Grand Inna Tunjungan Hotel Surabaya

Overall stay experience was pleasant.
It's a revitalized hotel from the 90s located at the heart of Surabaya, only a walking distance to lively Tunjungan Walk, and the famous Tunjungan Plaza.
Hotel staff was super helpful and friendly, eversince the first greet, until you checked out.
Hotel rooms are considerable still worth with the price being charged.
Definitely will consider to stay here again when I visit Surabaya.
Few notes for improvement:
— hotel rooms facing the street to be more sound-proved. We do experience awoken at night because of motorcycles revving at late midnight.
— stabilize internet connection to improve reliability for guest to have working session from their room.
— pool area to add signage "no safeguards on duty" since the pool is ranging between 1-3 meters.
— breakfast room-check experience, on my 2nd day of stay (jun 28), I came to know both my room numbers (219-221) have been used by someone. So the person-in-charge claimed that I could not enter. But since I insist, so I'm allowed only that after putting the argument.

Recommended to stay here because of its close proximity to Tunjungan Plaza and Jalan Tunjungan. Staffs are very friendly and attended to our request for connecting room and high floor. Spa is also very nice! Room is very big and clean. Might need to consider soundproofing for the rooms facing the main road. Also, no iron provided in the room so have to opt for pressing service by the housekeeping. So that's something to take note for before coming (especially for ladies that need to iron their hijab). Definitely will stay here again when coming to Surabaya!

The staff is the most pleasant on Surabaya. The place is comfy and quiet. They have large room even for standard room, the water is clean and refreshing. The place is near the Tunjungan Plaza Mall, have a public road connecting to TP mall, also the hotel is near Circle K if you need a snack or anything, also near public park / green park, if you want to hangout or just do running outdoor. Anyway it’s the best place to spend the holiday in Surabaya.

My second time stay here, its good, clean, comfy room and very friendly staffs. The location is quiet strategic too. Definitely come back to stay again when trip to Surabaya.

The hotel's prime location in the heart of the city, makes it convenient for both business and leisure travelers.

It is worth it to stay at this hotel. A good ppace, the hotel staff and the security are very polite, helpful and nice. The room is clean and neat. I have no complaints with everything here. Thank you for giving us a good experience and services.

Basing on the price point, I have no complaints with the location, size of the room, the finishing in the room & the service. Lost a star for the unsatisfactory water hot shower, the water pressure should be stronger & I would prefer the shower head to come with a flexible hose.
The hotel is sited next to a busy main road & my room was facing the road. On the Saturday night that I was there, I was awaken a few times by the throttling booming of motor cycles. So if you are a light sleeper, a room on the other side of the corridor would be better.
Lots of food options in the vicinity including street food if you are up to it.
Only a few minutes walk to massive Tunjungan Plaza shopping mall.

Very good place to stay. Convinient location and the service is great.
The quilt blanket (linen cover) already old, it is need an improvement to change it into the newer quilt. I also lil confused to find the trash bin in the main room. I thought it was a chair, until the last, I still dont know it was a trash bin if the receptionist didnt tell me that.
Overall, all in it is very comfortable!

We book 2 rooms for 2 nights in this hotel. This one of the oldest Hotel in Surabaya I think.
Room were OK regardless minor defect that we saw in the room.
Breakfast was delicious and waitress are very attentive monitoring breakfast activity.
This hotel is great value for its price.
Ice Cream promotion is a little bit tricky. WE check with reception on what did the 'term and condition' means which written on the voucher. He firmly assure us that there is no term, we can just exchange the voucher for ice cream.
Since we are extending for the second night, I come to reception to get another ice cream voucher. We assume the voucher are given to guest every checked in.
Then here is the TERM come to play. Voucher are only given 1 per room per stay. Even we are extending, we do not leave the hotel so it is treated as 'one period of stay.
He mention if we check out first and come back to stay again then they will give the voucher. Well it was not big deal, but cannot avoid the feeling being tricked since we did ask the TERM earlier.

Can't even handle 240W laptop adaptor, power keep outaging. Also the towels are so old, need to be replaced to be honest.

Nice spacious room, good hospitality, bathroom can be updated, shower was slow. Pillow can also be upgraded to a better one. The breakfast was lovely, if you are a foodie and love trying local food, the breakfast buffet is for you. They even have mi sedap goreng for options. Located in the city centre. The mattress, towels can also be updated.

Been here appx. 3 times, the pillows are fluffy, the bed is also comfortable. Most importantly the room & the lobby are clean and smells nice😍 the staffs are also helpful, thank you! Definitely will come back again!
