When we arrived there were already two man, one in front and one in the back of the counter, totally drunk and smoking. The first overall impression was very dirty also checking the floors and entrance of the hotel. After check in we found multiple empty beer bottles all over the hotel. The capsule was somewhat clean, the towels seemed to be washed, yet the bedsheets were full of hair and stains, which was kind of gross. Only half of the lights in the capsule were working, reading lights etc, were out of order. Also, it was very loud in the capsule giving you the feeling you are sleeping on the streets due to heavy traffic noises, which were louder inside the capsule than on the hallways of the hotel.
Overall doable for one night, but would not go there again.

Good:
Clean sheets.
Clean capsule.
Clean bathroom and shower.
Excellent central location.
Bad:
Lockers or maybe some lockers can't be locked and need fixing.
Air in the capsule should be stronger, I had to open my capsule to get more of the AC air from the corridor.
The reception area and lounge are a bit dirty, messy, and hot.

Good hotel for your solo traveling, located in the middle of surabaya, near some interesting places such as Surabaya Plaza, railway station, hospital, gas station, coffee shop, minimarket, and the other attractions. Good service, but need more maintenance concern for the capsules.
