My Granddaughter Olivia and my Son Jamie! This Hotel is absolutely Beautiful excellent reviews. I have been to Italy before but I haven’t been to Venice! This is Olivia’s graduation gift from Joe and myself we have been planning for this trip for about year and it almost here!

I felt ‘royal’ the moment I step-in the place. Very nice place.

When my travel agent heard I'd booked us in for a few days at Ai Cavalieri, he didn't chastise me for going it alone but said, "Very good choice! " It was too. An elegant, well located and literally palatial accommodation with first class service and warm and friendly staff. I'd particularly mention Mauro, who runs the bar and who is wise about wine and generous with his time. A great place to begin to understand Venice.

Even prior to arrival the staff were being helpful in making sure everything was taken care of for us. Once we arrived the staff couldn't have been friendlier and incredibly professional. The location of the hotel is beyond amazing as we have been able to walk to 90%+ of our activities, which keep in mind the staff can be very helpful in arranging. The rooms are beyond beautiful and the bar had some of the best tenders over encountered in years. I would cherish being able to return to this lovely location in the future. Highly recommend.

I've stayed at the Cavalieri over the holidays for a few years now, the Prestige Suite. I rarely write reviews but as I am finalizing plans for this year, I thought it would be a good idea. I am so very pleased so many other love this hotel as much as we do; they treat us like family, don't they? the Hotel is Beautiful, the Breakfasts are divine, the little Bar is wonderful and the Staff is willing to do whatever they can to make your stay the very best. Yes. I give them 5 stars, over and over and over again.

The hotel is beautiful, staff is friendly and ready to assist at any moment. Beautiful artwork and furnishings throughout the hotel. The complimentary breakfast is amazing and the Bat Bar is a nice place to relax and have a drink after a long day of sightseeing. Location was perfect, esp. For catching water taxis adjacent to the canal. Rooms were very quiet, and it would be a pleasure to stay here again.

Wow! Gorgeous hotel with its own water taxi entrance. We sprang for a suite (Room 110, I believe) because we were we were tired and cranky after two weeks traveling in close quarters (waking up to your son's feet in your face will make you splurge). My jaw dropped when I entered our rooms and saw the majestic Murano chandeliers, big enough for my entire family to swing from! Comfy beds, great collection of books on Venice, and a modern yet charming bathroom. My favorite, though, was the view of two canals from our four small terraces. Hanging out on the terrace during a thunderstorm was magical (though probably not too smart/safe on my part in retrospect)! Location was very convenient and away from the hordes around St. Mark's. Very friendly and attentive staff, great breakfast. Lovely all around.

My husband and I enjoy our experience at this hotel in Venice. They were helpful with directions and recommendations on just about everything we asked for. This stay also included a complimentary boat trip to Murano's glass shop which was amazing. Such a nice thing to have included with your stay. Breakfast was always amazing with great selections. The whole hotel had beautiful decor. The room was beautiful — and with good air conditioning! Only wish about this place was to have at least one complimentary bottle of water for the room. After walking the streets of Venice to get to the hotel, it would have been nice to have that. However, it can certainly be overlooked with all the positives that come with staying here. We will certainly stay here again if given the chance.

We cannot even begin to express our thanks to all the staff members at Hotel ai Cavalieri. The hotel is an amazing place with a beautiful decor. But, what makes it so special is the staff. Antonio greeted us upon our arrival and was so helpful in organizing our tour of Verona which had been cancelled. All other front desk staff assisted us graciously in ordering water taxis and making dinner reservations. Mauro at the bar was so friendly and welcoming. Location of hotel was fine for the major tourist sites. I would never stay anywhere else in Venice!

From check-in to check-out this was an amazing experience. The staff was extremely friendly, the hotel was very clean and gorgeous, the breakfast was divine. We loved the location, a short walk to St Mark's square but off of the hustle and bustle of the main streets. Definitely will stay there again in future visits to Venezia and will recommend it to all our friends and family!

Excellent hotel in which to spend our downtime during our most excellent vacation in Venice. Very clean, friendly and helpful. Whenever we needed anything, they were right there to answer our call. Our rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. Our beds turned back at night. Wonderful selection of breakfast items in the morning. Thank you, Hotel Ai Cavalieri!

