Very pleasant and positive experience, unsurpassed concierge!

We stayed in this hotel for one night, from Saturday to Sunday, me and a friend of mine. The hotel is very nice, in a perfect location for visiting the city on foot. A stone's throw from the Teatro La Fenice and a few minutes from Piazza San Marco. The staff, especially the receptionists, were very kind and friendly. We highly recommend this property!

Great staff, great location.

We stayed for three nights in this is a truly lovely hotel with great staff.
The location is excellent, right in the middle of San Marco and close to the best clothing stores and restaurants in the city. The room was spacious and clean; the breakfast was very rich and I would like to give a particular note to the hotel furniture with a contrast between the red and pink that reminded me of the hotels of the past but always with a touch of modernity.
Highly recommended.

I visited Italy Venice for the first time and with my
Parents for my dads 60th I can with full confidence give a 5X star recommendation / review to Duodo Palace. The customer service from the second I walked in was amazing, room was so clean, breakfast was wonderful and they even gave us a packed breakfast to take with us on the day we were leaving as we had to leave super early.

Too much expensive. Facilities do not match the 4 star hotels.

Courteous staff and very helpful. Hotel has so much charm, great location… near shops and restaurants. Quite a distance from airport…

Room was disgusting. Electrical plugs falling out walls. Plumbing falling apart. Room so cramped could hardly breathe. Food was quite nice though.

This small hotel is located close to S. Marco which is a major attraction. Somewhat hidden in the back alleys (not easy to find by walking). The staff were friendly and very attentive. The room we got was comfortable, but with low ceilings and a small bathroom with no shower setup, just a tub and shower head. At times there’s unpleasant smell in the bathroom that could be from the back alley water, not sure.

In August it is difficult to find a quality service in Venice. The Duodo staff is outstanding, the location is great and the view from some rooms is unparalleled. Definitely a 5 star. Thank you.

The Duodo Palace Hotel surpassed our expectations for ambience, location and service. The decor and room size was lovely with gondoliers singing outside our window. One of our party was injured and the staff could not possibly have been more accommodating. We were thoroughly impressed, and want to return for another visit. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else after this experience!

The rooms are very large and comfortable. They have a private dock on a canal so you can be directly transferred to the hotel. Booked last minute and it was really affordable.

Nestled near two theaters an close walking distance to St Marks square. We spent several nights here while exploring Venice. Rooms have original decor including a multitude of Murano lights and fixtures. Canal access and walking path accessible.

We stayed in a room that didn't look at all like the pictures but it was good enough. My wife and I got room 209. I assumed it was on the 2nd floor, but it was more like it was on 2.5 floor. I'm not a tall guy (5'11") and my only complaint about the room was the ceiling was probably only a a few inches more 6 feet (probably 6'1" or 6'2"). The air conditioner would turn off in the middle of the night, but it was still cool enough. The room was a great location, had good hot water pressure, and an elevator. Good stay so far.

Good location thats all. Rooms are nothing as shown on website. Definitly not 4 Star. Staff friendly but Managers dont care. Definitly no views and bathrooms need upgrading. Do not pay extra for "Deluxe Rooms".

Very well very clean and gen very simpatyque near has come back breakfast very well served we liked.

Location location location is what this small hotel has to offer. The 4 star may be a stretch and the bathroom water drips continuously after every flush so had to shut off the water completely from the bottom valve. However, the service is great and the place is very clean.

Centrally located but not easy to find. Hotel is very nice, clean, all staff nice and helpful. Always happy!

A small beautiful hotel in the heart of Venice.

I could give 5 stars, because I found myself well, but have not been able to solve an inconvenience regarding the room assigned me!

Great place. The rooms are large, at least mine was with an upgrade to a king bed that was very comfortable. The pillows were flat though. Bring your own. The staff was very friendly, and the location is walking distance to everything on San Marco. The breakfast was adequate for the 10 euro/person charge.

Nice hotel. Very welcoming staff, in Italian French and English at least.
Very nice, classic Venetian style room, could be refreshed and put to the taste of the day, but they fit well with the atmosphere of the city.
In short, to advise.

Room was small… Has stunk… otherwise clean. It is enough for the overnight stay. But that's not all. They had breakfast outside.

