Hotel Giovannina Hotel

This is the first time I pay for a room, then go look for another. They did not want to reimburse. Big mistake I made. We did not want to put our luggage on the floor. Room had bad cigarette smell (that was the least of our concern). We stayed at another hotel, cost me 4 rooms instead of two. Perfect place to bring your wife if you want a divorce.

Good location, good price. Credit cards are accepted.

Don't stay in this hotel. Please. Stay party well (the room booked by me for some reason was no longer available so I was moved to a bigger one) with the guy at the front desk on my arrival very kind and sympathetic.
Arrived in the room in the evening but with a closer look the room turned out:-Very very very dirty-poorly organized (without plugs working as 2 on 3 routes) — very cold — without switches for light except the one in the entry — no further lighting Displace — shower cubicle — hair dryer plug broken so unusable — dirty towels — WC with unfortunately traces of dry excrements — sheets dirty with blood and yellowed with residues of unidentified substances…
And to conclude in beauty, once started to fix the double bed to sleep, I even found under the sheets a condom used…
I upset I went immediately to ask for help at the reception but once there, the new guy (no longer the one in the morning), he cleared me immediately telling me that you could not do anything; I could not change room as full hotel, it was not possible a linen change and it was not possible even a refund I just had to stay on the other bed next door and sleep there.
Now I write this review in the hope that no one and I say no one put more foot in this hotel to a star (just to emphasize that this is not a hostel but a hotel to a star where the room where I stayed for 3 people costs well €90. )

In reception so much courtesy, but not enough, dirty bathroom and also the room was no less, improved the cleanliness. The furnishings are passable though very spartan.

Nice staff, room as expected. Cleanliness OK, the heating in the room did not go.

Room smelt awful and the shower doors where laughably broken, in addition, the posting lists a nonexistent free buffet breakfast, which was probably the most disappointing discovery. Overall, kinda cringy, but very cheap for the area.

The hotel is next to the train station and the supermarket. To Venice the train rides 10 minutes, 1.3 Euros one way.
This is a very inexpensive hotel and does not have to expect much. However the staff is very friendly, the room was cleaned every day, linens of excellent quality.
On the ground floor there is a vending machine with excellent coffee. There is also a microwave, but the whole pizza was not put there) ) there is no kettle and mugs in the room, although it was possible to ask.

Absolutely terrible! It would be close!
The first room we were placed in had a TV resting on a chair. Without cabinets and had a stink stink of Chinese food as in the whole hotel (there is the Chinese restaurant next door) also the bathroom has flooded just opened the wash basin I would insist on being changed to room… I'm satisfied and the second room is Almost worse. TV this time away, the sink loses but less. We are flooded in the morning after and not the same evening. The Windows do not close and between broken handles and non-functioning electrical outlets is a real sieve! Don't go there! It's outrageous!

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

One of the best hotel I have ever visited service and comfort isn't that best but in that price you can't expect more. Cleanness is good and the staffs are very friendly even the cleaning staff carried my bags to my room.

The front desk staff are nice and helpful but all around this place is a dive. It's cheap and located near the number 2 bus to take you into the venice canals. So if you're on a budget it's ok but if you're looking for any kind of frills or luxury this is not the place for you.

The hotel is a last chance, if you have not found anything, and spend the night somewhere. Of the pluses, clean underwear, responsive staff can attach one car in the technical yard if there is a place. There is no parking on the street only in the adjoining. The rest of the night is from some of the zazopenka or Volchehuysk. (60 euros, taxes and fees included, per night for three).

Staff OK, but dirty rooms and bathrooms do not maintained.
Windows do not close, bathroom faucet that is stopped (so to speak) with silicone, do not change towels, the bathroom leaves much to be desired, the products are scarce. On the walls evident signs of mildew and dust everywhere.
In short to avoid at all costs if possible. A little more maintenance and cleaning would be enough to make the rooms at least decent.

Excellent location, 100mt from the train terminal and 10 minutes from Venice by bus leaving from the same terminal. Great space and all very clean.

