Very convenient to town. 3 Pillow options 💕 wonderful linens awesome concierge team… but the coastal view rooms? Priceless.

My wife and I had an unbelievable 5 night stay at Le Sirenuse. The staff and management went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. You get beyond what the price point offers. The design and history of the hotel is amazing, but the service was by far the most impressive we have experienced. Every breakfast, pool-side service or pool-side lunch and dinner was met with greetings by name by all the staff, and with the ultimate sincerity and constant check-ins to see what more they could do to serve us. And everyone at the front desk was always at our beckon calling for any simple or big need (hello Dyson hairdryer or last second private yacht hire! ). Very relaxing pool, easy beach and port access, thoroughly enjoyed Aldo’s, La Sponda and Franco’s bar. Le Sirenuse will always be remembered fondly and we will certainly return anytime we are in Positano.

For more than 20 years, my daughter and I have elected to spend every special occasion celebration possible at Le Sirenuse. It has remained our favorite world wide. In addition to the physical elegance and amenities, the management and staff are unparalleled. We hope to have an opportunity to return soon and often.

Definitely one of the best hotels in Positano. The rooms are all different and have character as well as modern upgrades. Spectacular views from the pool deck with attentive staff. Breakfast was better than the dinner at restaurant.

AMAZING restaurant! We came for drinks to watch the sunset at the oyster bar first. Although the drinks are expensive, the view is beautiful and the waiters are very friendly. Afterwards we went downstairs to the restaurant. The manager was fantastic, we got serenaded and our food was impeccable. The wine selection was one of the largest my husband had ever seen, and we were very impressed by the range of selection and pricing available at such an exclusive restaurant. We did have to book 6 months in advance, but if you can hold out for a 10pm booking you get to see the restaurant and the view with not many people left!

Quite possibly the best hotel I have ever visited. Staff are wonderful. Atmosphere is just exquisite. Views? Wow wow wow. Visited for drinks and canopies in the evening. Waiters are super friendly and treat all guests residing or general public with such great service. Due to this experience we have booked a stay with them next year. Dreaming about this splendid little gem until next time.

We dined here Friday evening. For our 30th wedding Anniversary… Superb The staff were wonderful. And they made our 30th Anniversary so special and an experience to remember would absolutely recommend Thank you.

What can you expect from a 5 Star hotel? Food is amazing. Rooms are great. Jacuzzi and shower in bathroom are luxuries. The view is breathtaking and surreal. The staff knew my name when I went to registration without me having to introduce myself. The waiter knew exactly what I ordered the day before. Everything was top-notch. Unfortunately, so was the price but you sometimes get what you pay for. If you have the chance and means to visit this hotel, you will not be disappointed.

Good quality food with a great view. On the high end for price though.

I was wait listed for 2-3 months for dinner. I understand. I waited too long to reserve. I got a reservation for lunch. I was excited and I call myself a food snob. I eat at many Michelin restaurants whenever I travel. I was not informed that lunch is non Michelin rated. The food was mediocre at best. I am sad to say this. It was comparable to any local restraint rated 3/5 star by normal standards. I had grilled beef and my wife had cod. Bill is about 202 euros. Not inexpensive for a lunch. For a Michelin 1 star dinner, the lunch should be vastly superior. Look up my other posts to confirm that I eat at Michelin restaurants. Don’t come here for lunch and expect Michelin food quality. Go somewhere in town for half the price and get the same taste or better. I hate to write this post : (

This review is for a party of 3, 2 rooms the nights of May 7 (48 & 73) + 8 (77 & 73), 2018 1. The first and main part of my review is because of the noise in room 48 at night. I made 3 audio clips and posted them on YouTube titled ‘Le Sirenuse Hotel, Positano – Room 48’ so you can listen to the audio for yourself. Basically, the noise sounded as though the room is positioned directly under a laundromat (rushing water, constant clicking noise). The noise continued through the duration of the night and prevented me from sleeping. This room cost 1250 Euros for a single night. I complained at 12:30am, and asked if any previous guests had complained of the noise (to which they said no, but their no seemed dubious). The concierge didn’t want to come down to my room at 12:30am and sent the bell hop, whose eyes got rather large standing outside the door listening to the clicking noise. The hotel manager the next morning had no interest in listening to the audio/video files on my phone, and said he would ‘investigate. ’ I still cannot believe they charged me for the room that night! 2. Le Sirenuse is a destination hotel and we were guests for two nights. On two different occasions, there were tourists walking down the hallway of our rooms. The lobby and eating areas were filled with reservations from people just visiting the hotel, not staying at the hotel.

They do not reach the 5 stars to qualify it.

This review is for La Sponda. The ambiance and service were absolutely 5 stars. The food was 2 stars at best. As expected, the portions were very small but unfortunately were not as tasty as a Michelin star or the price would suggest. The views were very nice as we were seated by the window. Overall the experience was great but the food was below average.

Absolutely unparalleled! You will enjoy a peace and serenity difficult to find anywhere else. Impeccable service, friendly staff, high quality food. But the strong point of this structure, as well as in the taste of the furnishings, is the view! I will definitely go back!

Only went to the aperitif on the bar terrace with spectacular view of the Gulf of Positano at the end we also got to eat. I can only do compliments. Polite and professional staff.

