Villa Calypso

A little hidden gem. Views amazing — very clean.
I wish the room service breakfast offerings were a bit better and included some of the cold cuts or something.
The bath was extremely slippery and taking a shower was as close to a potential hazard as one could get. Rain shower head could use some love and replacement as well.
All in all, very happy — quiet and clean.

Located very close to the center of Capri with a wonderful garden and view. In our suite Brigitte Bardott had stayed once and was so sweet. The view to the Tyrinthian see was amazing. I think that only the breakfast should be upgreated.

Amazing! Everything was perfect, the next time we come to Capri, we will surely choose Villa Calypso again!

Amazing suite. We had the king suite I believe it was called and it was so much space, very nice old school design. Wonderful view of the water and mountains. The terrace is huge and the bathroom was huge. The Service was great. It’s a short walk from the check in area at hotel Regina Cristina and a short walk from the main plaza in Capri, about 10 minutes. We loved that it was away from the noise. Highly recommend.

Although a little dated, the rooms are quite comfortable and offer great views. The staff is very pleasant and happy to help. Breakfast offered at the property 5min away has a fair selection (we opted to not have the room service in the morning).

Absolutely delightful four room hotel with stunning view and lovely spacious rooms with large balconies. Breakfast is served on the balcony each morning. It is also away from the centre of Capri but very well situated to visit the Church of San Giacomo and the Augustine Gardens. Above all there is the irrepressible charming Suzie who looks after you — other staff I was in touch with by email but it is not exactly high season. Suzie though is what makes the hotel tick and it ticks along extremely nicely. She even brought us breakfast earlier that was usual on the morning of our departure. That is how personal and special a place it is.

Super Clean, Lovely continental breakfast on your own balcony each morning, ideal location very close to Capri centre but still far enough away to have the quietness and privacy too… Fab views off the balcony, No complaints, highly recommend.

This villa is adorable! Our suite was large and spacious. The patio was great and the views are beautiful. We would stay here again without hesitating.
Our host (Rafaela) is amazing. She brings your breakfast/coffee and sets it up on your patio each morning. Such a lovely experience and host!

Negative: The rooms are very old and need to be refurbished. Breakfast is poor (no selection and not tasty). Many worms were spotted on the walls of our room.
Positive: location is great, rooms are big, staff from the hotel Regina Cristina (part of the same chain of hotels in Capri) very nice and helpful with all our requests.

We stayed at Villa Calypso as part of our honeymoon trip and it was absolutely perfect. This is a little different to a standard hotel, however it feels so authentic, peaceful and like you are really staying in the heart of Capri. The villa is very close to all the main attractions on the Island and the main square. Our room was gorgeous, so spacious with a large and comfortable bed, large bathroom, a large balcony and the most beautiful views of the coast. The room had lovely touches like stocking the local shower gels, cotton buds, cotton pads, free water etc. We enjoyed a glass of wine overlooking the views on our terrace each night. Breakfast was served each morning by our host Raphaela which was a lovely touch, she was so welcoming and kind during our trip. I would highly recommend Villa Calypso as the perfect base to explore Capri. It is also exceptional in terms of value for money.
