Lovely friendly staff, clean rooms.

Just stayed in jury’s for two nights with family and can’t compliment it enough, from the staff to the comfort of the room to the lovely breakfast, we will definitely be back also very central to the city.

The Kitchen Restaurant was phenomenal. 6:00pm Friday evening. Great service from Emma and fantastic food, craft beer went well with our meals.

I had a room that made me feel like I had special needs which I dont. Parking was not good. Transferred clothes from my bag in the car park to my carry on bag too far to get to my room.

The staff and accommodations were top notch. We loved it so much that we extended a night. We should have made this our "home base" for whole vacation! Close to everything GALWAY.

Stayed in Jury’s while in Galway for race week. Had a fabulous time. Such a nice atmosphere in the hotel with really lovely staff. Bar staff were very friendly and welcoming and gave brilliant recommendations on the best sights are the city. Very clean. Will definitely be returning and would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Excellent location right in Galway centre, with secure parking right next door. Car park has some tight turns for a large car, there are no lifts in car park, you get a new ticket at Reception for discounted price. Great choice of food and drinks. Nice bar, restaurant and garden too! Staff are very friendly and helpful. We only had one night in Galway, so glad we chose to spend it here.

Wonderful downtown location. Clean rooms, quite comfortable and reasonably priced. Get breakfast included for at least part of your stay, it's a good deal, and the restaurant is very good. Our room overlooked the river, absolutely beautiful. We were there in April so no worries about it being to warm. You do pay for parking during certain hours but it's not much. Steps away are several blocks closed to traffic and filled with shops and pubs. As this was the first nice weather they'd had for a while, the streets were jammed with crowds and street musicians after dark. A great base from which to explore the wonderful city of Galway. There was also a rolling train that stopped just in front that can take you around the city. We used it to go to the aquarium which is a fun activity, especially for kids, and it has an excellent view of Galway Bay. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and it was a great place to begin our experience in Ireland. Hope to return soon.

Jury's is a great place to stay to be near the pedestrian shopping street. However, not a great place when it is unusually warm, as there is no air conditioning. They did put a fan in our room, which really helped. Also, due to it's location, our room and those around it are very noisy at night. So if possible, ask for a quiet room not facing the front. It is an older hotel… we stayed here in 2000 as well, but it appears to be well maintained. We are satisfied overall, but would sure enjoy having AC.

Great location right beside the town with loads of bars and restaurants to pick from and sites to visit. I stay here every year with a large group of family and friends. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a carpark attached but it is a public one and at an extra cost but still handy as the location is good.

Incredible location to all restaurants and pubs. Walk right out the front door and you’re there. That was a huge plus! Everything else though was just alright. The room was facing the water which was pretty but it was a holiday weekend so it got a bit noisy at all hours of the night. Our room overlooked the taxi and bus drop off area. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Had to pay to park and the deck was extremely small. Had to fight to find a spot since it is open to the public. I would stay again for location and access alone.

Clean and easy to enjoy. This hotel is right on the waterfront and around the corner from lots of pubs, restaurants and shoos. Great walking and close to the canals and other places of interest. The room are streamlined and very comfortable. Happy to be here.

The rooms were really nice and it is in a great location. A quick walk to the water or to a bunch of shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again.

Had a great 3 night stay with our 5 and 3 year old boys. Perfect location. They were able to move us to the larger family room (two beds and a pull out bed) which was very spacious.

Located close to shopping malls and pedestrian street. This property is ideal for shopping and business. Espacieuses rooms and a warm welcome.

Nicely appointed room. It was clean and cozy. The soap, conditioner, shampoo dispensers attached to the walls of the bathroom were a off-putting as they gave the bathroom a "low budget" feel.

Very friendly Staff and very comfortable Breakfast is good and at an acceptable price (9 euros, with hot dishes prepared on request). The only drawback is the a little old fixtures and the lack of kits to wash in the bathroom (there is only one generic soap). Very comfortable room.

It has a wonderful entrance with a fake fireplace that makes my warmth and over Christmas they decorate everything and this makes it very quaint.
It has views of the harbour and at night feels the sea that accompanies you in your dreams.

Very modern hotel and well located a few meters from the main street of the city. The staff were lovely and the quality breakfast. I moderated my note because I slept poorly, the window of the room being poorly insulated, the air and the noise Alph in the piece and suddenly it was quite cold.

A few month ago I have had the opportunity to spend a night at the hotel. The staff is very professional, the rooms are well equipped and clean. We have had a few pints at the bar before hitting the town, the bar crew was nice and communicative. The next morning we have breakfast at the hotel which was also great, massive selection of various food items. Only downside of the hotel is the parking lot. There are very limited room available for cars to move around, very tight corners.

Brilliant stay here again, location excellent and the staff are fantastic, friendly and very helpful. Rooms are lovely and very comfortable. It was a significant birthday for my husband and the hotel had a lovely complimentary cake left in the room for us along with some vouchers for complimentary drinks in bar plus a voucher towards dinner at any of the Jury Inn Restaurants, valid for one year. Such a generous gesture and we really appreciated it. Looking forward to our next visit.

Just back from a 3 night stay at this hotel and it was excellent from check in to leaving, the staff were all lovely and very helpful, we had a river view room which was spotless and cleaned thoroughly each day, breakfast was really good with lots of choices and the bar food was delicious, I couldn't fault anything and would definitely stay again, it's also so close to Eyre square and all the shopping streets.

