I was a guest of the structure, because in Naples for professional reasons.
Clean place, cozy and spacious room, equipped with every comfort.
The staff is exemplary in their conduct and in the way they are: always present and never in difficulty, compared to all requests, especially in this pandemic juncture.
The owner, who I had the great pleasure of knowing, is a respectable and highly appreciated man.
The "Rex" is, in its own right, my reference in the city of Parternope!
I am fully satisfied.

I am all packed and ready to leave later. I seriously don’t want to leave! The staff perfecto and wonderful. Soooo friendly and helpful.
The young lady on reception was a god send. She not only gave me directions, she gave me bus numbers, metro stops, the whole thing. … I have a perfect view of Mt. Vesuvius! The rooms are lovely, the bed so comfortable and the facility’s are spot on,
Breakfast was as spot on. The whole hotel was perfect! … When I arrive back home, I will be booking to come back here later this year. I love Naples ❤️ thank you.

Great location and staff!

Hotel room was clean and comfortable. The location is safe and very pretty right by the Bay of Naples. Staff were friendly and helpful :) would recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Rex, on arrival checkin was very friendly and informative and we met Nonna… what a beautiful lady. Fantastic location with some lovely views. Bed was comfy and breakfast was good. Would definitely stay again.

Good hotel. A week's stay. Home correct. We sleep well there. Spacious room and single bathroom. Lunch in self simple with good Italian pastries.

Hotel Rex is in a lovely area of Naples, close to the sea front and five minutes from the royal palace. I felt safe even later in the evening. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff are great, very helpful and friendly. They couldn’t have been more helpful giving good advice on areas of interest and information on how best to get there. Naples is a vibrant city steeped in history and very much worth a visit.

Very good location, actually next door to a fine vegan restaurant, one of the few ones in Naples! Very close to the sea and seawalk, great if you like running or jogging early mornings or sunsets. My room was a single bedroom and quiet small, however clean. The shower and bathroom quiet oldish and the shower very basic and kinda cheap. But I walked in and found a vacant last minute room. So, thank you very much for finding a solution for me. To sleep well!

Liked it; typical hotel, nicely done with homely and interesting touches. Made to feel welcome. Good location right by the sea and easy to navigate the city from there. Good breakfast; free coffee available all day in the lobby.

Hotel located in the Santa Lucia district perfectly located in order to reach Piazza del Plebiscito or the commercial via Chiaia and one block from the promenade. Parking available for a fee. The rooms are clean but the bathrooms need a long-delayed modernization. Strong point the kindness and helpfulness of the breakfast staff attentive especially to the needs of the youngest.

Nice and clean hotel Pretty much on the sea, just a wee bit noisy, but with the windows closed you can't hear anything.

Good location but urgently needs a modernization. Breakfast is acceptable. Friendly and attentive staff but too expensive for what it offers.

Behind the big hotels in Naples is this little gem. Clean, well kept and cared for, ten meters from the seafront, 5 minutes from Piazza del Plebiscito. Rooms are not too large but well furnished, the washbasin a little small and lack of cafetettes in the bathroom. Continental breakfast excellent and abundant, for the Italian breakfast there are delicious hot Sfogliatelle and other local delicacies. Very friendly and helpful Staff. Hotel Rex is an ideal base for visiting Naples.

Very cozy, friendly, clean. In a beautiful corner of a beautiful city. We have chosen the occasion of our wedding and the staff made us feel special from the first moment to the last. We will return as soon as possible. Thank you!

I stayed at this Hotel 1 night in December. Great location A few steps from the boardwalk but also very close to Piazza Plebiscito so good starting point for a nice tour of the city. Very friendly and friendly staff. Clean and spacious room. Recommended.

Great location However, the welcome was not the best. A few steps from the hotel you can reach the Ovo Castle and the Promenade, Piazza dei Martiri and Piazza Plebiscito.

Brilliant hotel in a fantastic location. It's clean the staff are helpful and very friendly nothing too much trouble definitely worth a visit.