For 1-2 nights Oky but no more. Sperrmüllmobel, bed oky and clean, door furniture has not been richtg cleaned for ever, very friendly staff.

1 star Hotel at the good two minutes from Mestre train station on a non-busy street. Quiet in a quiet area. Chinese restaurant next to the entrance but no smell of food that hovers in the hotel.

The worst hotel I ever stay at. Rude staff, dirty room, very old, bad heating, overprice for such bad hotel. Extremely not recommended for any travelers. There are plenty of budget hotel in venice that is much more better with this price and I think this hotel is the top of the worst.

I do not recommend this hostel. Wifi does not work. The heat in the room was not. Small bathroom. Very old hostel.

We were there for 4 days in the winter. After all the known horrible reviews we had a very low expectation. The heating was a little complicated but all in all not glamorous but adequate if you are there for Venice and don't spend much time in the hotel.

Cheap Hotel vor maximum 1 night. It s very cheap so don't expect much luxury. If you just need a place to sleep it's ok. Stuff is friendly.

The location is very near to Mestre train station and buses to venice. The staff are really woderful and welcoming. The rooms are a bit old with weak or no Wifi signals as we had to sit in the lobby to catch the Wi-Fi signal. The toilet is also too small and hot water is delayed.

Even the hotel has no lift but the location is nice, just near the central train and bus station of Mestre.

I stayed here with 3 friends for 2 days. 2 min walk from mestre station. From where you will get bus no. 2 every 7 mins for venice city. Its well located. Courteous staffs. Linen/ towels are replaced/ cleaned every day. Highly recommend if you are looking for a budget hotel withe plenty of eateries nearby.

Aright for one night's stay. Nothing special. Don't wander round solo at night round the area, too many street boys playing gangsters. Get in and get out.

Hotel well located and competent staff (he provided several explanations about the city) but the hotel is really horrible has several levels: very rustic room, no air conditioning but a fan, no decoration (white wall with task Rolled rose that flow). The sheets and towels are not changed (they only remake the bed on the go quickly). No safe in the room. Very room room, from the faucets to the ground with ash stains all over the floor. The room smells very bad. Bare electrical wire under the sink and hot water does not work, the faucet turns in the vacuum the bathroom is in the same condition as the room (very small shower and defective faucets). The microwave has the reception is "Degeulasse" and smells very bad (surely never cleaned)! Clearly one wonders where the star of the hotel comes from.

Good price. Clear. But 2 old build and Shower is not good. Receptionist is kind.

If only you could take off even this single star.
The room smelled absurdly, the view from the window (with the shuttered means rotten) included a few dozen cigarette butts, the two outlets one did not work, the bathroom in the room (a luxury in this place) was of size that not even the Lillipuzziani, the attic seemed to want to give in every step, the bedspreads I would not use them even for the dog and, icing on the cake, at midnight a crazy unleashed came to wake us all screaming that we had to open because that… it was his room! (Obviously no one opened, but the urge to give him the room there was).
It is true that the station of Mestre is very close, but there are also other hotels, even closer, definitely of another carat.
Is the place cheap? Not enough to guarantee an experience like this.

Frankly, if you can avoid this hotel, do it! The location of the hotel is ideal, near the Mestre train station, 10 minutes from Venice by train. Very friendly boss always ready to inform you. For the rest: Dubious hotel, poorly maintained, dubious stains on some walls, really bad soundproof. The shower doors do not close completely and the water flows all over the bathroom, very very dirty knob, mildew stains, tartar. Some cache misery. Cracked sink, unusable hair dryer, dubious odor in the room. Bed covers of another time everything is wobbly, the bed creaks, short go your way and do not rely too much on the photos you find.
Finally, the neighborhood is very poorly attended. People camp the whole day in front of the hotel or the surrounding area to make noise and to look at you strangely. Sincerely hoping that this comment will help you to get a clear idea of the bazaar that awaits you.

