On the structure and location I think there is very little to add, but on their own they are not enough. As always, I think it is the staff who make the difference: professional, friendly, available in meeting the needs and requests of customers.

Great place to stay sleeping or just having a lunch in its exclusive restaurant with excellent food. The management masters every aspect in order to make you feel home. A very luxurious and well detailed residence!

Nice hotel. Sadly did not get a room with seaview, but was modern, well equipped (USB Ports) and clean. Breakfast buffet was fine with an Italian touch (how much cake and pastries can you eat for breakfast — I believe in Italy, coffee and sweet stuff constitutes breakfast). Staff friendly and knowledgeable (helped point us in the right direction on our day trips). Why not 5 stars. Despite the gorgeous location overlooking the bay of Naples, nothing made you want to stay in the hotel. Think a roof terrace would help here.

Everything was perfect. Our suite was overlooking the sea. A very comfortable and relaxing bed… Unfortunately our stay was only for one night. We also chose to make the breakfast offered by the hotel — breakfast from champions really. Without a doubt, next time when I have to go to Naples I hope to find a room always here.

Mine and I spent a romantic weekend at St. Lucia. We had a suite in front of Ovo's Castel. It was an unforgettable experience.

I normally stay in Air bnbs, not gonna lie, this is the first time in three visits to Italy that I have stayed in a hotel. First, a friend said, stay in a nice hotel, with a sea view, you won't regret It! Totally true, from the top floor we looked out on the sea, over the harbor at the boats. There are many such hotels in Naples. The great thing about the Grand Hotel Saint Lucia is the free breakfast that is very big with excellent coffee, fresh fruit, eggs, bread and pastries. The personal service is excellent, they did everything we asked to make our three days wonderful. I would definitely go back!

We stayed here for quite a few nights of our honeymoon. The breakfast was amazing in the mornings and we loved the location. We had a corner room so we had a nice view outside of our balcony. The rooms look a little rundown but clean. We also loved that they had the valet service so that our vehicle was protected. I don’t know that we would stay here again simply because it was quite expensive for a more rundown view. You really were paying for the view and the location.

We stayed 5 nights and were upgraded when we had a problem, which resolved it without any fuss. The staff are all very pleasant and willing to help. We would recommend the hotel to everyone, also it has an excellent location!

The hotel is in very good place. The staff in general are cuts but not friendly. The breakfast the worst of all the hotels on my trip. The lack of cordiality of the staff detracts from the value of the hotel. They make you feel like they do you a favor by listening.

On the seafront, near Castel Dell'ovo, a short distance from the city center, via Dei Mille, Riviera di Chiaia, via Toledo and whatnot. Exclusive Location, recommended for those looking for a day tax (or event venue) ideal for Panorama and city tours. International users, courteous staff.

Very nice hotel, but has a few shortcomings (low water pressure in the shower, sub-par internet, …) that should not happen in an hotel of this price range and level.

I was taken to a room on the 5th floor that was just renovated and beautiful. Love the bathroom. However the BEST part was the VIEW of the Castello and The sea! It was the First Picture I took of Napoli and put it on Facebook so all my friends and family would be jealous!

We spent two nights here. Clean rooms. Change of towels and daily sheets. To take care of the bathroom faucets.

Family-run historic hotel. Fascinating and expensive but a bit overlooked in some things. Bathroom door peeling off and with MDF on sight. Breakfast great but only a few desserts were good. Noisy rooms. Breathtaking.

Beautiful structure on the seafront of Naples view Castel dell ' Ovo. Pedestrian zone, where you can enjoy a beautiful walk, overlooking Posillipo and Capri. Many locals, where to have an aperitif or a good meal. In Naples, you hardly eat badly. Recommended place at 100%

Hotel Santa Lucia was very accommodating, even before we arrived. They arranged last minute for an English speaking driver to pick us up at the airport. We enjoyed a one night stay with breakfast, and are still talking about the classic decor and wonderful cappuccino.

Overall a great experience, given the high level and the prices of any additional service I have to write down three small negative details escaped the staff.
The first was the brown water output initially from the Jacuzzi probably the suite was not occupied by time and there had been a buildup of rust would have been appropriate to put it in operation for some before the arrival of the guests in a hotel of that level Should be part of the check list
According to the TV did not see well had definitely problem at the antenna check list here too
Third the parquet should be refurbished has a heavy wear.

The ancient and the Modern, sublime mix.

This was our second stay and we had 4 rooms total. The A/C in one of the rooms did not work, and we were given another room. Our most expensive room's A/C barely worked, never getting below 26.5 even when set to 18. We mentioned it to the staff, and they adjusted the thermostat down to 16, but it didn't change anything. It was not bad enough for us to complain again, but when we had another couple in the room it could not keep up. The appearance of the hotel was great as always. Views from the rooms were great. Very high quality breakfast which we recommend. The front desk staff was always very attentive, friendly and helpful. Most of the breakfast staff were friendly, but not as attentive as they should be with bringing cutlery and taking orders shortly after arriving. One of the breakfast staff always ignored us.

Great hotel with the best ocation, this place is awesome!

Staff was absolutely wonderful, breakfast was decent, but the actual room was a total letdown. For somewhere that is 4 stars, we expected a more updated room and nicer flooring (or at least a cleaned rug). The bathroom was very tight and outdated. We did not complain at all as we were on our honeymoon and didn't want to be bothered. The location of the hotel is absolutely wonderful though, so we would stay here again if we ever return to Naples. They were updating the rooftop and 5th floor while we were there, so hopefully they are updating all other rooms as well! We were disappointed that the rooftop was closed when that was a key factor for my booking there. Definitely book here, but call to see if you can get an updated room and if the rooftop is open yet!

In general we were very pleased with the hotel. Our room was large and had a great view of the Bay. The staff waiting on breakfast were helpful and pleasant. The breakfast itself was limited in extent but of high quality. There are a few negative points. We asked at reception if they could change a 50 euro note into, say, two twenties and a ten but were told to go to a bank! The jacuzzi in our room (106) needs attention: the drain plug to release water didn't work properly (the person sent to show the procedure didn't understand the problem) and apart from the light around the edge, the various functions failed to operate. The cold tap on the washbasin leaked at its base, sometimes to the extent that water dripped onto the floor.

The hotel is beautiful but it is run badly. The staff at the reception desk is very formal set up and not welcoming. Nothing of the warmth for which the city is famous. The restaurant Sunday was closed I had to make a pasta with my son of 11 months and was not possible in any way, in the end a very kind waiter took responsibility himself.
The breakfast is quite mediocre and the next morning they did not find a highchair anywhere, in all you have two, for the whole hotel, it seems a little bit.

How can you not love being in Italy on the water? The location is primo, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is good. The rooms could use an upgrade and little better carpet cleaning.

The hotel Santa Lucia is one of the institutions of Naples, carries on the good name of Neapolitan hospitality.

Don't stay here. Good location but this is a 2 star joint with a 4 star facade. This air conditioner barely cooled off our room. Staff did nothing about it. Didn't even offer to change our room. Mattress was stiff and the pillows were stiff with no give to them. Terrible sleep due to those 3 factors. Rooms are very outdated. Just being honest people. If u have a standard then this place will fail you. I stayed in room 329 btw.

Charles is talking absolute cheddar. They have free Wi-Fi and I was on LTE signal the whole time. A one star review because of the lack of an Internet connection… I'd suggest a) getting a life and b) stay in a hostel — they have great Wi-Fi for all those travel blogs the kids write. It's a great hotel, very friendly service and the facilities are great. The location is second to none. Highly recommended.
