mingle with international flair. The resulting impressions should be experienced. The warm light, the many people, the countless alleys and the old stylish local and shops are impressive.
Very nice bridge. Like the rest of Venice. I don't even know what to add to a million of the same reviews) )
This bridge is really nice, hence my 4 star. Beautiful, but only from afar! When entering, choose the middle way not to be crushed by tourist masses!
This bridge is spectacular. It's stunning to look at! I needed to find somewhere in Venice to propose to my girlfriend and I couldn't think of a better place. It can be extremely busy on the bridge itself so I decided to do it by the pontoons to the left of the bridge (heading over it from the hard rock cafe rock shop) and have the bridge in the background whilst I got on one knee to ask my, now, fiance to marry me. She loved it and it made the whole experience extremely special for both of us. You need to see this bridge if you are heading to Venice!
The famous and beautiful passage Bridge of the unmissable Rialto of Venice since it is one of the three bridges on the Grand Canal.
Too bad that there are often too many people preferred the morning visit more enjoyable and less stressful!
Beautiful beautiful spot in Venice. We stood for a while watching the Venetian world go by from the bridge. It’s a lovely view. Love the little stalls in the middle of the bridge. We bought a few souvenirs from one of the shops there and it was cheaper than the shops in the Rialto market. The market place around the bridge is also lovely to walk through. Probably my favourite spot in Venice. And we met this adorable seagull wanting to pose for the crowds too :)
Superb luxury, and located right next to the world famous Rialto bridge. 5-15 min walk to all the sights absolutely amazing rooms! Stay here if you can.
Very central Location. Beautiful view of the grand Canal.
Hotel close to everything. Boats, shops. Restaurant. There is a very nice antique furniture.
Best room with view over Canal Grande and the Rialto bridge. The pictures talk for them self… room 408 gives a great view (maybe the best) over Rialto bridge and Canal Grande. The room has It's own balcony. The hotel is clean and has good service. Recommended.
Well, it's one of the most touristy and turistizzati places on the planet… I don't usually make a big impression.
Nothing of this bridge, apart from perhaps the view from afar, looks authentic.
You can't say it's ugly though; From the height of the span you can enjoy a discreet view.
Beautiful bridge, full of history. Venice! Oh the love. For my taste too many business of modern vintages, should remain only the old. Still, it is an amazing bridge, definitely a must, landmark for visitors and locals. I want to go back to Venice! Visit really worth and effort. Beautiful by day, beautiful at night. Amazing Italy.
It is the oldest bridge that crosses the grand Canal.
Ideal for sunset Photography.
TIP: Beware of seagulls lurking and can take food out of your hands!
How do you review Venice with less than 5 stars?! I am not interested in the Venetians or the tourists who flock to the Venetian calle. I love everything about Venice and the Rialto Bridge, together with the Accademia Bridge, the Scalzi Bridge and the bridge of the Constitution, which cross the Grand Canal, in the city of Venice are romantic and beautiful as well as unforgettable. Obviously on a rainy day the city doesn't make it like when it's sunny. But at least once in your life walk the city that one day will disappear into the sea!
Mythical place of Venice that I enjoyed in half tint because the sky kindly but surely gratified of a fine rain incessant. Damage! But we will return to review the site under a great sun.
More impressive in real! It is imposing and shiny! The shops installed on and around less kept from their superb than the monument.
The Rialto Bridge is located on the Grand Canal, is majestic and imposing. On the bridge and its surroundings there are a lot of commercial premises with a great variety of products and prices, we find here of souvenir small and beautiful masks of the Carnival of Venice really economic, 6x5 €.
It is also at this point in which you can hire a gondola ride at a lower price and touring the Grand Canal, because on the sides of the Plaza San Marcos offer you a journey through the Grand Canal to €50 per person while at Rialto you can get it for 30-35 € per pers Ona.
The Rialto bridge is the oldest of the four bridges along the Grand Canal in Venice. Long and large steps lead the way up and down the bridge, with viewing platforms on either side for capturing the lovely views of the Grand Canal. Along both sides leading up and down the bridge are shops, mainly tourist ones (with tourist prices! ). It's a pleasant bridge to walk across and get a great view of the city.
Beautiful hotel with a great view from certain suite.
Spectacular. All very clean and good access. Good breakfast. Come back another time. The service is very good. Nice of you all.
We were just in awe of the beauty. The work done to restore this fantastic landmark was well worth it. We visited by day & night. Each has it's own rewards. We were given a moonlit night with clear crisp sunshine days. It can be expensive but at the same time, it's Venice and it's amazing!
