I can tell that the employees are working as hard as they can with the outdated facilities provided by upper management. This hotel has an outstanding location, very historical but poorly maintained. It is unfortunate because a location like this has a lot of potential to express the history of Malang and its surroundings.
The hotel is so poorly maintained and smells. There's barely any ventilation at the dining area and awful ventilation at the hallways.
I had to refund and checkout early because the breakfast was abysmal and the room was awful.
This is not a 4* hotel. The 4* plaque displayed at the reception is deceiving because I did not experience a 4* hotel.
I will not ever come back until the hotel meets proper standards.
