Nice big sized rooms great air conditioning had a room for 3 and it was nice and big loved the location.

If you just want to get your head down for the night somewhere clean, basic and quiet this place is for you. It’s cheap and worth what you pay for it, with incredibly friendly staff.
It’s as central as you can get to everything. The rooms are basic but very clean, bathroom clean, free Wi-Fi and tv. Room cleaned and clean towels done everyday. If your expecting 5 star with room service go else where.
It’s a room for a few nights, but who stays in their room long in Venice?
I’d ask for an extra pillow as your only given one.
The steps going up to the rooms are steep but they do have a chair lift.

Located in the heart of Venice just a stone's throw from the Rialto bridge. Very nice staff, made us feel welcome right away. The hotel is small, we happened to rooms in an adjoining building obviously no elevator, but we are in Venice… The room was very clean and the bathroom was very good. The taste of the furnishings is very baroque but the important things are others. I would recommend it to everyone for the value for money. I would go back!

Hotel with friendly staff and discreet clean Venetian-style rooms. Located near the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square, close to restaurants and shops of various kinds.

Totally unacceptable, a strike D Easy Jet did not allow us to go to Venice so against our will, big disappointment, and this HOTEL did not even want to make a credit for 3 months so that we can come back. €297 in the air! Not to mention the sadness of not leaving.

Clean, tidy, warm, nicely decorated, TV a bit ' outdated but so you do not need to turn Venice very well and tired… The hotel is within walking distance to RI high central location but quiet, fabulous canal view… great quality recommended price we will be back.

Hotel very good for transport links on vaperrati. Breakfast very basic although adequate. Staff were friendly. Did not like warning notices in room could have been written in more client friendly language.

The center of Venice, as a number, is a room in a residential house. Cozy, clean, high ceilings with wooden rods, floral picture of wallpaper.

Amazing Venetian hotel. We stayed in a room with a beautiful view of the water. Everything is close by. 15 minute walk to major tourist attractions. Could be a little noisy but didn't bother us. The owner was very nice and helpful. Shops and restaurants are steps away.

I did not end up staying at this hotel, but it was one of a few I considered for my trip to Venice. While exploring the city I stopped by to see what the hotel was like. It seemed clean and was competitively priced (from what I remember). It is also near many shops and restaurants.

Great place and location than god it's near a famous land mark. Rialto Bridge as we navigated to it many evenings on our stay! Periodic features. Beautiful place to stay.

Hotel with Venetian-style rooms, excellent location, ideal for visiting the city of Venice as about 350mt from the Rialto Bridge and the vaporetto stops. Romantic and graceful! I recommend it!

I have read several reviews before choosing this property and I have to say that despite having only one star, I am more than satisfied with the choice made.
The owner kindly gave us the room even before the scheduled check-in time and also gave us a higher room than the one booked (had the view on the canal).
Very friendly and helpful staff to provide suggestions on places to visit and places to eat.
I highly recommend it for both the location and the value for money.

Good place to stay multiple nights. Easy to get to from the water bus. Clean, neat, comfortable rooms with decent Wi-Fi and TV. We watch movies on our computer with Netflix so entertainment was taken care of. Courteous, friendly and helpful were all of the staff.

2 minutes walk from Rialto bridge. Clean and comfortable. Kettle in room with tea and coffee.

Our room was a decent size and very clean with good facilities including remote control AC, a TV and a nice shower. The room had a nice decor with a quite ornate Venecian character. Although there is a window, it looks out onto a dark atrium and other hotel room windows so not much of a view!

Very clean, lovely room and really friendly helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again, we were in the rooms round the back, so it was quiet but we were only a minute away from the hustle and bustle round the corner. Thank you for adding to an enjoyable trip.

Not suitable for those who go on holiday for the hotel, but in a place where you pay €100 per night for a vagrant's cardboard mat, it represents decent value for money. A clean room, reasonably decorated in a good location.

Stayed at Al Vagon for our honeymoon, and I would highly recommend it. This is a lovely boutique hotel, friendly staff and a great location. We opted for a canal view room which was beautiful. Can't understand why the hotel is listed as 1 star, don't let this put you off. The rooms were clean and fairly spacious, would happily book this hotel again.

This hotel is really nice considering it's only a 1-star hotel. We had a room with a double bed plus one extra bed and en-suite. The keys we had to collect from the main enterance and then our room was located around the other side of the building, where their restaurant is, and up a steep staircase. The beds were slightly uncomfortable but the room was clean and bathroom facilities better than expected. Would recommend this place as it is good value for money and in a fairly central area of the wonderful city. Be aware that there is no lift in this part of the hotel so carring heavy luggage could be a struggle.

Small very quiet very central hotel and views of the canal. Average but quite acceptable quality of comfort (clean, cleaning daily, Venetian kitsch furniture).

Excellent value for your money! Their suite is beautiful and the hotel is at great location! Their cheaper rooms are so-so. It is well worth paying that little extra for the suite.

As a European, I am accustomed to the poor quality of Hotels in major Tourist centres. Under the circumstances I found this Hotel to be OK. The Staff were polite and friendly. The rooms were clean and tidy. I stayed in the Annex, which is on the Strada Nova. Beware of single room No. 506 which is very loud due to the external extractor fans of nearby Restaurants. After complaining I was immediately given another room without any fuss. As a (reasonably) low price Hotel I can recommend it.
