Regent's Park Hotel

The room is comfortable and clean but there are small cockroaches in the bathroom crawling around. Also when sleeping at night there are lots of random noises on AC and ceiling area.
When arriving at the hotel, the hotel boy was slow and we had to put down our suitcases by ourself to the lobby.

The hotel might be old, but the hotel manage to keep up and maintain the quality of facility and room. During my stay, the room is clean. It might have some kind a classic interior but I like it and its comfortable. Sadly because the room too comfortable I overslept and skip breakfast, therefore I cannot comment on the breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel also had an adequate parking space, I can see a swimming pool from my room window so it can be said the hotel have complete facilities. Though I have one small feedback, my room have ants appearing in the desk and bathroom. Regent’s Park might be old, but I can say its aged well, almost like a fine wine.

Overal the hotel is pretty good. Chill pool, great location and friendly staff.
For westerns, it could use a little renovation/upgrading.
(which they were doing while we were there).
I think we just had bad luck with our room being on of the older ones. Overal it was good but just the carpet had been there for a while and the bathroom was outdated.
Overal, okey for what you pay for. Rooms are very big which was nice.

Good place to stay here a couple of day and location in the moddle of Malang city.
Note for housekeeping team, to clean the every room's corner. I found a lot of hair on each corner.
During check-in room is ready and as usual hotel management allow us stay in the room at 14:00.
My suggestion is ensure once more room cleanliness. I check bed sheet is dusty, I assume this room has been clean for few days ago.

This is a nice Indonesian hotel. It is much used for business, weddings and other events and many Indonesians from Java use it during their leisure trips to Malang.
It is not the newest hotel, nor a 5 star experience, but very comfy, convenient and at a great location. One can even walk to most Malang sights in the city centre. Very tasty food served in the resturant and for breakfast. Helpfull staff and dedicated general manager. We stayed here four days during (business) trip in a great quiet room at the back of the hotel with pool view… Value for money!

This hotel is quite strategically located in the middle of Malang city, not too far from the city square. This hotel is quite old but still comfortable. When I stayed, I actually booked a superior double room, but it turned out to be full. The hotel tried to help us by upgrading our room to deluxe, even though it was still a twin bed. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.
Deluxe Room review: comfy, AC was good, there was a TV with many channels too. There was also a sofa and work desk. The rooms are quite spacious, although some parts of the room were rotten and need repair. Wifi in the room was not ok, maybe because the room is too far from the Wi-Fi access point. There are also slippers, coffee, tea, mineral water and a water heater available. Wardrobe is also available in the room. The only thing lacking was that there was no fridge in the room so we couldn't store the fruit or drinks we bought. The bathroom is quite clean, toiletries are also available, although limited. But there is no hair dryer. In our room’s bathroom, the top shower was not working, it was broken. What the hotel needs to pay attention to is the cleanliness in the room. The coffee/tea cups in the room were still dirty and there were coffee residues that were not clean. There was also a lot of dust in the room and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned before. The towels are also no longer pure white. The hotel has a swimming pool but it looks less clean and not good.
