Good hotel, very well located just over 100 meters from Piazza San Marco. The price was good for two nights in Venice, good relation price quality. Good price of the minibar, 1, 50 The Coca Cola can and comfortable the beds. Little water pressure to bathe.
The hotel in general is recommended.

The hotel is a little tricky to find like many things in Venice as it's tucked into a small dark alley but it's beautiful inside. The rooms are nice and well equipped but the hot water pressure leaves a bit to be desired. The staff is friendly and multilingual and it's a great location to explore Venice as it's very central, just behind San Marco and next to a water bus route.

For the price we paid to stay at this hotel was just not worth it. I’m honestly surprised at the great reviews for this hotel, maybe they just gave us a bad room but the minute we got here it smelled like a sewer pipe busted, the walls are paper thin and you can hear the guests in the next room over, the toilet never worked/never would flush properly and the sink in the bathroom leaked, oh also if you take a shower in one of the rooms the water will fluctuate the whole time. Not my idea of a great time.

The hotel did not mention that we first had to find the main reception in order to be given the keys to the apartment, nor that we ALL had to get there with our documents first. We were hot, tired, sweaty and totally lost as the confirmation email made no attempt whatsoever to help you find the place ehich at the end of a tiny dirty alley. There wasn't even the full address of name of the calle! once we finally got ourselves into the apartment it was fine… clean and new… but the whole experience… for basically 12 hours and 5 people at 360 euros… felt bad.

Room is very clean. I highly recommend their breakfast buffet compared to outside. Very close to Mark square, Doge's palace etc. Highly recommended, little hard to find.

The Hotel Tiepolo was a hidden treasure when I picked it out for my trip to Venice and at first I thought I was at the wrong place. The picture is misleading but the small rooms were clean and quiet. LOCATION is everything and I was 5 minutes from St. Marks' and the water taxis. Fredrika made the whole trip with her kindness and excellent customer service. Nice breakfast and you can watch boats go by in the little nook. All in all, I give the hotel 4 out of 5 because of Fredrika and the location. Enjoy VENICE!
