Bunk Boutique Hostel Galway Hostel

We stayed here for my hen last weekend and it's most definitely a hostel with class! It had the option of quadruplet rooms which is great for larger groups. It was so clean and tidy, very well laid out. The staff were very friendly and helpful, Dermot the manager in particular was very accomadating when we had to make some last minute changes. It's the pefect location, made life alot easier for us gals in our heels! Thank you so much for a great weekend, we will be back!

Great service, perfect location just across the street from the bus station. Very confortable and clean, perfect for short stays in Galway. Highly recommend!

Very disappointed in my stay here as heard very positive reviews but my stay was personally horrible the showers on my floor had no hot water maybe 5 shower rooms all had freezing cold wate. Room lockers were busted so nowhere to put your belongings in a safe place wallet passport etc and to top off a awful stay a homeless person was in the room with extremely poor hygiene and seemed to have a infected foot that leaked blood on his sheets and smelled the hostel room however only good thing I can say is the rooms were clean and the staff were friendly but if you are considering a hostel in Galway there are much nicer and cheaper than what you get here would not recommend.

Really cool, funky hostel which is spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly & welcoming. There is a luggage storage facility & it is in a great location just across the road from the new coach station & 2 mins from Eyre Square.

Room and ensuite bathroom was clean and well priced. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Location very good for exploring Galway. Easy parking in multi storey car park next door and very reasonably priced using a voucher provided by the hostel. Only downside was that the noise from the corridor was quite loud due to the laminate flooring used in the corridor.

This place was surprisingly good for a hostel. Room was clean and tidy. Could have done with a shelf or two in the bathroom but other than that it was great. The kitchen was so useful too and was perfectly clean. I'd definitely want the kitchen towels changed more often though as they smelled pretty bad.

Clean, comfy beds, secure, great area to chill out and read, self service kitchen. The lift wasn't working and the lockers were small, but you can leave larger luggage downstairs if you have to. Even though the lift was temporarily out of order the manager lugged up my heavy bag. All of the staff I met with were lovely — friendly and accommodating. In fact I nearly gave the place five out of five. I would certainly stay here again and advise others to do so. Maybe next time it will get that extra star.

Great value. Lovely staff. Be aware that works start at around 7am right next door — it's not a nice wake up call so maybe check before you book.

Right across street from coach bus station, very convenient to city, rooms very clean, appear to be recently done. Great kitchen for making own food, friendly staff.

My partner and myself just left this morning and I have to say what a lovely place from the min you walk to u leave staff are very kind friendly welcoming and very helpful. The kitchen is very clean and tidy, Bedrooms are very clean to and the beds are very comfortable and relaxing, The hole place is just friendly and relaxing. Its also a great location right beside to bus station, two min walk to train station and two min walk to shops and eyre sqaure. I am looking forward to my next trip to Galway, I will be booking Bunk Boutique hostel thanks to all the staff christina quinn Dublin.

Bunk hostel is a great location right in the city centre. With clean well appointed rooms and a funky feel.

Great budget friendly hostel, rooms are very small but very clean and fit for purpose. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. In n excellent location, within walking istance of plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars. Only spent one weekend here but would definitely go back :)

Great rooms for inexpensive. The room was clean and the breakfast was very nice. Very good hotel. The problem with the parking. There is a public pay, but expensive. For a night about 20 euros, but from the hotel you can get a card with a discount of 10 euros. It is possible, if not so many things, to leave a car nearby on a road parking for a night for 6 euros. We did so-very convenient.

Great value for money and lovely staff but the door to the room was too thin or something because whenever anyone walked down the hall it felt like they were walking through my room and I heard every step they made. Also I found a contact lense on the bathroom floor which was a bit gross. Otherwise the place seemed spotless. I just hate those dried up little contact lenses.

Good location, clean and good atmosphere.

I stayed here for 3 nights, here is a calm hostel with carrying staffs, everything is clean. There is a full function kitchen which I saw everyone cooking in it, they have an small area for luggage outside of rooms and each bed as a locker which is not very big. I was comfortable here in compare the other hostel in Dublin.

It was clean, perfectly located, bed was comfy but keep in mind the rooms are small! I mean tiny weeny in the private doubles. Great value for the money!

We found the hostel to be very comfortable and clean. The perfect place to stay when in Galway. Staff was really helpful and the double room we booked was comfortable, clean and had a nice and clean bathroom.

Great location and great facility. Prepare to hear everything your fellow travelers say and do, however. Not the greatest sound proofing, but that's not too unexpected for such compact quarters. Lovely staff. Probably the most enjoyable check in and check out you'll have.

Grand hostel. Triple bunks are a tight squeeze. Heavy duvet for summer not ideal. Clean and cheap. Great location.

Really amazing find. So cheap to stay there. Beds were excellent, genuinely so comfy. Staff were very kind and would help you anything you would ever need even offering us lifts. The shower head was a little broken but it didn't matter at all. No where better to stay for the price.

For the price and location, this worked really well. Good walking distance from the city center. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful. There was a coupon for €3 off 24 hour parking nearby which was very helpful… but it didn't work. Rooms are very basic as you'd expect for a hostel. Free toast and cereal for breakfast a nice touch. Floors in room were sticky. If you like hostels you'll like this place, does exactly what it says on the tin.

My friends and I stayed here Saturday night. The friendliness of the staff from check in to check out. Warm, hospitable and friendly staff. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Galway. Great location in the centre of the city. The bedrooms are lovely and spotless.
Special mention to Dermot on reception. Thanks for your great friendly service and the late check out. Thanks to the nice french guys on reception too. We will be back again. ☺

This was SUCH a great hostel. By far the best I've ever stayed in. The staff were super cool and laid back, the decor in the common area was very boutique and it made to be a great place to hang out and have a glass of wine before heading out to a Pub. If your a couple and you can get a twin private room it may aswell be a Hotel. Our room was an en suite with a TV and very clean. Bed sheets were glistening. If your iffy about Hostels this is definitely the place to dip your… toe as you'll be pleasantly surprised. If your a regular hostel goer then this is your palace! Fair play lads! 10/10

Central. Easy walk to shopping and pubs.
