Capri is teeming with fantastic places but La Minerva is a splendid combination of beauty of the place itself, care in the furniture that expertly mixes ancient and modern with a touch of local folklore, and a family atmosphere congenial to a boutique hotel. The two owners are both sailed guests who know how to welcome and make feel at home, in a natural way, without any affectation. A place to come back and come back.

Superb hotel, superb location, views to die for, but more importantly the owners and staff make this place so special, I am really not sure you can better this place, this hotel will live long in our memories.

Nice 3 star hotel facing the mediterranean sea… breakfast here I simple but wonderful! You will have the strongest flavoured italian coffee and buffa mozzarella on an exquisite fresh bread with an extraordinary olive oil mixture that will enhance your day and senses.

Very impressive small hotel. As a small nice pool period small bars in the hotel and at the pool. Breakfast was great and could even get eggs benedict period overall plants and shrubbery was done well with even having Vanda orchids in the main lobby. Roses at night in your room and freshwater my one deliver to you at pool. Lots of little extras and the owners and staff were great.

There aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful of an experience we had at La Minerva. After reading reviews of this boutique hotel and seeing the ratings, I decided to book La Minerva for our 2 night Capri stay. From the moment we arrived, one of the Esposito brothers welcomed us with a smile and let us into our room an hour before check in. The room was absolutely gorgeous (we stayed in the room without a terrace or sea view) and yet, was blown away with the cleaninless and the aesthetic of the room. At night, the Esposito brothers would make us a delicious cocktail and bring it out to us in the terrace overlooking the sea. They had wonderful recommendations and offered to make reservations for us. When we arrived at night back to our hotel, candles were lit and a fresh flower (a different one each night) with a card listing what the weather will be like the next day, Capri touring tips, and a drink of the day was detailed. They straightened up our room and took the decorative pillows off so that we came back to a fresh room each night. Where else can you find that?! Breakfast was stunning on the terrace and absolutely amazing. We were offered fresh eggs, benedict, crepes, and pancakes in addition to the buffet (all free)! The service was outstanding. The pool area feels like a spa, so quiet — the sound of the pool water flowing with lemon and bamboo trees above you. You can enjoy a light lunch and drinks there.

Possibly the best hotel experience I’ve ever had — in a peaceful setting with pretty views; rooms with a fresh, clean and charming decor — and to top it off, absolutely superb staff — 5 stars in every regard!

This lovely hotel is fourth-generation run, and the family and staff are wonderful. Snag a sea view if you can, but all the rooms are nice and the outdoor breakfast room overlooks the ocean. A truly special place.

This is probably the best of Capri. It is runned by two brothers who are always there taking care of everything. Super helpful, friendly, always making you feel special. Breakfast is ver good with options for all taste, and until late. The view is amazing. Cant wait to go back!

My husband and I stayed at La Minerva Capri in April this year. It was truly the most warm, heartfelt, enjoyable and welcomed stay we've ever had! Not only was the property beautiful, the owners — Antonino, Luigi and Marco (three brothers who run this marvellous family run hotel) were in touch with us right from the date of booking until the end of our stay. They were exceptionally helpful, made great recommendations for sight-seeing and restaurants on the island and were so very kind and pleasant during our entire trip. We had originally planned on staying only for a night but the amazing experience we had due to them, along with the beauty of the island, made us book another night. And the brothers were kind enough to accommodate our last minute request! Our entire experience was magical thanks to team La Minerva Capri, the overall service, all of the staff and the property itself which is so beautiful and well kept with amazing views. We hope to go back soon and experience the beauty of La Minerva Capri all over again!

I've been fortunate enough to travel the world and stay in wonderful places. La Minerva is truly one of the finest places I've ever stayed anywhere, at any price point. I visit Capri every year and it's now the only place I want to stay. Their fantastic staff, led by the wonderful Kamal and the amazing and gracious family who own and manage it, create an atmosphere that is excellent yet relaxed. La Minerva is exceptional in every way.

This hotel has a FANTASTIC staff. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff makes sure your experience is wonderful. Nicer than many 5 star resorts I've stayed at.

Smaller 4-star hotel. Absolutely great staff, they are very nice and organize anything for you. Nice ambiente, great breakfast or lunch (at poolside)! I would come back anytime. Rooms are nice, great view, nice balcony — all really just great.

On the quiet side of the island away from the day tourists. Modern, updated rooms. Great staff. Restaurant serves breakfast and a light lunch (poolside) but no dinner.