Lovely hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location. Our room was lovely. (208) a junior suite. Great size and beautifully decorated. Bathroom good too. Only slight complaint is that there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Staff was kind, helpful, and knowledgable about the area. Room was clean and very nice. Would definitely come back if we ever make it back to Venice.

Excellent location in the heart of the San Marco district. Friendly staff overall. Breakfast very decent. The Deco is a bit dated though.

The rooms were very nice and luxurious. Very full service. The hotel is in a very central part minutes from all the ports you need and from the most beautiful parts of Venice. The only thing is that the restaurant lacked a little more for the menu. The breakfasts were typical Italian with breads, ham, cheese and eggs to boil but a little light if you are hungry or you are accustomed to more American breakfasts.

Very central. Pity of the mosquitoes, that sting, and the little pressure of the shower water. Clean and friendly.

The staff were the best part of this hotel. The room was pretty bad, in fact, this was the worst hotel of our tour through Italy. The bathroom door opened in such a way that it was a pain to enter/leave. Everytime we flushed the toilet, it would let out a loud, high pitched squeal. If one of us had to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, we couldn't flush for fear of the loud squealing waking up the other person. I reserved a double bed and we got two twin beds that were pushed together. It was a very uncomfortable night. The wall behind my suitcase left powdered plaster residue on the outside of my bag. This room is in need for an overhaul. The breakfast room was uncomfortably crowded and didn't have any hot food except for toast, prepackaged waffles (to put in their toaster) and boil-your-own eggs. Great location though.

This place is a palace in every sense. The staff are fantastic, friendly, efficient and very helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and welcoming. The food is delicious. I highly recommend this place for those in search of quality and value for money.

Mediocre at best. Duodo Palace Hotel engages in false advertising—no complimentary breakfast, no views of Venice, cramped rooms and crowded community areas. Duodo is not without redeeming qualities, but certainly not worth the money or the hype. How is this place possibly 4 star or Michelin rated? Good grief.

Great hotel with excellent service. Room was very nice. The only minus is that the view from the room was blocked by exterior windows and that the hotel is difficult to find.

Room and hotel was clean. Fairly decent options for breakfast. Front desk staff could be friendlier and more patient. Did wake up with a few bug bites. Location was fairly good. Recommend coming in by water taxi and adding a tour on your entrance if possible.

One word, fabulous. Located in the heart of Venice but quiet. Beautiful Venetian style room. Friendly and attentive staff. A wonderful stay of 3 days. I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful hotel! a little tricky to get there, but who cares! while you look for this hotel you will enjoy every minute the amazing views and energy that Venice offers, the breakfast is really good and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it =) looking forward to come back soon.

Located on the banks of a canal (you can walk from an entrance on the opposite side) is a 3-storey Venetian-style hotel. There is a bar for breakfast in the morning and offers various amenities such as breakfast in the room, transport of luggage in the room, dry cleaning, etc. It is located a few steps from St. Mark's Square and a few hundred meters from the Rialto bridge.

Very good location, nice Hotel, Breakfast and friendliness of the staff, are regarded as mediocre. In the room with us "the air conditioning was broken" the room was permanently heated to 26℃. Should not happen in such a Hotel!

taxis direct free boat of the hotel via the island of Burano. They advise the small restaurant and other local pastries with plan… Finally simply perfect!

Compared to all the comments read on the Venetian hotels, apparently one the stands out. The room is big and comfortable. The bathroom is large, clean, and no water problem. Breakfast is correct and no more. The staff are lovely and speaks french. To conclude, we find very interesting offers on the internet.

Cons — Internet gets disconnected pretty often, rooms too dark for my liking (hence opened the windows up a little)

Nice staffs, great location and room was good for prices, I enjoyed it.

No set-off. Standard room. Not suitable for people suffering from claustrophobia. Room 10 meters. I do not suffer, but I had a feeling that "bricked up, the demons". In the bathroom shower straight on the floor, and written 4 *. Conder. Worked on heating, it was 27 degrees. Perhaps all this is not true for other types of rooms. The pros: very cheap for the Centre, we have 107 USD per night with breakfast. Speaking of breakfasts: free muesli, cheese (1 species, and we in Italy), 2 kinds of ham sausage, bread. Extra charge: scrambled eggs, fried eggs (8 euros! ), boiled.

I loved the look of the hotel in every way the staff were great and rooms were beautifull it could have done with a restaurant.