We had a great stay there. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The room was lovely. Class view of the river from our room. Would recommend jury's to anyone.

Its centrality, convenience and well-appointed location is its big draw; its proximity to interior and discounted parking are advantages too. As for being a member, there are also advantages: recognition, quick and agreeable service are evident. As for accommodation, it is clean, and smartly maintained. One detail lets the latter down, namely the shower — the head should have multiple modes, not one. Disappointing feature. Otherwise, good value for money.

Excellent room! We loved being able to see the Corrib River from our window. The beds were comfy, room was very clean and the bathroom was spacious. We'd love to come stay again in the future.

Very nice staff, clean and Inexpensive. Breakfast needs to be paid separately, but is worth every penny.

Great hotel at the foot of the Quay. Only an 8 minute walk to/from the bus and train stations. Nice room and grounds. Would stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Galway.

Very friendly and helpful staff! The breakfast includes everything from traditional irish to continental and we could not have been happier with it. The location is perfect for bars, restaurants and shopping but on the other hand that also makes it very noisy. They had double windows so that you don't hear all that but you can't open the window during the night to let in some fresh air. The room itself was nice and clean. It's definately a good hotel but in my opinion it's a bit pricey for what it is.

Ideally located at the bottom of the pedestrian streets next to the Canal Plus covered parking directly from the hotel.

Nice hotel. Meets all of my basic requirements for being clean and we'll organized. The location is perfect and you can easily walk to many of the popular places in Galway from here.

We were in the garden in the summer to drink beer, very pleasant area, facing the river but out from the crowd. It is also good if you've got a family, because the area is protected and fenced. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly.

Decent hotel. Great location if visiting Galway. Right at the start of Quay street where all the bars and restaurants are located. Fantastic beer garden out the back for the rare sunny Galway days :)

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was superb and the outside river garden was beautiful. While it has great views of the river and the Spanish Arch, the city center location made for noisy days and nights. The hotel was bustling with large tour groups and students. The parking ramp was also expensive and a nightmare for someone used to a bigger American parking ramp. Scraped up the rental car trying to navigate the tight turns and super narrow parking spots. It is pefectly located for walking your way around Galway for shopping, eating and drinking. But, if you're like me and enjoy a quiet, slower paced experience you might opt for a B&B outside of the city center.

Great hotel, lovely bar and outdoor courtyard area. Simple yet sweet rooms, love the artwork hanging on the walls. View from most sides of the building, if not the front or right side of building, sort of bland but who sits and stares or a window all day long? Great spot though right on the river!

It was alright I thought it was weird I wasnt allowed outside to have a smoke hadta go to the carpark instead, resident bar closed well to early, breakfast was nice but cheap ketchup ruined it.

The best hotel to stay in if you're not driving because it's right by all the bars, restaurants and shops. Rooms are nice but nothing special, car parking is expensive. Great for a weekend away.

Great location, lovely rooms — just be sure not to get one facing onto the Spanish arch, gets fairly noisy at night time. Car parking is public but hotel do a deal of €10 per night (until 1pm the following day). You can come and go as you please in that time for no extra charge. Awful car park though. Very tight and tricky to manoeuvre around and the lift starts on the first floor level so god help you if you're in a wheelchair.

Really nice decor in lobby and nice bar. Had a coffee meeting in the Inn. Very friendly and helpful staff. Had lunch here too, probably one of my top soup and toasted sandwich locations.

Say what you want about location but at the end of the day this hotel IS over priced and you do not get value for money. I loved Galway but for the whole trip we felt we could of got a better experience if we had of stayed elsewhere, I will never return and would never recommend. Show original message.

The heritage of the Jurys Group can be traced back to 1881, when William Jury opened his first boarding house in Dublin. The first Doyle Hotel, The Montrose, was built in Stillorgan, Dublin, in 1964 by PV Doyle. The newly enlarged organisation, now known as Jurys Doyle Hotel Group Limited, was formed in 1999, when the Doyle portfolio of Dublin, London and Washington DC hotels was acquired by the Jurys Hotel Group.

Very central in middle of everything, have to pay for parking and breakfast, breakfast normal poor hotel food, with it for the location, great views possible.

There last season just love it as I said on trip advisor.

Nice hotel, good service — perfect location.

No extractor fan in hotel bedroom toliets and amazingly enough they do not have toliet brushes in each room, on asking reception as to why rooms do not have a toliet brush I was tolded it was to do with health and hygiene, on asking them what would a toliet brush be used for other than cleaning a toliet the receptionist told me she was not at liberity to tell me. All very strange really. The room did not have a thermostat, and a customer vomited in the lift due to too much alcohol as we entered.

AMAZING customer service. Stayed there one night in December and a day later I realized I had left a ring in my room. Called and within a week I received it (granted I live in the US so thats really fast) in the mail with no shipping charges whatsover.

A fine place to stay if you like to party in Quay street! a little noisy at times but a fine hotel.

Very clean and friendly. I was on the first floor and had to open the window with the head but was still a great place to stay.

Superb location in the Spanish Arch area with great bars and restaurants right next door. Parking is attached and will set you back €10/night. Be prepared for some tight corners in the parking lot. Beware! There are 2 Quay Streets in Galway. When navigating to the hotel use "Spanish Arch, Galway" as your destination and you won't miss it.