Honestly, I was expecting much more. I mean, it is a cool bridge, but not all that in a box of chocolates. It is interesting, but there are some many great things in Venice that it is hard to say that the Rialto Bridge is a must-go place. It is a great link between islands, connecting Venice. It is an avenue of transport more than anything. But you have to go, I mean, it is part of the culture. There is a Hard Rock store at one side of it, so that was a plus for my wife, although I am not a big fan.
It's a beautiful bridge where you can watch a big canal. There are a lot of boats, ships and even some gondolas. On the terrestrial side, you can find souvenir shops and many things in special glass of that area. A lot of people go around.
The bridge of yesterday's trade… And today.
An interesting piece of architecture… where you have to play elbows to get through!
But especially access to the fish market area for those who are gourmet.
Crossing this bridge across the grand Canal and feeling how the water passes and the gondolas below you is one of the most enjoyable things I have lived in Venice. This bridge has two rows of shops on the sides in which while you cross the grand Canal you can buy some souvenirs but it is also true that these stores are much more expensive than any other store of that type in the city.
A must see. Image of Venice. Climb on the terrace of the department store nearby you will have a nice view of the bridge and the Grand Canal. (Attention must be reserved on the internet before)
It is really imposing when you stand in front of this bridge. Venice is really worth a trip not only because of the Realtob return. It's amazing how you could build buildings like this before. It looks super nice even at night when you sit down in a restaurant with a good meal or wine and look right at the bridge.
Superb location, good views. The hotel staff are great.
In a press I would have been certainly more comfortable and I would have had more space. Too many people per sqm, but impossible to claim the opposite from one of the most beautiful and famous bridges in the world. Still worth a visit and a selfie. Be quick and do not stop too much otherwise you risk the implosion. Good luck, O fearless.
Beautiful bridge, with a breathtaking, exciting view. Venice is definitely to be seen at least once in a lifetime. A characteristic that jumps to the eye is the tranquillity due to the absence of public and private vehicles. Beautiful in the narrow alleys of the city. It remains so very clean, it seems fake so it is beautiful… it's just from movie set.
Incredible structure with a spectacular view of the canals. Go there for really nice sunset pictures and just to people watch. I think the atmosphere in the evening especially when it starts to cool down is soothing. Can get very busy during peak hours though.
For the restaurant for me c. Is zero entry squid shrimp cooked in the microwave so full of water and for pork is said braised. It happened cooked in sauce so no taste a good canteen food for my part very very disappointed.
The view is great even in bad weather. However, the bridge was pretty much unfulfilled. But it was to be expected. In the late afternoon it will be much quieter.
The bridge is very nice with very good shops and restaurants. I think the prices in both store and restaurant are robbery. Encourage people not to be fooled by price abuses at 99 percent of Venice's trade. They are thieves take water and snacks and if you can gassta the minimum and enjoy its streets, monuments and channels.
This is the biggest and oldest bridge in Venice. There are about 24 shops on the actual bridge. There are some places to eat and shop on either side as well as a public washroom. Gondola rides are also available but be careful you time them. They charge 80 euros for 30 minutes but they will bring you back in 15 20 minutes if you don't keep an eye on the clock. We went in January so the bridge wasn't as rammed as other people are saying.
The Rialto Bridge is a playful element of Venice, which lets you guess the vanity of its owners. It is rather than just a transition across the channel. With its roof it is a unique type that has been copied in some places, but the image of the original can not reach the water. The commercially used bridge is integrated into the nearby cityscape, its ornamentation adapted to the buildings. Visiting Venice without having committed the bridge, almost no one is ready.
We were in a large room with a view of the Rialto bridge, excellent. The staff very attentive and professional. Very good breakfast.
Beautiful places where there are. You can't leave Venice without crossing it. It's beautiful both day and night.
Superb situation. Charm of a place in another time.
Super! Nothing to say breakfast more than perfect.
Friendly staff! Amazing views from the canal rooms, and such a great location! When we return to Venice in the distant future we will be staying here again.
Strategic area, very central location a few steps from the Rialto Bridge. Very clean comfortable nice rooms. Really good. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Great to cross over and see the great Canal of Venice. It's a crowded viewpoint, it will cost you to find a place to peek into the canal. You can also rent a gondola, haggle or look for a better price, and pass under the majestic Rialto Bridge. Perhaps the most beautiful bridge in all of Venice.
The famous Rialto Bridge in Venice. You must have seen like so much else in the city in any case. Of course very overflowing, too soon any time of day. Outlook is top; But it is best to look from afar (e. G. From the Vaporetto lines 1 and 2). Now restored and without scaffolding. In the middle of the bridge with shops. In my estimation but overpriced. But: also other bridges of the city are very beautiful.
Nothing The location is super! The beds are great! But the breakfast is very meager! No vegetables, in general!
