I cannot recommend the Residence highly enough.
From the second you walk in the door your treated like royalty.
The staff are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. The hotel itself is spotless and there always making sure it's that way. Our room was lovely it was at the back of the hotel so away from the noise of the street below which was great. The breakfast bag every morning is a great touch. the bar 1520 is v nice well done up and the staff in it are very attentive and friendly. all in all 10/10

Considering Covid restrictions, and visiting The Residence on the week of the Galway races, we thought that there would be a lot of teething problems in the hotel regarding eating out and drinking time limits etc, but they were most helpful and accommodating and professional in their handling of us as guests, and we enjoyed the food, music and general craic over the bank holiday weekend. Highly recommend. X.

Everything was perfect, and more than expected. The price, the location and the room was absolutely wonderful. Couldn't have asked for more. I hope the hotel never loses its character or amenities!

We only visited & enjoyed a short time having afternoon tea.
This was a wonderful experience & would recommend sharing this if you were seeking an occasional treat.

No l am sorry but l just could Not recommend this place… we stayed for 3 nights has 2 rooms… they’re bar has music every night and is to loud… we asked maybe it could get turned down a wee little bit… the music didn’t stop till 11:30 sometimes 2:30… then at the crack of dawn the delivery trucks came… then the garbage trucks dump thousands of bottles in bins l started in the heart of Dublin… the band played great music… just not so loud… good time had by all I spoke to the front desk/the manager … l believe his name was James… he just stood there with his arms crossed… l felt he handled it very poorly and addressed nothing.

Staff was very accommodating and nice. My room was the most modern and well appointed out of my 10 day trip. The location is ideal and the Rooms are unique.

Wonderful experience. The desk clerk helped us so much with a surprise for my daughter. He went above and beyond. Very down to earth and friendly people!

Great Hotel and bar 1520 was buzzing! Staff very helpful.

The hotel is just fabulous staff friendly it s a few years since I was there.

Excellent hotel, really nice rooms and great location, staff are friendly and accommodating. The food in the bar downstairs was delicious. Third time I've stayed in Galway and by far the best hotel yet.

My cousin and I stayed at your hotel and it was just fabulous. Room was spotless with beautiful, modern details, a nespresso coffee machine in room was a nice touch! The breakfast bag left outside room in the morning was a nice treat, tasty orange juice, muffin, granola yogurt and apple Excellent location in the heart of Galway and the pub underneath is a great spot for drinks in the evening. Staff were helpful and friendly… would love to return on our next visit to Galway

Stayed here for a night and then in the Radisson Blu and was far more impressed with Residence. Every detail in the hotel is thought out and really impressive. Excellent location, lovely decor and polite and friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast/hangover pack left outside the room is a kind touch! A great new hotel.

Absolutely gorgeous rooms! Location unreal. Would definitely recommend to stay here if you're looking for somewhere trendy and central in Galway.
