Excellent B&B. People are very kind and helpfull. The room has everything you need, tv, bathroom, fridge. Breakfast is great and super complete. The house is nearby almost everything. You can walk everywhere. Great location!

I spent one night here one weekend, although it might not look like much from the front, there is a very handy car park at the back and whats inside more than makes up for it! The room was very comfortable, nice clean en-suite and the breakfast in the morning was done to perfection. I would recommend Desota House to anyone looking for somewhere to stay on the west side of Galway. It's right beside University Hospital Galway and the Cathedral.

We had a great stay and we appreciate them taking us in last minute. Our room was large and the bathroom was huge. We tried to stay another night, but they were booked so we weren’t able to stay. Which is understandable. It was a nice experience.

Excellent location only a few minutes walk from the city center, Galway Cathedral, and NUIG. The rooms are comfortable, private, and well appointed. The breakfast is delicious with typical continental options, but also has several made to order hot breakfast choices as well. All this for a very reasonable price!

Despots house is a really good Bed and Breakfast, room was very comfortable. Breakfast was really good. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in the front bedroom and enjoyed a large room and bath area. The home was clean and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and was served by a helpful young lady. The home is well located close to the downtown area. We were guests in June, 2016.

Great place, has it's own car park and is within easy walking distance of the city centre, also NUI Galway and the cathedral. This is a good thing, as it is very difficult to drive in Galway due to amount of traffic at certain times of the day. Back to the B&B, breakfast is really good, with a wide selection of items, including cereals, yoghurt and full Irish. The downside is the traffic noise from the road outside (see comment above), but even that is muted by the double glazing.

Clean and comfortable place to stay within ten minutes of anywhere in the old city center that you'd like to walk to. Also within easy distance of the university for access to the open spaces there.

Straightforward no frills B&B. Great for its class. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The entire B&B is quite small but the rooms are well setup. Bathroom is clean, but quite small, nothing too serious though. Good full Irish breakfast, which is cooked fresh apparently. Really friendly service and great hosts. Great price and excellent value for money. In a good location, withing walking distance to the city center and everything you would be visiting in Galway. Has onsite parking. Would come back. Would recommend.

Staff are very friendly, the rooms are always spotless, great prices and great food.

Stayed here for 2 nights during the week and I must say the staff are very helpfull and friendly, the rooms are clean and comfy and it is in a great location for the Hospital and for Eyre square. The breakfast is great with a choice of fruit, cereal and a couple of cooked options. I will def be back to stay if im in galway again. 5 star quality for 3 star price. Thankyou to the staff and owners for a great stay.