Quite a bridge! Nice to look sideways, from above, from one shore or the other. Nice to pass by in Vaporetto or gondola. Nice fermarcisi over and take two photos to the panorama, because if you do not take photos from the Rialto you have not been in Venice… Nice to climb it and go down, look at the shop windows of the bridge (which however… are not very Venetian DOC). Nice to check out from any Calle and see it from afar. Well, a nice bridge.
Yes, the famous bridge. Unfortunately, a modern public transport stop is so close to the fact that the bridge is no longer so easy to get to the photo. Even with electronic displays, when the next water bus drives. The romantic Middle Ages are over here. Probably also necessary for the masses of people.
I am currently staying at this hotel and have been a guest for less than 6 hours and can guarantee I will never be back. At check in, I asked the front desk for change so I could pay the taxi, they sent me to the bar next door instead. Apparently there is a hotel policy that you have to drop your keys off every time you leave the hotel and show your passport to pick them up at night. No one told us that at check in. When we returned after an evening put, the night manager accused us of stealing a key. Luckily, we had our passports on us. When he saw we were guests, he (Gabriella) refused to apologize or put me in contact with another manager. I have never been so insulted by a rude hotel staff and the policy of waiting to check and pick up keys each time you leave and enter is absurd! Do not waste your time with this hotel! Update: Management met with us to apologize for the way that we were treated. We were later comped a bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates.
I was expecting something more from a 4 star of this caliber. Instead I found myself, among other things that did not go, the dustbin bag forgotten by the house Keeper after the rearrangement. Bah.
Clean and very elegant rooms at a reasonable price. Good breakfast and the location (next to the Rialto Bridge) is central and close a bit to everything. Great stay.
The service is bar none. The front desk was friendly and accommodating. We arrived from our cruise 3 hours early, and they allowed us to check-in, no problem. The hotel is unique and beautiful. Be sure to check out the panoramic terrace! Oh, and during the winter months, the cost is VERY reasonable.
Very nice, bridge that should be visited if you go to Venice. It's good to be in shape because of the number of stairs. There are shops in the center, the typical for tourists. Very popular, so there are always many tourists swarming. There are no vending machines. I recommend it, you have views of the channel, I said, you have to visit and take a picture at least.
The largest and most beautiful bridge in all of Venice is a must-pass, in addition to its beautiful stamp and the views it provides you from the Grand Canal, because of the peculiarity of its construction with shops on both sides.
Do not forget to go under the Bridge of Sighs in gondola, remember to go under give you a kiss of love, which say will be eternal love with your partner.
To say about the most famous bridge in Venice. Cross the Grand Canal and have one of the best views on it. It is the first bridge built on the grand Canal and has small built buildings (booths) for trading on the same bridge that make it unique.
Great location, really a stone's throw from the bridge. Maybe 4 stars a little too much — furnishings a little dated and please… The wool blankets dating back to the 15 '-18 ' war we could also replace them! ' but still valid.
The especially in tourist area, with permission of the square of San Marco, in Venice.
Nice walk, shops… no more and views on one side half good and on the other a bit regular.
Everything and that you have to visit, is a nice and crowded place, you like to be visited by the hustle and the atmosphere.
If you know how to move and you like stroll a bit, you can find good places to eat some good quality street food.
Excellent location. The breakfast is good but in an awkward place. Rooms 500€ per night beautiful but to access them there are long and steep stairs. Have lifts for wheelchairs but you must operate an employee that he was not. The common rooms could correspond to a 3 star hotel.
Lace location, exciting rooms.
Unfortunately, ours was with a view into an alley, and not of the canal.
Breakfast fine.

Nice place to be in Venice. Good views and photo point. Also good restaurants around to admire Italian food and beauty of this area with glass of wine.
Very friendly staff, amazing location. Rooms are dated (might be going for a traditional elegant look) but comfortable. Two single beds on lieu of a double. May be slightly too highly classed, 3.5 more likely. Breakfast was uninspiring. High level of cleanliness. We were in a tucked away room without a view, but was quiet considering its proximity to one of the largest tourist spots in the city.
Nice bridge but packed with tourists. Italy has much more beautiful sites that are totally ignored by tourists. If you have to choose, I would skip the bridge on go the other sites.
The view of the grand Canal, shops and shops, the great tourist street of tourists make this place a forced passage in the visit to the city. Tip: Do not follow the indication signs to the end. You will be at a crossroads of two roads take to the right and you will find yourself at the level of the canal with opposite the imposing arch of the bridge with the comings and goings of the boats.
Beautiful bridge. Don't see why it is different from any other bridge, or everything else in Venice! But surely keeps most of the tourists attracted, and away from all the other corners of this gorgeous city. If you want to take a good picture I recommend taking the water bus going under the bridge.
