We have booked but could not arrive because of the virus have already paid but now the hotel does not want to pay back the money it was not our fault.

My husband and I stayed here part of our honeymoon, the hotel has stunning rooms and the staff are so friendly and very helpful. I would recommend to anyone travelling to Venice to stay at the hotel. We only stayed two nights but we had a fantastic stay. Breakfast is very yummy too.

The best hotel for quality, service, location and above all the friendliness, helpfulness of the staff. The best holiday I have had… ever.

This hotel is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year, but the staff and the ambiance feel like it’s been in business for decades. This hotel is the definition of quaint, romantic, as well as classy and top service. Great location to lots of sights to see, locally operated restaurants, and shopping to the ladies hearts delight. You can take a private boat from the airport to the front door of the hotel.

A bit hard to find, but awesome service and location. Rooms are relatively small but beautifully decorated.

They arranged our arrival from the airport via private taxi aswell as our return. They had great suggestions on where to eat and what to see. Lovely (not large) room, no bath only shower though. Very small reception desk means a wait. Back door has a gondola entry which is cool. Good location. Obviously not cheap.

Beautiful hotel located right on the canal and has water taxi access. We had a room that looked onto the canal with a little balcony which was amazing, we sat and watched the gondolas go by and could see the bridge of sighs. A couple minute walk to st marks square. Staff we friendly and went above to make our stay great. Great breakfast in the morning. Would stay here again.

Stayed from 7th to 11th May, did not stay for the first time. Lovely hotel, one of the few where all was comfortable and correct.
The disadvantages could be attributed the scarcity of breakfasts, but this is a common Italian feature.

Hotel Colombina was one of our favorites on a whirlwind European vacation we just took. We arrived via private boat to their own private dock and doorway, porter service was waiting to carry our bags. Front desk reception was friendly and eager to help and spoke wonderful English. They brought us to our room which already had a gift fruit basket waiting and shortly after complimentary Prosecco was brought up and poured for us to toast our arrival. We felt like Royalty among friends! Each day the staff greeted us with smiles and any helpful tips including suggestions of tours sponsored by the hotel that other guest were taking and we could partake in. We were sad to leave this lovely place and will definitely come back our next trip to Venice! Thank you Colombina!

Top rate. Beutiful view of canal. Private dock for taxis etc. Breakfast and great bar made this convenient to get to all the best sights. The staff was great.

International reception (especially in French), very nice and helpful. The hotel is very well located on the canal side and you can admire the bridges of sighs nearby.
Clean room with all the necessary comforts. Maybe a lack of electrical plugs near the headboard.
Breakfast is a bit below the standards of a 4 star.
We regret the little terrace that would have made the place truly magical.
Attention, the hotel is in the style of the genre: it is from the "Rococo" to the Venetian. If you like contemporary hotels you will prefer another hotel.

The hotel is very well located. On the Canal of gondolas very typical, magical. In the heart of ancient Venice.

It is amazing the location and the deal was amazing they knew how to speak Spanish one of them was very friendly and nice and the small but comfortable rooms I recommend.

In short stay for 2 days in Venice we chose this hotel because it met three criteria: Budget View canal, and bathtub. It was an excellent choice! The roses on arrival were splendid (not relying on the photo of their site they are much better). The service is great the buffet breakfast well stocked even at the end of service. In the evening the staff drop you the water bottles, another night two chocolates, accompanied by a carton with the weather of the next day. "Excursions" are also offered at unbeatable rates! Room spotless and spacious and above all an ideal location: 3 minutes walk from St. Mark's Square and less than 10 from Rialto, in short we were enchanted with our stay. And special mention to the staff of the reception very helpful, smiling, and speaking very well French!

This is our third visit to this lovely elegant hotel. It is reasonably priced and although only a short walk from St Marks Square a very quiet and convenient location. The hotel is really comfortable and the rooms excellant. The staff are really helful and attentive. Altogether this place is a little gem.

Not a bad hotel at all, it's not a solid 3, more of a 3.8. Staff was nice, the location wasn't too far from St. Mark's Square and not too far from the boat stop. The shower could have been better. The hotel sits on a canal so the boats are easy to access. The breakfast was good, too. I would recommend it.

Most friendly and helpful reception ever, so lovely and great first impression of hotel. Couldn't have been more sweet, giving me directions along with a helpful map. This hotel is in the centre on Venice. It is less than one minute walk to St. Marks Square. Everything about the hotel was exceptional, It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in both bars where we had Tea and the worlds best Hot Chocolate. The Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. The Carnival was on. My wife and I had the best time. The only thing that I could find fault with was that I wish the background music for breakfast in the morning was louder so I didn't have to whisper. Great Breakfast. I would go back there in a second. Grazie mille.

Very nice hotel. A superb welcome and a dream location in a tiny alley just 2 steps from St. Mark's Square with a view of the bridge of sigh right before returning to the hotel.

Beautiful wee hotel in a fantastic location, just round the corner from San Marco square. A real Venetian experience with lovely rooms and a really friendly and helpful team who can’t do enough for you, if you want to experience Venice then this is the hotel for you. We will definitely be back.

To the height of the charm of Venice and its history particularly well situated.
An effort perhaps to make on the pillows.
Too bad breakfast only opens at 7 am… early risers can only go back to sleep!
A small courtesy tray (especially for a 4 star) would not be luxury (and we could have a coffee or tea! ).

What about… Great! Hotel practically close to Piazza San Marco (2 minutes walk). Excellent cleanliness and staff available to the maximum, all very nice and very professional! Not huge but really nice rooms with a breathtaking view! Breakfast in the standard! When we return to Venice we will be for sure their guests!

