The staff at Terima Kasih are so attentive and helpful, they are also really friendly and you feel like you’re walking into your own home when you come here! They have really clean accommodation with all the basic amenities that you could possibly want, they have a kitchen so you can cook your own food if you feel like it and they’re also right next to a Main Street with lots of warung’s that have really good food. I would say some of the really good restaurants you will likely have to order a Grab bike to get to but Malang is a big place so this is naturally expected. The beds are really comfy, and the space is really calm and quiet so you can get proper rest — which is ideal when you are doing all the tours such as Mount Bromo and the waterfalls! The hostel can arrange everything for you regarding tours and shuttle services anywhere you need so it’s really the perfect place if you’re coming to Java! :)
My first hostel experience and it was a blast. The rooms are nice and the.
Sharing facilities are great and clean, they have kitchen, and tables inside and outside for guests interactions. The people I met at this hostel are really cool and friendly, both the guests and the staff.
It's quite far from the city center, which means there's not many amenities in a walking distance, but it's pretty quite and good envirenment, so a good trade-off.
It sets a quite a high bar and expectations for the next hostels I would visit ;)

A really lovely place to stay in a fairly good location. It’s off the main roads so nice and quiet. The shared bathrooms are kept very clean. Theres a kitchen area and free water fill up!
Seating outside, the staff are all really lovely and the bed is pretty comfortable. Although the fan in our room wouldn’t point down, and it was very hot and stuffy in there a lot of the time.
Can easily get grab delivered and only a 5 minute walk to the nearest shop :)