We finished up a two week vacation with one night in Venice. The entire staff was so kind and extremely helpful. We arrived earlier than check in. They kept our bags for us while we explored Venice. We asked about a place to dine that evening. The gentleman at the reception told us about their sister hotels restaurant. He made a reservation for us. The food was delicious. Walking into the room was a delightful surprise. The room was gorgeously appointed with an amazing chandelier. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a work of art. The closet/drawers and minibar are all so beautiful with tons of storage space. They left a bottle of champagne chilled for us. Such a nice gesture. Our luggage was brought up to us as soon as we were shown to the room. The next morning we called to ask if someone could help with our luggage and they came immediately. We asked them to schedule a water taxi for 5 am the next morning and when we walked down the taxi was waiting for us. We left earlier than breakfast but they made sure we had breakfast to go. Our only complaint is we didn’t stay longer! Do yourself a favor and spend some time at this lovely establishment. We felt like Royalty.

I stopped by with a friend of mine because I had read that the hotel was beautiful, I was not disappointed, everything perfect.
The bartender very nice and very prepared! Definitely when I go back to Venice I will go there to drink the aperitif!

Stayed for 4 nites. Excellent property. Would highly recommend for any traveler visiting Venice. We were a couple (no kids). Very romantic setting. Puts you in the mood for a Venetian experience (whatever that may mean for you…)

Beautiful and clean hotel that really blew us away. Location is great, far enough from San Marco and Rialto areas for it to be quiet, but still close enough to walk in the dead of winter. Service is amazing as well. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Clean modern rooms and a great location that is close to the attractions, but just enough away from the major tourist paths so that it's quiet.

Beautiful place, romantic and magical. Getting through the canal is an unforgettable experience. The decor allows you to admire the impeccable aesthetic Italian designed to the maximum expression. Mista-room remote a small balcony with plants from which were two towers, we are really living in a postcard. The care is detailed and well thought out.

We were in Venice for an incredible 7 days this past Spring, and couldn't have asked for a better experience! Not only is this an amazingly beautifully restored palace hotel, but the staff could not have been more professional and courteous! The location is great… away from most of the crowds, yet convenient to everything. And water taxi access directly to the hotel is perfect for arrivals and departures. Just truly an amazing place… and our new go to when in Venice! Special thanks to Claudio who went out of his way to take care of us! Ti ringrazio!

Beautiful large clean rooms, large beautiful bath with double sinks. Good breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Front desk booked gondola ride for us and water taxi to take us back to the parking deck. Great location. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

These people kicked my friend out on the street at 10:57pm and forced us to book an entirely different hotel, Just because we had a room That did not have the "option or category" for 3 or more people. Even though the room could fit up to 6 people, And he was willing to sleep on the floor, and we were more than willing to pay 100 euros extra for him to sleep on the floor. Alivise explained to us that we were all liars, even so much as lies and told us that it was ITALIAN LAW, when it was simply screwed up hotel policy. We tried upgrading the room to a category that would fit 3 people but they told us they were sold out. This left us with no option but to call the police to explain that this was not infact Italian law, But it was hotel policy created by greedy, rigid, strict, non flexible owners. There are 7 owners and each and single one of them, don't care if they have international guests who need a bed at night. They threw my best friend out at 11:00pm And smiled while they did it. They think of themselves so highly, that someone sleeping on the floor at their hotel, is like a total sin. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT BOOK HERE. These guys are sick. They place the front desk directly in front of the elevator in order to catch you incase you have any extra guests. They also team up on you and start speaking in Italian so you cannot understand what they say. You can catch certain phrases and you can tell that they are falsifying information.

We stayed in a Junior Suite during our honeymoon and had a great time. We found the bar to be a special treat — especially the Bellini (my wife loved them) and the dirty martini. It's a little expensive but a cool vibe and top notch drinks. The room was very clean and has the Venetian flair as advertised. The bathroom especially was awesome. The reception desk was very helpful providing directions and arranging taxis. Just a note, the taxi to the airport was steep — €130, €135 if paying by card. Might be able to get it cheaper by negotiating/booking your own, we didn't try that though.

We stayed at the room 207, without any pleasant view, although I would rate the hotel as 5* because the room were extremely clean and the hotel was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was good and the staff is very helpful. I would certainly recommend Ai Cavalieri tô my friends…

Its a very nice hotel. Breakfast was very nice. Everything was clean. At time staff suggestions felt like a hustle. Wouldn't help us book a water taxi from the airport.

One of if not the most beautiful and elegant hotels I have had the pleasure of staying in. Staff is amazingly accommodating and have amazing advice for food around town. The rooms feel like I am staying in a palace. It will cost you a pretty penny but I left feeling as though I got more of an experience than I paid for!

This hotel is accessible directly via private water taxi (70 euros) but if you want to take the public water bus, be warned you will need to drag your bags over multiple step bridges and islands through very crowded areas before reaching the hotel. The rooms were lovely and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. We had a nice snack in the Bat Bar one day and had excellent service from the barkeep. The area around the hotel is more quiet and off the beaten path of the grand canal.
