Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, delicious food and wine, a comfortable room, and of course, breathtaking views. Absolutely fantastic! Special thanks to Antonio for making our stay extra wonderful.

We had our wedding reception here and it was absolutely perfect. The service was impeccable, the staff made the whole evening feel so special and views are insane. If you want to stunt, definitely come to the Marincanto.

Best hotel ever. Such a lovely and accommodating staff. Views to die for and impecable place. They offer a delicious glass of prosecco while they take care of your check in. Breakfast is included and has plenty of options from sweets to salty. Homemade cappuccinos were our go to every morning with the option of soy milk if intolerant. Their restaurant is incredible. Also, it has direct access to the beach! If ever considering going to Positano, this is your best option to make the best for your money.

Amazing view. Our room had a lookout overlooking the harbour and the sunsets were fantastic. The staff are lovely and very accommodating. The provided breakfast was all the carbs and protein we needed for a days touring.

Excellent site with a special magic, where we will return safe. The views are stunning and the service spectacular.

This hotel has honestly been one of the greatest travel experiences of my life. The room was pristine and vintage, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The staff was extremely friendly, and they helped us out with everything that we needed from early in the morning till the middle of the night. The only thing that was a little bit challenging was the walk to the beach because it was so far away, but it was expected because of the structure of Positano and our beautiful view. Our room had a wonderful terrace with vibrant flowers and beach chairs to relax and it was picture perfect. They also had a great pool overlooking the ocean, and a fantastic European breakfast with some of the friendliest servers. It is an exquisite experience, and I am definitely thinking about coming back to this establishment.

I was not an overnight guest so I cannot speak to the quality of the hotel. However, the view at the hotel is unbeatable as you get the direct view of the pastel houses on the cliff.

Beautiful views, excellent location, and great staff! We have only been here one night but have enjoyed our experience. We got the standard room with a partial view which is nice, but we wish we had upgraded to a suite room with a full balcony. Update: we stayed in room 229 which is really noisy in the morning. I think we are next to the supply room so starting at 7 am there is banging from coming in and out. Still an awesome time here!

My boyfriend and I just returned from Italy yesterday and the best part of our trip was staying in Positano and especially staying at the Marincanto! It was such an incredible experience and the service and food was perfect. I couldn't think of anything that we would have asked differently. We truly had the best time here and I would recommend this to anyone going to Positano!

The view is beautiful. We stayed at the room on the 3rd floor and had an amazing view from our balcony. The breakfast is pretty good, standard, but food was delicious and very fresh. Staff is very attentive and friendly.

Absolutely beautiful hotel overlooking the Mediterranean in Positano. The rooms are amazing, the staff is hard working and absolutely wonderful, and the location can't be beat. Great pool, and has direct access to a private sitting area with deck chairs at the beach (though it's Positano, so that involves stairs. A LOT of stairs) And most important, PARKING. It's right, but you hand over your keys and they shuffle the cars around so you don't have to think of it at all. Loved. Hotel Marincanto.

A slice of heaven. Almost can't believe a place this magical exists. Can't think of a place more beautiful for a family wedding.

We had a wonderful time here! We decided to get married on the rooftop (Solarium Rosso) and have our dinner on the Lemon Terrace at Hotel Marincanto July 2015. They were so accommodating to us and our 30 guests. Antonella and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay and a memorable wedding. The hotel was beautiful, the food was great, our wedding pictures are breathtaking, and the views of Positano and the sea from the rooms, pool, restaurant, rooftop are all amazing. We had so many questions throughout the wedding planning process (all done over email since we live in the U. S. ) and so many events to coordinate when we got there — the entire staff took it in stride. They were so helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to stay at Hotel Marincanto again!

My wife and I spent half of our honeymoon here. It was gorgeous and the service was top notch. It is definitely pricey, but you will certainly not be disappointed by your experience.

Hotel fabulous a fantastic view impeccable service but breakfast not great food other than that I go back and I recommend women room Lina Elena and Nunsia beautiful and spotlessly clean and the reception staff very good.

My wife and I came to the Marincanto to celebrate our 10th anniversary, and we weren't disappointed in the least. Our stay was almost perfect, and the hotel was the center of our enjoyment. Food was fantastic, the room was spectacular, and the location perfect. Hotel staff could not have been more accommodating and professional. Thanks to all the folks that made our stay so memorable. Best place to stay in Positano. We will be staying there May 2013 for our 10th time! The hotel and staff are the best ever! They treat you like family and definitely devoted to assisting you in every way. The staff has remained the same for all these years which tells you that they are devoted to a wonderful experience. The hotel has the best views. Excellent rooms, a great location. This is a family owned hotel. This hotel has become so popular it is definitely a place to make reservations. The hotel offers everything! Pool, restaurant, most wonderful lobby, best free buffet breakfast you can imagine, great sundeck separate from the pool, wonderful patio, jacuzzi tubs, best views, private beach below, and great for getting away from street noises because the hotel is located in the cliff of Positano. You have to take an elevator from street level down into the cliffs to get to lobby and room levels. They have added a family own restaurant for evening dining which is great. Some evenings they have a piano player or other music entertainment to relax in the lobby or on their patio. We love sitting in the lobby during the day and just relaxing and reading or out on the deck. They also have a great menu for lunch or room service. They know us! 6pm means deliver to the room a bottle of wine and a pot of coffee and they always add appetizers! We and the staff hug, kiss and cry when we arrive and then again when we leave.
