Had a work trip far away from Jakarta for automotive events at TP, Surabaya are indeed authentic city and ive been placed in this Tunjungan Hotel for a 2 night stay.
Rooms are all clean and tidy, love the work for the housekeeping team for keeping it in absolute best level to stay! Tho buildings might seems old its still comfortable to stay in this place due to their cleanliness. I'll say the Air conditioner feels like doin its best to gave me a nice temp but I guess you need to fix that better cause its srsly a bit need service n repair for the changing temp. Also its not really quiet in this place u could hear next door makin any typa noise too.
Also a serious note for their service & reviews.
Idk if this place are having small team inside and but for a proper hotel like this its truly saddens me that me and my team have to carry our luggage ourselves, FOH exists in their frontdesk but ion see any bellboy that'll greet the guest or even assist our luggage.
Plus there's a few moment where the electricity went off for at least 3 times in a short term of time. And well had a bathroom doorlockedd for no reason and my roommate getting locked for 20 min since it cannot be opened, no key inside, cant even turnin the doorknob and when I called the reception desk team they say I have to try it again to opened it MYSELF with a mere spoon.
Be fr you shouldn't do your guests like that, we called for a reason we called for help is itsoh hard to checked on ur guests and fix the issue already? its not like I came here illegally and not paying but that's what they said, pretty shocking and dissapointing.
By any chance there's a few issue that might be your points to evaluate and fix it better, place is nice but service and manpower are necessary to be shown as ur guests deserve :)
Among all I appreciate their Housekeepers and security team better cause they really show how it shud be like to deliver great service and genuine hearts in work, keep it up this place can be better than ever.