Great location near ferry station and attractions. It was a family trip to Venice. We have booked a suite and one regular room for 3 nights and the suite room space, furniture and view were excellent. You may note that ironing is not available in the room and can be served by extra charge. Otherwise, it was great staying.
It may have been beautifully once but it just bustling with tourists and many of the other bridges across the city are much quieter and just more romantic. However if you enjoy a high street atmosphere then make a visit. Photograph from a distance is best.
Three starts may seem harsh. It is a beautiful bridge. However, Venice is jamb packed with beautiful sights. Venice is also packed with people all trying to make a living by selling and trading with representatives from all over the world. Pretty much the way it has been for hundreds of years. This is part of its charm. The Rialto is another of those "must see"s. The baubles and trinkets are overpriced as you would expect in such a place.
We really enjoyed our stay. Central location and easy access to boat traffic as well as friendly staff make this hotel stand out. Breakfast is more than fine and the small bar right on the Rialto Bridge is very casual and offers the best views of the Grand Canal. We like to come back.
Good hotel right view in front of the rialto bridge over the Grand Canal. Structure with many clean although the bathrooms are a little dated. Friendly and helpful staff.
Be careful if you are going to go to this hotel because they have rooms as 80 metres from the hotel called ca rialto, are on its website and it is easy to confuse you. That was my case and do not believe that it was subject of price since pay about € 110 per night, the rooms have no reception, I pass fear, because there is no security and the stairs seems that you will leave Jack the Ripper, also is in a rear, dark Street (in truth that's scary) there is no elevator. At the reception, went meet me. In addition to being very unpleasant, very sharp. To go to the room that is not in the hotel, we accompany the very unpleasant buttons even helped me with the suitcase. Very very crappy buffet. I can only say one good thing and it is that clean. I hope I can serve my opinion, I have travelled several times to Venice and not helpful to this hotel.
A bit shabby and bloody hot because of a broken airconditioning.
Good location but old rooms and toilets.
Has no elevator. It is located in an alleyway with no front door.
Wonderful place to stay the hotel treats the guest very well. I love the free breakfast and the cocktail hours.
In the heart of Venice. Professional and helpful staffs.
I stayed two nights, it's a nice busy hotel in a very good location next to Rialto bridge, one of the most important busy bridges, water bus station also next to the hotel, and a lot of shops and dinners surrounding the hotel. Canal view room are beautiful and makes you feel venice even more. But, the hotel and the rooms are a bit old, and due to the location it's bit noisy, in night it's the bus station that operate till midnight, in morning, it's catering boats that starts from 7:00 AM delivering goods to the shops around Rialto Bridge. In general, it's an excellent hotel in Venice to stay in specially that the hotel services and staff are professional and fast. note: 2nd floor or higher, to reduce street noise and for more privacy. Khalil Hawari, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
They should have warned that our room will be exactly over the station. Stuff is not very helpful. Artificial smiles : (Moved to another hotel almost twice cheaper and like it more. On, yes, and connection was unreliable and very slow.
Great hotel, great price, bang in the centre of Venice. You have got the market on the rialto bridge and the local fruit market, the water coaches just outside the hotel, and just over the rialto bridge you have your pick of about 15 restaurants, Witch of an evening is great to spend your first night in Venice looking over the grand canal. Will defiantly return to Venice and stay in thrs same hotel.
Does anyone know the email add for hotel rialto pls.
Great historic location. Friendly helpful staff and also did a free tour if you were interested. Breakfast service was adequate, but room size and amenities in rooms need work.
Had a rest in this hotel in April 2007. I have long thought about a trip to Venice and, when it was the long-awaited vacation, immediately issued tour. The choice of hotel is made independently. Agencies offered not a lot. Went a short way, i. E. — price-quality. This hotel is in a good area, near the largest bridge in Venice Rialto Bridge. Rooms are very nice. Since I was paid for the room, I was asked to look at and choose a room to your taste. Rooms are very different. The difference in sizes of rooms, and in color, and in bed. I chose the number of the «Rialto classic». It is a big room, his color I liked (red bed and in the same style Wallpaper, but the furniture was green). Was version of the Suite. Maybe he was and too big for me, given that I lived there alone, but I wanted it. Yes, another thing was the beds. Many of the rooms, just shifted two singles, this European standard. The room has everything you need and even more. The hotel staff is very good. Place. On the first day, I even had to Piazza San Marco. The hotel has a sauna and fitness. Sauna worth 15eur per hour fitness 3 Euro, and a great massage — 20 Euro. To diet in the hotel, many say. Twice got up for Breakfast. Breakfast, as always resorts — nothing special. Personally, I like to try local food and therefore ate at the cafe and restaurants.
