My family and I stayed here and found the hotel to be exceptional. The rooms were newly updated, clean, and the beds were so comfortable and a true King size. As a family of four, we had to get two separate rooms which were not connected. It worked out for us, but it may help to have more family type rooms in the hotel as it seemed a popular family destination.

Beautiful hotel just back from weekend here. Everything is great apart from breakfast this morning was frezzing cold very disappointed as stayed in hotel in Nov and everything was great very disappointed.

I just had the most gorgeous pizza in the bar. Very reasonable too. Service was quick and with a smile 😊

This is our fav place to stay in whenever we are in Galway. The staff is so kind and the food is super tasty and the hot tub has to be the most scenic one with large spacious swimming pool as well. The rooms are huge and worth the money. Must stay when in Galway!

Absolutely wonderful hotel. From the moment we checked in till when checked out everything was amazing. The staff are all so lovely, food was amazing, cocktails in the bar are a must. I cannot recommend The Galmont enough and I can't wait to make a return visit.

Just back from a stay here. I have to say that it is a wonderful modern hotel. The staff were very friendly and very informative. The food was excellent and the service all round was first class. The hotel is situated right beside Eyre Square and has easy access to both Bus and Train links. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are visiting Galway.

Had the most wonderful treatments in the Spirit one Spa by the amazing Hazel (Lava Shell Relax Full Body Massage & Elemis Pro-Collagen Age Defy) I would highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hands down the best treatments I have ever had. Thank you Hazel ❤️ Will definitely be back!

Had an amazing relaxed weekend with my husband in the Galmont last weekend. Pool sauna and outdoor hot tub were just what I needed. Can’t wait to visit in summer 2022

Lovely hotel. So central for Galway city.
very modern. Staff very efficient. But could probably do with a few more in the restaurant for the breakfast rush.
beds are very comfortable. Pillows a but too soft for my liking.
could do with a few more tea/coffee makings in the rooms.
Elemis products in the bathroom are FAB.
Pool is fab, well managed with sauna and outdoor hot tub.
I would definitely return.

Attending a wedding. Staff are 110% helpful and friendly even through Covid restrictions. Would like to name all but simply can’t! From Ruairi in the bar to the breakfast waiters who made sure to find our chocolate loving kids Nutella. Checkin staff who helped get our room a little earlier so we could dress for the wedding. Wonderful Job guys! Very Personable and individual service. The Hotel is fabulous but the staff make it exceptional.

Just spent 2 nights here. Highly recommended. The rooms are a bit fab, big beds water in the rooms and wee fridge. Plus on each floor water cooler to refill your bottles.
Breakfast was the best I've ever had everything was so fresh. The staff are fab so nice and with all the restrictions the hotel has it to a T.
The leisure centre and gym are brilliant loved the out door hot tub. Thanks again for a fab 2 nights will be back.

I would not recommend this hotel at all.
We Pre booked adjoining rooms the August Bank Holiday.
They gave our rooms away. We had Pre booked Spa treatments which they got wrong. We Pre booked our Pool session they got that wrong too. The rooms were not sanitised or clean & we even found a used cigarette on a chair in our room!

Just home from a 2 night break. Had a fab family room for 3 of us, the food was gorgeous, cocktails were very pleasant and the spa and treatments were just amazing. The masseuse was incredible and the thermal spa was one of those places you could spend all day in. Will be back.

Gorgeous hotel, we've stayed here a good few times and have never been disappointed The bed in the room on our last visit was so comfortable that I've actually ordered the mattress for our own room.

Spirit One Spa is excellent, all of the treatments were divine especially the lava shell massage — wow! The thermal suite is pretty awesome too. Lunch in Coopers included is a lovely touch and a really tasty food spot with very friendly staff.

Very very loud outside. I guess it’s a big party place but I paid extra for a business class room and it’s so loud. Impossible to sleep. Unacceptable for the price.

I stayed in The Galmont at the weekend. I would highly recommend this hotel. The service, staff and location of hotel was excellent. In addition, the spa is definitely a must for anyone. It was so relaxing. I'll be due back a visit again hopefully very soon.

Such comfortable beds! The staff are wonderful. Food is excellent and it's in a great location. I left something important behind and they couldn't have been more helpful. Definitely going back and using the Spa next time.

10/10 experience visited the spa and had lunch in the hotel. Lovely staff and great service. Definitely recommend.

Nobody answering my emails, nobody seems to answer a phone at this hotel, still waiting 2 weeks later for my receipt to be sent to me! Also the Irish pubs global event with over three hundred publicans in Galway most staying at the hotel for an event and the slowest service I've ever experienced in a bar.

The worst service I have ever encountered in 25 years of living in Galway. Race Week is always a huge event in Galway, why can't a hotel that purports to be a landmark in Galway hire staff that can actually work a bar? The place was like a cattle mart tonight. It took over 1 hour to get a drink from the bar. I will never set foot in the place again. And all the group that I was with say the same.

On May 4th 18 had our wedding reception at The Galmont, due to the recent transition with management and name change, we didn't know what to expect. Well can I just say any worry we had was completely unnecessary, they went above and beyond the call of duty for us. They made our day even more special and every staff member we dealt with over our weekend of celebrations were so so helpful and could not do enough. Martin and Ashling, you were so helpful from the beginning, helping us plan and always been there to answer our questions, even down to the most trivial ones. The Galmont made our day what it was and for that we are forever thankful. Karen & David.

I went to the spa here for my birthday in september and myself my mother and sister all really enjoyed it, but it took 2days off phoning them to make an appointment, ended up having to email the hotel to get a response, didnt mind this too much as I know these things can happen, but this week I have been ringing the spa since tuesday leaving two messages with my number for them too get back too me and I still have not heard anything back and its now sunday, I understand its christmas and they are very busy but a phone call back would have been appreciated, wont be going back here as I feel this really is not good enough, its very poor service.

The first thing and such that I will most recommend having said about this place is the spirit one spa downstairs. Now that in particular is one thing not ever to be missed when coming to this hotel. Absolutely fabulous that totally and by far. At the same time the pool and hot tub areas are all pretty fab in their own ways too. Now I have to stress not just for my sake that sometimes the steam room and saunas don't work at all at the same time. There have been a very many instances of that which I hope very much that hotel staff take this into account. Not just for my sake but for theirs and others too having said. Thats word not just from me has to be said not just word from me that at all. The restaurant is very good to eat in have to say. The food depending on the dish is very top notch food and pretty fine selection of good quality wines and whiskeys as well must admit. Thats to mention when enjoying your food a fabulous overlooking city lakeside view from the restaurant window as well to make things all the better for you and whomever else is with you. The hotel staff all seem pretty ok so far. There have been some instances of incompetent members but not as much as other hotels. In the lounge and bar areas for example it has been outright reported instances of slow staff members and failure to deliver anything on time.

Afternoon tea to die for. My family & I were treated like royalty at the Radisson for our afternoon tea to celebrate a graduation.
The selection of savoury & sweet delights were deeeeelicious. Our waitress Eve & The rest of the staff were so attentive & the surroundings stylish & relaxed. Can't decide if our favourite was the potted crab, the poppy seed scones, chocolate moose cake or the raspberry champagne jelly — we'll just have to go back & try it all again!
