Review of Hotel Concordia 4*

Overall not a bad hotel at all, I will break this down into good points and bad points. Great location Amazingly friendly and helpful staff members Things that really irritated me on my stay and may be the reason I will try a different hotel next time. Two single mattresses pushed together to create a queen size bed… I hate it when hotels do this as the mattresses split during the night and you end up in the hole, the mattress also leans inwards because of this issue so I have been waking up with a very sore back every day. Only 1 power point in the bedroom and it's next to the door. So if you like to have your phone charging beside your bed, forget about it! The second Power point is in the bathroom and does not actually work in fact I'm not actually sure it's a power point :/ I had to ask staff for a power board to charge our two phones and camera beside the door … it's really annoying. Bed sheets… they do not use a quilt cover, only place the quilt between two sheets and of course during the night the sheets move and you have an uncovered quilt… this irritates me as I don't believe the quilt itself gets washed between each guest. Laundry washing prices are astronomical… we have been travelling Europe for 5 weeks already and have a few small bags of clothes to wash. No more than a small white load and a small dark load. There is no bulk discounts, for example. Its 10€ Per t-shirt with or without ironing. For the very high price they are charging I would of expected a very comfortable stay. But I supposes we are paying location.