Simple support near the station, end of history. Heated room, clean bed in which to sleep and decent bathroom to use, for a paltry figure. Plus, a nice and professional staff. It is exactly what the structure offers: the essential with an excellent human contact. Nothing more. For the category to which it belongs (one star accommodation) The hotel is more than decent.

The prices are very low, but unfortunately the quality is very low too. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they indicated the means of transport to get to Venice and where to eat in the area. The hotel needs a total renovation, the rooms look neglected. I can't say they were dirty, but of course the patchy furniture and the grey walls don't help to make the visitor feel comfortable. Well, you get the price that you pay. Is not very well maintained, nor include any kind of comfort more than bed and private bathroom (in some cases). But good is the cheaper hotels in the area, you can not ask for more.

Mice running across floor, no other room to stay in so we had to sleep with them. We didn't get discount or anything. Guy at desk just said sorry nothing we can do about it.

Very basic hostel just next to the train station of Mestre. Access to Venezia is really easy.

Quiet hotel and the only thing that's good is the location. I had to bother the Concierge for two days to get the television (which was to be included in the room), also have problems with the boiler (got too hot, perhaps for fear that I was using the cold water to fill the bottle? ), selling a fresh bottle from two liters of water to 2 euros and Chinese has stink all over my suitcase. Finally the air conditioning? Yes, a nice fan.

Not a bad budget hotel, quality of service and accommodation average.
The only significant it plus it's close to a bus stop from where buses go to Treviso Airport and the train station is very close, you can quickly reach Venice.

1 star hotel, so don't expect anything fancy, be prepared to pay immediately upon arrival only because they did not accept credit cards and a/b only cash or debit cards. Also as room could be even passable, let's ignore the fact that the bathroom shower stall if they touch x falling very close x 1 person x time but their precise and so one we did just needed but really necessary, the shutter does not close properly, and then in the morning already saw the air of Sun that you woke up, but what I did not expect to find were 2 dead bugs around the closet that gg after gg were always Li.

I will not recommend anyone to ever stay at this hotel. The descriptions of the rooms were misleading, there are no hardwood floors, no bidets, internet is no available in the rooms, the TV is in the closet and you’ll be lucky to make it work. The shower wasn’t cleaned when we came in, and garbage left by the previous guests was in the shower. We came there late on a friday night having already booked it, we inquired about where would be a good place to park the car the hotel offered to let us park it in their lot, noting that their colleague is the only other person to use the lot and we should let them know when we leave so the colleague will leave the way for free. When we checked out we asked if we can leave our luggage and car and come back in a few hours with the desk which was all right with them. Bad idea, their shifts changed, someone parked in front of us and we had to wait hours for the guest to return. The staff yelled at us, even demanded we pay for another day, then said that we wouldn’t. While we were waiting to move the car, some guests who had recently arrived whispered as they walked up the stairs, ”Just don’t stay here, this is the worst hotel ever” — The situation was all right we weren’t in a huge rush, but the handling of the situation was terrible, and the verbal abuse, having the staff raise their voices at us, making up all these new rules and lying to us was absolutly uncalled for and frankly ruined our trip.

I booked a week before and the morning of check in I was told that the room was no longer available. I'd been there and from the first experience I was delighted but I had no choice and I wanted to give it another go. It is not absolutely reliable. Donot.

For the price the clean simple rooms and perfect location 2 minutes from the central station of venezia Mestre! If you're looking for a place and if you're without great pretensions this place is for you.

Good low budget near the Mestre train station! Rooms are quite small with no comfortable showers! A little far from. The center of Mestre, but easy to reach by bus.

About Giovannina. Well, just for one night, it's ok. It's really good for the location, near the train station (3 minutes by walk), bus stop. If you take the bus you take 15 minutes to get the historical area. Neighborhood is nice, supermarket and a little cinema around. Negative points: tiny room, very tiny bathroom, not very clean, no breakfast. Staff are nice in their own way.

We have had a great stay in hotel Giovannina, the hotel is just one minut from the train station which it was great for us and very comfortable to leave to the airport very early in the morning! obviously it's not the Riz but realy a great budget hotel.
