Desa Limasan Retreat

We arrive and it really feels like paradise, but after a few days you realize that it's tailored to the interests of its owner, who wants to cheat you.
The food at this restaurant was not up to par. It was poorly presented and didn't taste good.
Management, comment about the daily meal lunch with grilled chicken smelling bad, “it's normal and the chef has tasted it and says it's good”
When it came time to check out, due to the various flaws in the food, as we'd been having lunch and dinner at other local restaurants, I received an incorrect bill from this company and it's been a hassle trying to get it resolved. I'm disappointed in the lack of customer service.

I'm really happy to stay in Desa Limasan Resort, especially in Limasan Kolam.
Great sunset view, private pool, 3x meals and other facilities. Good to meet friendly and helpful staff. I also rented a motorcycle to visit Kasap beach, Kali Cokel, etc.

Perfect for a relaxed, restorative, refreshing beach holiday. Our family stayed in 3 villas — the Hilltop, the Private Pool and a small villa on the beachfront.
The Hilltop villa is perched atop a small hill with panoramic views of the coast, ocean, and the mouth of the Cokel river where small fishing boats come in and out. The windows wrap around the entire villa with different types of seating and tables at different spots so you can enjoy meals, or just relax, and look out at the view. The sea breeze is beautiful. You can’t hear anything but the peaceful sounds of waves, the breeze and birdsong. It is the perfect blend of modern Indonesian joglo with a vintage, beach house vibe.
Everything is clean. The shower, toilets and sinks are new and spotless. Towels are soft and smell lovely. Beds are comfy. Living area is spacious.
Meals can be delivered to the villa and are absolutely delicious. The meal packets offer good variety with fresh produce. Although there is a kitchen in the villa there aren’t any cooking facilities, e. G. Stove or microwave, but the room service is fast and generously portioned, and unless you brought all your own groceries with you, you probably won’t be cooking anyway. The fridge is stocked with drinks.
Access to the villa is either via your car or motorbike, or on foot up the steep driveway or staircases.

It was good experience. First time in desa limasan and met the owner mr. Roman, he's humble and always make sure we have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The road to the location quite narrow. Close to the beach, 3times meals, beautiful scenery and surrounding, a bit traditional building with good and oldies ambience, and good service from all the staffs. So far desa limasan offer best hospitality.

We stayed at the Limasan Hill Top, and the view was awesome…! Breathtakingly beautiful beaches (we can see three of them), soothing sound of waves, and some view of the forest…
The staff was friendly and always willing to help us with our need…
Overall, great job…

The place and the view is very nice since it's directly connected to the beach. The price vs. The daily housekeeping is not good though. With that price, the housekeeping should've been daily at the least to make sure all the guests are comfortable.

Second time here!
But this time in the Limasan Besar which is perfect for 4 couples and kids. We were 12 and we had a magical moment here, going to the beaches around, making a little trip with small speed boats on the river close by, going at sea with the same boats also, you can go fishing in the morning, there is plenty of good fishes here.
Beaches around are clean, that’s very enjoyable. Big waves and current can be dangerous so better swim just on the front, pur kids had no problem and swam all day long for 5 days.
The staff of the hotel is very gentle and polite and always extremely helpful.
Thanks to Norman the owner to keep this place always super neat and maintained.
We will come again!

Amazing place… amazing space.

Good place to retreat yourself here, nice view, good food for 3 times a day so you doesnt need to find food out there, near with beach. Overall OK.

Hidden resort beside the ocean. Rejuvenate in the Javanese style villas and let the sea breeze blow away your cares. Book direct and enjoy Indonesian and Western dishes prepared with love. After 3 days I felt that I was one of the Desa Limasan family, so warm was their welcome. Do yourself a favour and skip the crowded, dirty beaches closer to Yogyakarta. Travel as little further and rejoice — you have found Paradise.

Today is second time my husband and I also our lil daughter stay in this retreat. We are staying in Limasan Kolam, very nice room, great view.
Thought Kolam is no fence but no drama with our lil daugher. Keep on eye of her!
Staff is very helpful, great service and great location.
You must stop here and enjoy your day!

Great for family holiday. Stay at the hilltop villa, which offer amazing view, both sunrise and sunset. The resort offer full board deals (meals included) food taste great and the fresh seafood is amazing and reasonably priced. Very quiet and secluded during weekdays. Definitely will return.
