Powerscourt Arms Hotel

I hate being negative but dropped in for lunch today. Very disappointing, my meal was Turkey and ham it came out one slice of turkey with burnt stuffing on top, watery potatoes and swimming in gravy. My partner had the fish and chips that was lovely. The sfaff were friendly and I love the little shop so much so I bought bread and FXB rashers. Left feeling disappointed by the food. Karen.

You must taste the food in the outdoor section it is sooo good.

Had a 50th wedding anniversary gathering here. The Staff were fantastic they all went out of their way to help with the set up and also making sure that we were happy throughout the meal. Susan is fantastic. We were a small group of 16. All family. The tables were all set up with 1metre apart. We had our own server James who went above and beyond. Fantastic would highly recommend here for small or large groups to celebrate any family occasion. Thank you to you all.

Totally disenchanted! Food was dreadful, service was poor, atmosphere zero. This is not what a lovely village needs in a pub restaurant. During filming we had a lovely barbecue burger so returned to enjoy the experience. This time it was greasy spoon standard so we will not be back. We are local and want to support local but the Powerscourt Arms needs to sharpen up because there’s no future in the service and quality we experienced tonight.

First of all the staff are friendly and attentive, Susan makes you feel very welcome and its brilliant for here to have a local lady as manager someone who cares about Enniskerry and all who visit.
Caoimhe and Kian are excellent servers and go above and beyond.
The food was really magnificent and I would recommend the Prawn Pil Pil and Hot Brie Salad. Both very fresh and full of flavour Would highly recommend here for both locals and visitors 10/10

Food was amazing, staff are very friendly. The only downfall is the toilets.

Had lunch here on Saturday great service from Sue and staff the food was lovely and great value we will be back.

I am a fussy steak cuisine eater it has to be cooked to my liking and this chef did just that. Bleeding still on the plate with fried onions and mushrooms. Chips and coleslaw were just gorgeous. Thank you for being so friendly and welcoming to an Englishman that has got used to a completely different attitude from people whom have made my country their home. It took me back to my childhood and where I came from. Unity and wellbeing.
Look forward to my return with Lyn.

Had coffee and scones here today. Very very very bad scones. They was warmed in the microwave and stuck to the napkin. So disgusting. The one staff member they had on was lovely and very apologetic. But was the worst experience I've had in Ireland so far.

Nothing to write home about: neither too good nor bad, I guess. I did like the fact one can find free entrance and also enjoy it with their children or family. Naturally you'd come weekend time but it's never terribly busy which is nice.

Absolutely fantastic experience! We walked from the Powerscourt Hotel and started with pints in the pub and then had dinner outside at the restaurant. Both experiences were excellent: balanced selection of beer, great dinner specials (one lamb and one beef), a shared vegetable, homemade Bailey's cheesecake and excellent conversation with locals. We expect to go again before we leave Ireland next Monday. — A couple from Iowa, USA.

Location was ideal re visiting Powerscourt House & Gardens. Rooms clean, large but rather sparse. Staff fun and helpful and the food was reasonable. We had to leave early, 06:00 hrs, and they were very accommodating giving a discount because we were too early for a breakfast which we had at Dublin Docks.

Mac's Lounge is here. Deep fried Brie with Cranberry sauce and greens was an excellent starter. Both the Salmon and the Sea Bass were great choices. On this night Mash and company catered to all. There are numerous function rooms here from small to large including a semi-formal tented area capable of seating 100+. Also an outdoor patio with picnic tables for great weather days. If you're looking for local fare and atmosphere Mac's Lounge, inside the Powerscourt Arms Country House, is it!

Nice food and the staff are mental (good mental)

We went there for dinner tonight. The food was good and the servings had a good size.
Unfortunately the waiter was completely overchallenged. We waited very long, comparte to other Restaurants we've been to, the tables where dirty and on top of everything — of course they heared that we are tourists — they tried to charge us one extra drink and — watch out — they already tip themselve. For a total of 34, 00€ they tip themselve 5, 40€.
We would never have given that much tip cause it was the worst! Service we ever experienced in ireland.

Stop several times for lunch with clients, nice and quite, only one or two waitresses but always serviced with smile, good food good price. Always accommodate my requests.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Super accommodating and as a Marriott rewards member we were upgraded and it was by far one of the best places we have stayed.

Only gave 4 star's due to the renovation work being carried out while my stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful the food was very good and the room's are clean.

Love this place. So cosy and comfortable. Food is brilliant. Rooms ok bit dated but exactly what a country house should be. I'll be back soon.

Warm and friendly. Very welcome stop for good food after a good hike in the Wicklow Mountains.

The food was ok but the staff very poor. Long time waiting for food. The hotel itself is so dirty and out of date. Not at all clean or comfortable. One of the worst places I have had the misfortune to be in. Dead fly in the bed, torn carpets which is also dangerous. Should be shut down. No stars awarded.

We had our engagement party last night in the lounge and we had the best night. The food was great and plentiful. The music was fun and perfect for the mixed crowd we had. The staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. Such a great night.

Only stopped for a bite to eat. Area very dark staff were nice.

Staff were excellent, breakfast was good standard, beds were comfortable only thing was the bathroom was dated but shower worked fine.

Perfect for what and where it is. Fantastic friendly staff with food that is better than you were expecting. Huge mix of customers all treated excellently and no fuss made about it. Even the chappy Wi-Fi is not a problem.

We had a family meal on Sunday, 22 people on a busy bank holiday and the service was amazing. The selection on the menu suited all ages and catered for everyone. The quality of food was fantastic so much so we had to take away an extra order of the Brie starter — tasted amazing!
A huge thank you to Shay and all the staff at the Powerscourt Arms for making our evening even more special.

It is a very cosy place right in the middle of ennniskery village. Hotel has bar and restaurant. Restaurant has very friendly staff who would serve you very well. All food cook very good and definitely I would comeback.

Fantastic food, friendly staff, Rooms about to be updated which will make this place perfect once complete. Will stay again most certainly.

We haven't stayed in the hotel as we live within 15 miles but we are regular visitors because the standard and sheer variety of meals served is truly excellent. Great value too considering the quality of cuisine and the staff are all very friendly.

Lovely hotel. Gourgeos food. Love all the decoration. Its very fancy and relaxing. We really want to stay again by the way the room was very pretty and cozy. We felt very safe staying in this beatifull hotel we were very sad leaving the hotel.