Do not hesitate this charming and typical hotel is worth a good stay in Venice staff has your listening and magnificent room view canals and even bridge of sighs.

Spotlessly clean, high ceilings, magnificent room with canal view. Very comfortable bed. Only downside: Latte and Caffe & Co must be asked to the waiters, you can't use yourself as for all the other breakfast foods. Medriocre/low quality bread.

I stayed here for 10 days while in Venice. It is located close to everything. The hotel was very clean and beautifully and tastefully decorated including the rooms. The staff were very polite, pleasant, and helpful. A special thanks to Jacky at the front desk who helped us make arrangements to forward our luggage to our next destination. Thanks is located just a few minute walk from the Piazza San Marco, but with enough buildings between to be in a quiet area. Our room was very spacious for two people. The front desk was consistently helpful with information and guidance.

We ABSOLUTELY LOVED our stay at Hotel Colombina, and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND it for any travelers! Accommodations were GREAT, And the staff was WONDERFUL!

Excellent staff and service. Great location for first time Venexia visitors. Having a boat dock great for taxi service. Would have been 5 stars but our room was so tiny you had to go into well sized bathroom to change your mind. Also we were above a kitchen and lots of noise.

After a 16 hour flight and the excitement of coming back to one of our favorite cities. I was given a room in the dungeon on the first floor with a view under the bridge. Probably the worst room in the hotel. I had to get upset to be offered a non view room. I reluctantly took it. The room was comfortable but I felt the. Hotel should have reduced the price I paid or offered me something in return. The staff was nice but there was no reason for me to get pest first since they did have an alternative room. They also have two other hotels and possible found me a space there. Ge breakfast was nothing to write home about. If you wanted eggs that were not over scrambled and dried out they charge extra for that. The breads and cereal was minimal. Disappointed this trip. Prior experience was wonderful but I guess the days of the past are over.

Welcoming, professional and friendly staff. Super well located. We got a room with a balcony and view on a canal, and a majestic Murano glass chandelier.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the columbina hotel. It is very centrally situated. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend it x.

Ideal location, close to St. Mark's Square, very good reception and good advice. Another positive point that has its importance, also accessible by its private pontoon so no galley baggage from the airport via taxis boats.

Location of the hotel was great as were the facilities — charming venue. My room was a tad on the warm side but I was provided a fan which helped during the evenings. The staff were very accommodating and friendly.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Columbina Hotel and loved it. The room, including the restroom area, were spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We found the staff to be warm, welcoming and helpful and would not hesitate to stay there again. Additionally, it is located conveniently to many of Venice's highlights with a view of the Bridge of Sighs. Highly recommend.

The Hotel Colombina concierge and staff are out-going, genuinely nice and interested in meeting their guests' every need. The hotel is small, charming, and comfortable, tucked in behind the Piazza San Marco where it is both hidden and central. The complimentary breakfast buffet provides a very good meal and the preparation shows attention to detail. Our room, overlooking the canal, was truly comfortable, even luxurious. I can't comment on the rooms in the remote location, across the courtyard, never having seen one. I recommend paying the extra money to have a room on the canal. We requested a water taxi to pick us up on the hotel dock in the very early morning to take us and our baggage to the airport. The taxi was on time, the desk gave us a wake-up call and sent us off with a boxed breakfast. Best taxi ride of my life.

Beautiful hotel on the canals, a few steps from Piazza San Marco!

The hotel is conveniently located just a few steps from St. Mark's Square, St. Zaccaria's Church, Rialto Bridge, and Rialto and Zaccarias Vaporettos. The reception, the service and the rooms although not very large are spotless. The breakfast is varied and good quality. A good experience.

The rooms are very small, toilet as well. Minimum toiletries. We had a lousy room on the ground floor with practically no window even though it was booked 2 months ahead of time!. Breakfast is below average and some of the staff are not friendly at all. The hotel is over priced. Would not recommend it at all.

In a quiet alley but a few steps away from busy tourist areas, this hotel will give you an authentic experience of Venice. The rooms are clean and themed around what high end bedrooms could have looked like a century ago. Breakfast is good and staff is friendly. You can also get a boat ride straight from the hotel's entrance considering the front entrance is a dock.

We recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, very happy. Hotel the Venetian style of the decoration is a top and strategic location, close to Piazza San Marco, but far enough away from the crowded tourist. Every employee at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very niceand clean hotel with attentive staff. Also, right on the water so a taxi will pick you up from the side lobby if you so desire. The best thing for me was it's extreme proximity to St. Mark's Square and the amazing sights there. We cought a water tzxi to the airport with another couple and the cost was only €35/per person.

It's been several years, but we loved this place. Great service and great accommodations.

I put a star because there is less. Do not be fooled. You think that you are contracting with the Colombina's 4-stars and you get into an annex of 3 which is a real crap. You can look at the photos. Reception of laugh at you if you complain, disgusting room, apart from dirty is full of mosquitoes that desperate to with you. The lousy bathroom. A ridiculous window looks patio lights which better not watch it, with a canvas dirty plugging boilers which, as you can imagine to help sleep, although as the mosquitoes are biting you and you don't see them because there is little light, the noise of the boiler just you hear. Breakfast seems that you put leftovers. And all at the price of €200 night, more tax.

The hotel is split into two parts: a 4-star hotel, and a 3-star annex building. The rooms in the 3-star building are hot, hardly have any Wi-Fi signal, no view, and breakfast only includes cereal, breads, tea or coffee, and boiled eggs; very limited choices. Only go for the canal view room to get the full 4-star treatment.

Great location — easy to get to, and a great place to start from when exploring Venice. Obviously an older building that has been very nicely updated, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We will certainly keep the Colombina in mind when we return to Venice.
