The location is absolutely fantastic!

I was with my dog they made me find the bowls for him in the room staff very helpful kind amazing location and breathtaking view.

Lovely rooms, wonderful service, great breakfast, amazing location; highly recommend.

We arrived here yesterday afternoon for 3 days and the scenery is wonderful and the hotel is very friendly and the staff are very helpful and the room is very clean and quiet the meals are very good too.

The restaurant of the hotel with a splendid view. We were able to taste good Italian dishes, little in the plate but very tasty. It's worth the detour, especially with the sunset.

Very clean with spacious bathroom. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The dinner on the 3rd floor rooftop terrace was outstanding and probably has the best dining view around.

The place was beautiful and centrally located on the water near st marks square and was pleasantly surprised by the bathroom and windows.

This place once stood the house of the famous Vivaldi. Now it's just a hotel named after him. Nothing remarkable.

Super location and we were very friendly welcome and can recommend the hotel very well. We'll be back for sure. The roof terrace is great and you can eat and drink in the evening sat comfortably there… away from the hustle and bustle of the people.

Very comfortable and clean room with a lovely view. Only a short walk from St mark's square. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Only downside is shower is a bit small.

Small hotel overlooking the lagoon. Comfortable and well furnished rooms, great breakfast and helpful and friendly staff.

We stayed in the 'princess apartment' a short walk away but maintained by the hotel. The rooms were lavishly decorated, however, there were a few minor hiccups but nothing to take away from our trip. Wi-Fi was non existent although supposedly offered; although we did not push for it to be fixed. Really good location near San Marco-Zaccaria and good links to the airport and surrounding islands. Pleasantly surprised to be offered a welcome Bellini/Prosecco on the terrace bar (No longer a surprise for you! )

Former home of Vivaldi. At 100 meters from San Marco. Rooms rather for 2 people. Good breakfast.

Very comfortable. Walking distance to much of central Venice. Staff is helpful. Rooms are decorated in a classical elegant style with plenty of room. We had a room with a view and it was well worth it to see the rhythm of the day from early morning deliveries to the evening sunset and to the night lights and activity. The hotel has a water front terrace on top that serves cocktails in the late afternoon so an October to November sunset is wonderful. Good breakfast. Also has a restaurant in the evening in the terrace that is good.

A great view of the lagoon. Impeccable service. A staff to listen. Ideally located of everything.

A charming hotel with a view * * * * *
After several stays we are always happy to stay there.

We just arrived home after spending our 10 year wedding anniversary in Venice and we stayed at this hotel. What a great choice. Fabulous views and the hotel was very nice with friendly, helpful staff. Especially Rodney up on the roof terrace. He was polite and could not do enough. We had a meal one evening and it was delicious so although we didn't catch the chefs name compliments all the same. We would recommend this hotel.

Had a spritz outside at the terrace. I work in venice since 4 years and that was the most ecpensive spritz i've ever had. No sparkling prosecco, no olive, noch chips, no ashtrey on the table, no smile. 10€ (for one spritz! ), but no bill (the guardia finanza shouldn't see that, the italian law can be merciless) the hotel might be nice but better get your drink somewhere elso on the canal…

Wonderful view. Food is good but not great.

Went at the laguna sighting bar terrace only. Staff was rude, ĺoud and confusing on prices. Had to ask twice to get a bill. Definitely an overpriced tourist trap flirting with coercitive manners. Avoid or endure.

Fantastic Hotel, Great location on the Canal at San Marcos "waterbus" stop. We came with a registration to a similar name hotel and the front desk attendant gave us directions back down all the alleyways to a real dive of a hotel. My wife started crying o we walked the 3 blocks back at 8:30 pm and the same wonderful attendant went out of his way to accommodate us. He had compassion on us and gave us a very generous break on the room. It was a wonderful suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a balcony. By now it was 9:30 and he had the restaurant stay open for us to sit on the balcony for a wonderful seafood meal. The next day they stored our bags while we toured. I just wish we could have stayed longer! May 25 2017

Central Venice, fabulous!

From the minute we arrived to this beautiful hotel, the staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooms are adorned with lavish decor and highlight fine Italian culture. We were lucky enough to get a room with the view of st marks basin which granted us the opportunity to see the locals and gondolas in action. The complementary breakfast was pleasant and included normal fare such as croissants, eggs, meat and fruit. Also, the concierge was readily available and attended to any need we had whether it was with recommendations or transportation questions. Would return to the Vivaldi or recommend to others!

Perfect stay! Room clean and large. Unparalleled view of the grand Canal. Shower a little small. Nice staff Quiet environment, very varied breakfast. Close to the sights but also the living and typical areas of Venice.

The rooms are intimate, cozy and really beautiful, I fell in love instantly. Also the view from the hotel is breathtaking. The staff is very professional and helpful, I find that even the prices are great.

I didn't partake only of the bar, and I can say that is great for a drink "emergency".

My only bad review in venice. I stopped here for a drink at the end of my 5 night stay and this place is ether really expensive or the staff are making up the prices and pocketing the difference. I asked for a bill but didn't get one and was told I couldn't let pay by card (which is odd for a hotel). Just told to pay double what other places have charged for the same. St Mark's square prices but without the charm.

Excellent hotel with a great location and an all-round pleasant stay. Although we got a smaller room without a view, which I was a bit disappointed by at first, the beautiful hotel interior itself and the superb service more than made up for that. Although we couldn't enjoy the food on the terrace, since the restaurant wasn't open for the season yet, the view from there was so gorgeous it really took my breath away. The breakfast buffet was adequate and the coffee was plentiful, served in style in the delightful dining room. I would highly recommend Locanda Vivaldi for future trips to Venice.

Typical Venetian hotel with all you need nearby. The rooms are very spacious and the style is very retro. The rooftop offers a great view and a perfect spot for a glass of wine with your loved one. Be sure to ask at the hotel how the taxi bus system works to be able to roam around the islands.

Quiet for sleeping, quick service, but the breakfast is ok. Some stuff like cakes are like from a supermarket.

A very nice, quiet and clean hotel. No restaurant available, but good breakfast. The room was cosy and comfortable. A hotel for elder couples. Don't go there with children. The hotel is worth its money. We stayd there for 3 nights and will come back. The hotel is just a couple of footsteps away from the Piazza San Marco. Whenever you may go there: Enjoy it.