Great value. Nice modern room. In a nice safe neighbourhood. Friendly staff who helped book our excursion to Pompei and Vesuvius very easily. Breakfast was satisfactory. Nice little bar.

Short but great stay at the Rex Hotel. The staff is really nice and perfectly embodies the spirit of Neapolitan hospitality; Clean and tidy room and finally a large breakfast and those croissants… highly recommend.

Rex Hotel is great and especially a good bargain. It's located in probably the best area of town, at least the best we saw. It's right around the corner from a 6 star hotel and close to the water. You get a complimentary breakfast every morning which is very generous. The rooms are cozy and fairly quiet. I didn't like Naples at all unfortunately, but I really enjoyed Rex Hotel and that helped a lot!

Very clean, very central hotel. Reasonable breakfast, helpful staff. Our room no 27 on ground floor was noisy and dark but as we were out most of the tume it didn't matter. It was a good size but Rooms higher up would be better I imagine. Would definitely stay here again as good value.

Beautiful location on the long sea caracciolo, now a pedestrian zone and with numerous restaurants and clubs to spend a pleasant evening. The centre is within walking distance and is located in front of castel dell ovo and the seaside village. Clean and spacious rooms, very nice staff.

Good hotel very well located to visit, well served by public transport. Very clean, well serviced every day. And Nice staff. The breakfast is hearty and delicious. Our room was quiet with a nice view on the sea and Vesuvius. Only downside, plumbing, difficulty to set the temperature of the shower. We recommend this hotel

I have stayed at Hotel Rex for business for the past three years, and enjoy it very much. Excellent location — — walk to the ferry slip, walk to the theater and the funicular, and lots of good restaurants very close by. Friendly professional staff and clean rooms. Thank you!

Great location just 50 metres from the promenade and a few minutes from piazza del Plebiscito, via Toledo. From the balcony of my room view of Vesuvius.

The location is strategic! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Recommend it though the bathroom and air conditioner are renewed.

Convenient walk to the Center and in a quiet location on the lungomare Caracciolo, neat and tidy spacious and the staff very helpful and polite.

The location of the hotel is great, quiet and close to downtown. The size of the room and the bathroom are those of a hotel in an ancient building: gladly sacrifice size for comfort and service at the Hotel Rex are five star, as well as great is the breakfast. I recommend it.

I stayed 2 nights at this Hotel in July, I found the staff friendly and very professional. Great breakfast over the top professional and rich. Super reliable garage in the hotel.

The best thing is in Naples. Really! Perfect breakfast & nice stuff. Hotel is 5 star! Linda is very helpful. But: the city is dangerous ; take care your things. Maybe sy open your bag in the street maybe sy come by motorbike and try to robber your bag. I saw with my eyes 2 times at my 5 days visiting. The english speaking in generally very poor. And most of places the customer service is terrible. So: just we were absolutly satisfied with the hotel.

We stayed for three nights over Valentines weekend in February 2010. First of all the location; couldn't be better — close to many more expensive Hotels, it certainly seemed to be cleaner and safer than anywhere else we saw in this rather grimy and gritty City and was within a short walk of both the seafront and some of the nicest squares and streets in Naples. Lots of good eateries within a block or two — "Da Ettore" and "Borgo Antico" in Via Santa Lucia to name but two. Secondly, the room; a bit on the old fashioned and soberly decorated side with not a lot of room but, reasonably good value. It was very clean, comfortable, pretty quiet and efficiently serviced every morning. Staff; very friendly and helpful, patient with my bad Italian and cheerful and welcoming throughout. Couldn't fault them. Finally, the breakfast; not good for an Englishman I'm afraid. The peculiar arrangement of having it delivered to your room on a tray (having made your choice the night before) is odd to say the least. Probably of acceptable quality if you like Croissants and the like but not up to snuff if you are a bacon and egg man. Even accepting that we are in Europe, I think you'd be disappointed by the limited choice available and the prospect of having to eat it from your bed or perched on the edge of the only small table in the room. Overall; a good inexpensive base for a stay in Naples.