Amazing. We stayed in March 2018 and the hotel is beautiful. The staff are super nice. Location is right on. We stayed in 2 different rooms and they were both amazing. Super clean, great views, great bathrooms, great everything. Breakfast was also amazing. We ate at the La Sponda restaurant one nite and it’s 5 stars. Make a booking and don’t miss it. Definitely will be back when traveling to Positano.

Spectacular views and great service We really enjoyed the view here. Unfortunately we only got to have lunch as dinner reservations were fully booked up for La Sponda. Lunch was still a great experience. We had fish entrees which were quite good and perfectly cooked but it was their cocktail drinks that really stole the show. Definitely more on the pricey side but well worth the experience. We would 100% come back for the dinner.

The staff are warm and extremely accomodating. The sommelier is knowledgeable and will help you match your wines to your food (even by the glass) … & of course, the food was sensational. Highly recommend for a special occasion or treat!

Drinks at oyster and champagne bar are amazing. Excellent G&T (not that these are hard to get wrong). Expensive so drinks come with olives (delicious), almonds (delicious) and chips (rather salty). Staff are very friendly, attentive and nice. I would recommend for drinks before dinner. Boasts quite a high-end clientele so great for people watching!

The only Michelin started restaurant on the coast. The service was excellent (as expected), the views second to none and they even had two musicians playing to each table. However not everything was good, the food even though was of high calibre there was some disappointments. We ordered the beef shins which we found them dry, and the John dory quite small in portion size. Small little things however when you pay 40-50 euros each dish you expect better. There were stand out dishes though and they were the shrimp ravioli with saffron sauce, tortellini with truffle and the veal. Food 4/5 Service 5/5 Ambience 5/5

The view was amazing. The service was good. The food was average. Very dramatic. Very small. The taste was quite bland and was a bit disappointing to be honest. For the $622 AUD for 2 people I think the food should've been a bit more WOW factor for a Michelin star restaurant.

The best place to stay in Positano. Gorgeous views, the best breakfast of your life, an elegant restaurant and another hip Champagne bar with fresh seafood — plus the concierge is well-connected for any other place you might want to go. Pack light and check out the Emporio Sirenuse shops across the street to get breezy beach cover-ups and linen outfits to fit in with the local scene.

We dined in La Sponda restaurant and had the most magical dining experience here whilst in Positano celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary. The staff were so attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. The tables are positioned with beautiful views over Positano with its twinkling lights. There was also a trio of musicians serenading all night long making our experience so magical. We would definitely recommend this restaurant, especially, if like us you are celebrating a special occasion. La Sponda has it's own unique magic. Well Done La Sponda.

Truly unique experience staying in Positano. Easy reachable in the center of a town, it has its own unique atmosphere. Every detail at this hotel seems to be not overlooked. Staff is exceptional.

Excellent location with excellent services, good room, good view but for the price we paid (junior suite), this hotel has a big gap when compared to hotel Belmond Caruso in Ravello while Le Sirenuse is way more expensive with limited facilities. We stayed here for 3 nights and left for the Belmond Caruso in Ravello. Caruso has stunning view, unbelievably beautiful pool, great restaurant, shuttle services to Amalfi, and big beautiful garden. Prior to this, we also travelled to Portofino and stayed at hotel Belmond Splendido and it was very worth the price. We liked Le Sirenuse but what you get from what you paid was not worth. However, its main restaurant "La Sponda" is 5 stars, a must if you come to Positano and want to have a very fine dining. We also enjoyed the breakfast area with breathtaking view and great service. I would rate this hotel 5 stars if price is more reasonable or if the facilities are more plentiful.

Beautiful place, but they don't allow children under 8 years old to dine. What kind of place still use these type of discrimination.

The food is good but no better than many of the other places in Positano that cost 1/5 of the price. Our bill was 366 Euro and we split everything. Sooooooo not worth it. Sorry Le Sirenuse.

My Husband and I have stayed at Le Sirenuse two years straight and wouldn't consider any other hotel in Positano, last year was for our honeymoon and this year for our anniversary (both times in August) and when I tell you it was the best time of our lives, it was in every way. Everyone at Le Sirenuse is like another family to us, they treat all their guests like they are apart of them and I cannot express how much my husband and I love it there so much. The beauty, the elegance and the tradition is what Le Sirenuse is, they are Positano and you will be foolish to stay anywhere else as it will be an experience that will be unforgettable and I hope next year will be a third time for us! Ti Amo Le Sirenuse, ci vediamo presto, we cannot thank you enough for our stay with you as you all hold a special place in our hearts and especially to our Leonardo!

Bad experience. Invited hoenymooners and filled a credit card authorization form but the restuarant gave our guests the bill to pay. It was paid by our guests and no one from the staff who took care of the reservation noticed that they should not have presented the bill to our guests. This is not forgivable or acceptable.

My family stayed here this August. Everything here was truly amazing! There may be hotels as good but not better. We had and unforgettable experience.

For three years I return to this wonderful hotel but that would not be what it is without her wonderful staff. The problem is, I don't want to go anywhere else since there you feel better than at home cuddled as best you can not a particular bonus for la Sponda restaurant that thanks largely to Matthew and his collaborators you pass every time and I want to go back.
